Please avoid this place. Rude Indian guy that has a smart mouth to paying customers. I hope you guys dont have the same experience I did. I am a Med Student, like any other who relies in his car to get to school. I was recommended this shop by a family friend, and by the reviews I was utterly fooled. I drove in from Naperville, after talking to this very loud Indian man, and left my car with them. I dont mind paying for quality, especially for a car I need for school. This guy had the nerve to be rude after I wanted more time to think on the repairs of $1600-$2600 on my car, saying I wasted his time for checking the car. My car needs a $2600 repair, I have class next week, and somehow I wasted this guys time with my problem. Hey friend, dont open a mechanic shop I ended up paying him $100 (on his board it stated $80 but on the phone he said $100) for the diagnostic time. The reason I paid $100 was to save myself the humiliation of being in this scum bags debt. PLEASE PLEASE dont come here, they dont deserve the business. First time here. The shop is clean and organized. The owner is unbelievable. I had two tires that needed to be replaced on a Saturday morning. The owner got me a tow got the exact tires in a half hour. Total time about 2 hours. Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!! Please come to this place if you're looking for a repair place. Took my car here based on a friends recommendation to get wipers fixed. I was worried that the whole wiper system was destroyed with the heavy snow but luckily they were able to straighten out the internal mechanism and reattach it fairly quickly without having to replace any parts. The work was competed in about an hour. Price seemed a little high but the timely service made up for that. Location was easy to find and they seem to have enough space to work in multiple vehicles at the same time. I will definitely recommend this shop for anyone who needs auto repairs. read more

I took my car here to check the air conditioning that hasn't been working, and for an oil change. Moe was helpful and informative. He seems to want to have a reputation for being honest, and my experience was that he was honest. I appreciated that he said he wouldn't do any work until he called me. He ended up recharging my air conditioning after not finding a leak, and said to drive the car for a week and if it didn't seem cool enough to call back and then they'd take the next step. He said he didn't want to replace parts and charge me for anything that I didn't need, which I appreciated. The price was reasonable and I appreciated Moe's honesty, service, explanation of what they did and could do, and communication. I will return in the future. read more

I got an oil change, earlier today. When I drove away Mo, the owner noticed oil on the ground. Mo, frantically called the number (home phone) I gave him but was unable to reach me because, I wasn't home. He went so far as to have his nephew search for me on Facebook. The nephew found two people with my name, and sent Mo the photos. Mo, contacted me thru messenger and told me to come back so that he could check my car out. They corrected the problem and replaced air and cabin filters free of charge. That is EXCELLENT customer service. I will definitely be back. read more

He calls you with the cost before any work is done and in one particularly tight situation accepted payment in two parts. We have been bringing our cars to Just Auto Care ever since it opened. Prior to that the owner had a Goodyear shop in Elmhurst and we went there. Mo is always trying to do the right thing for us. I recently brought my 10-year-old Honda Civic in for an oil change and asked him to look at the battery since it is old and winter is upon us. After looking the car over, Mo asked how long I plan to keep it. When I said "a long time," he recommended other work. I appreciated that he took into consideration how long I plan to keep the car. This guy is decent. Work is decent and is friendly. He doesn't allow you to bring your own parts and his parts aren't the cheapest. If he would allow bringing your own parts, I would give him a higher rating. I am sure he makes some margin on the parts which is why he won't let you bring your own. Owner one of the best guys I know. My emergency brake got stuck and towed it over to him. We spoke for a while and he told me it's a failed part. Without hesitating he gave me a temporary fix and asked if I was finishing the work with him. I said yes and he told me he'd order the part have a nice day. Once my part came in he called me and fixed it. When I got there everything was done and then some. All my fluids had been topped of. When it was time to pay I compared him to the shops around and hands down I can say he's easily the best with price. Forced to leave one star. I took my car here because I saw all these great reviews. Well yea... I went in for an oil change and that went fine. A little while later I started getting warning lights on my car. I took the car back and they checked it out saying oh it's probably the brakes. They said to drive it around until the lights come back on. So I did and then the light came back on. I took it back and then they said oh brakes are ok it's the abs system. They gave me some bogus random code saying this is the problem. The code was for some other car not even my own. I took my car to the dealership and within 5 minutes I was told they (just auto care) did NOT put any oil back into my car. These idiots almost destroyed my car. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!! They didn't even bother to check the oil. Worst customer service in the world. The person at the desk and the mechanics talk to you like you're stupid and an annoyance. I cannot stress this enough. IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A RUNNING CAR, DO NOT LET THESE GUYS ANYWHERE NEAR IT! read more

He gives you a couple options, tells me his opinion and let's me decide what I want to do - no pressure. We took our car in to get our tire fixed and an oil change. We were listening to the radio when I brought the car in. When we brought it home the radio was no longer working. They checked it out and said that it was the radio and nothing that they did. The radio, a pioneer, was working perfectly. They are nice and mostly accommodating but this incident turned me off. I had taken my car into Mo to look into a disaster after going to another mechanic...Moe said he would look into the error and fill me in as to what he thinks is wrong...Turns out that after the previous mechanic had done his work that the sensors just needed to be reset and cleaned up a bit. Moe took care of it and then informed me that he found an crack in my axle and that he could take care of it before it got really bad... He showed me the crack under the car and took care of it right away for me while I waited...Went and googled the part later and turns out that if it would have cracked completely while I was on the road could have been stranded somewhere with a broken down car...Moe seems like an honest guy and took care of me quite well...I don't hope to be back any time soon but if I need to go back I feel like I am in good hands... read more

I took my car here and not only did they keep me waiting 4 hours, they changed a part I did NOT authorize. I had told the mechanic that part had been replaced 4 months earlier but he changed it anyway. I brought the car in with a loud noise and left Moe's place with the same noise. He gave some lame excuse that the car was old and it's going to make noise! It took 3 mechanics under my hood to come up with a lame excuse for overcharging me. When I left and drove the car with the same noise, I turned the car around and went right back and the mechanic wouldn't even speak to me. Moe does nothing but walk around the shop and smoke outside. Oh he's knowledgeable alright, especially with overcharging customers. His mechanics sat in my car and left grease all over my seats and the carpet as well, without placing protective covers down. Only after I requested them, did they put them in, but by then it was too late. The only thing they did do right was the oil change. I wouldn't go back there if they were the last place in town. They are NOT honest and the prices are outrageous! The only satisfaction I got was reporting them to the BBB and stopping payment on my check. read more
