My first time I visited the staff had a horrible attitude. The only person who seemed happy to be working here was the manager on staff that day. He was extremely nice & helpful. I'm allergic to honey and he called the ordering staff to make sure that the cornbread or BBQ sauces didn't have any honey before ordering. That was really thoughtful of him. Having said that my mother had been here one time before and she claimed that the crispy potatoes were delicious. This visit I went ahead and ordered the single meat plate. I got the brunt ends, with crispy fried potatoes, and cornbread. The burnt end were delicious. The BBQ sauces are all good but the best one to me is the original. It's super cool that they have the BBQ in self serve containers. The crispy fried potatoes honestly had too much seasoning and were really spicy. The cornbread is too dry for my liking My aunt ordered the pork ribs which are $14. Honestly they are not worth it. Although I do have to state that the manager came by our table and she told him they were not good so he brought her s different meat. That was really nice of him. My second visit I was hoping for better customer service and boy was I disappointed. Not sure why their staff at their newer restaurants just don't seem happy to be working here. I came here to have dinner with my husband for my birthday. I ordered the burnt ends but this time with the crispy fried potatoes easy seasoning and garlic toast. We also went ahead and order and add-on of burnt ends. First time I came person handing out the menus said. If I ever did want to get the 2 meat plate it was better to get the one meat plate and do an add-on because they would give you more and he was right. My husband loved the burnt ends. Also first time I came the manager was going table to table to ask if everything was ok, second time the managers didn't even care. All in all I love the food just not the customer service. JBQ is avery attactive option for lunch or dinner at the San Manuel casino. I will eat there again. I'm a fan of their BBQ sauces. The sit down eating environment is inviting, clean. I had the Pulled Pork w Smoked Turkey Breast and thought it was an awesome meal and a decent value for the price. The sides options are good, but I made a suggestion to add collard greens. I also made a suggestion to add banana pudding for dessert. I do think the order window will need be modified in time. It isn't as inviting to walk-in, walk-up guests as the George Lopez Chingon Kitchen restaurant, also inside the Casino, 2nd floor. The service at JBQ was good. Everybody needs to drop what they are doing and head over to JBQ and get their burnt ends. They are so good. The smoke flavor is real and perfect. And that crust.......Yummy. Their staff servers, like their food are HOT!!!! You should see these girls. OMG!!!! There is this cute girl Latino girl with cute dimples that knows how to handle your meat. Great big servings. You will leave stuff. Also the girl at the register, her name is like Thotada, ya she's cool and she touch my pickle on accident with her clean glove on and promptly replaced my pickle. Tahada was the one that took my order, was very professional and made sure that everything I ordered was brought to me quickly and to my liking. I really appreciate it when people go the extra mile to make sure everything is okay. No eye contact from staff, everyone looked like they were trying really hard to look busy, I finally got someone to take my order, went up to pay chipotle style, then the cashier asked my order again. Paid then sat down then again a different person came up to me and asked what I ordered. 3 times. Had they took my order first then brought out the food it wouldn't be a problem. Someone else at my table got the wrong items on their order clearly for the same reason. I get bad service and systems but the food does not constitute the 4.5 star rating on yelp. Apparently they warmed everything up and completely dried out the brisket rendering it inedible. St Louis ribs were not what was expected, they were actually riblets. They reopen at the new bar called 909. The ribs was always meaty and the pulled pork is pretty good. The sides aren't that great. Potatoe salad is not good at all or Cole slaw. Wish I could leave zero stars. I was starving so I ate most of the super dry, overcooked ribs. When I got to the end of the plate I couldn't just leave without giving them a heads up about the poor food quality. The first person I approached told me to go to the other side and tell them my complaint. The message was getting lost on the employees of the restaurant and I became incredibly frustrated by the lack of caring shown by the rude, dismissive employees. Finally I spoke to a "supervisor" who's first response to me was that it seemed like I had eaten most of the ribs. While that was a factual statement it doesn't excuse the terrible ribs I brought back to show them. I guess in her mind if you're lucky enough to find a few edible parts of your meal you should be satisfied. I tried letting her know that I didn't want anything more than to let her know that the food was terrible and that they really need some improvement in the customer service area. For a casino eatery (and for a non-casino eatery), this place is fantastic. Prices are inexpensive and comparable to other BBQ restaurants. The meat is fairly tender and flavorful. My friend and I ended up sharing a two meat plate and it was just enough. If we were hungrier, we could have added a third meat option for a few bucks more. I'm so glad I found this place. It is my go-to now if I am hungry and don't have any dining credits at the buffet or the other restaurants. Besides, this place tastes 10000x better than the buffet. Sorry not sorry. read more

Decided to come here for the street tacos but once we seen they were gone we decided to try the new restaurant that replaced them. Food was ok could use some work hope they can fix these minor things to make this place better, I ordered the burnt ends with mac n cheese, and my friend ordered the beef ribs with baked beans. Everything look good on the plate as you can tell from the picture but looks are deceiving. The best part from both of our plates were my burnt ends and her side of cornbread, the mac and cheese had no flavor it was too watery, the barbecue beans were to dry it almost felt like I was eating refried beans from a can, as for the ribs they were tasty i really enjoyed the dry rub but what they made up in flavor they lacked in moisture cause they were dry. Secondly it would help a lot if they removed the film on the backside of the ribs before cooking it will help them meat fall off the bone.
