I was told that the assistant manager, Hailey, was on her way so I was peacefully walking around. After a while, I saw a worker come out to the front desk organizing papers and I assumed it was Hailey. I assumed she would come to me to introduce herself, but instead I came to her. I asked if she was Hailey and I put my hand out for a handshake to introduce myself. Her response was "Oh I don't do hands" and continued to walk away from me. She avoided eye contact and said we will walk to the shoe section. I followed, immediately she asked about my availability. I explained I am a student and I can only work specific hours, she interrupted and said they were only looking for morning people. She told me my availability said the morning, but I explained that was my summer availability. She said that will not work for us and continued to walk away without any closure. That is by far the worst interaction I have had with an Assistant Manager. The disrespect was unnecessary, and I hope that there will be a follow up with that manager.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the layout was very similar to Ross and Marshalls. That definitely wasn't what I remembered from shopping there as a kid! As far as clothing goes, though, Burlington had exactly what I was looking for! The store was easy to navigate, with clearly organized sections that made finding what I needed quick and efficient. I was actually impressed with the selection and how easy it was to shop. After 30 years, I'd say Burlington has definitely earned another visit from me!

Definitely gives the impression theft is a major problem, but still a fun place to shop for bargain brand finds.

Went in store and Ninni, the cashier, immediately questioned "is this maternity", and it was and immediately said "we don't take maternity returns". Well, the online receipt says to drop it off at the store? She just kept repeating they don't take maternity. She called the manager (not sure her name, but red haired) and the manager came storming up already pissed/heated. Kept repeating they don't take maternity. I kept trying to ask why the online receipt said to bring it in store and kept getting interrupted and "we don't take maternity". So I got a bit frustrated and once again asked why the online receipt tells me to drop off in store if they don't take the returns and the manager gets aggressive and raised her voice and said "if you do this again, we will not help you"...... ummmm what? I am not sure why I was met with such anger, aggression, and hostility when I was just following directions. If I was simply told like "hey sorry the website is messed up" or "sorry we can't take it, this is how to fix it", I would have had no issue with the interaction. But, raising your voice at me and not being willing to help fix the situation is not ok. To Ninni and the manager I spoke to today, I hope you are a little more kind and patient with the next person that comes into your store with a return.

Had a few minutes while waiting for my friend to arrive for our lunch. So I went in the store to…read moresee what new items they have. I like the belts with the bling on them, the wristlets, the cute boots. So many clothing styles and hats to select from. I wandered around and admired the boots. Then I saw something I couldn't live without - a carrying bag for my boots. How did I not know these existed? I've been carrying around my boots in chintzy plastic shopping bags. Now they can be protected when I travel. I also picked up some warm gloves for Christmas gifts. And I found some mink oil for my boots. All in all a productive unexpected visit.
