They did not even mention a cleaning (which I was due for). Grand total $4,500. Of course they magically had an opening to do the prep that same visit, but not for a cleaning. $$$ for the work vs $ for the cleaning. They act like they are doing you a favor. On top of that they do ridiculous tests and x-rays that are not covered by insurance. For my child's visit: $115 for fluoride $46 for oral hygiene instructions $129 for a saliva sample (wtf?) $400 x-rays that are not covered And for the wisdom teeth to come out even though there are no roots and they are not affecting her teeth. If you still choose to go after reading this- get a second opinion. Another corporate practice just looking for money.

He had a great way with the needle (a big deal in my book) and they were both a pleasure to work with...Had a surprise cavity in my wisdom tooth and they took care of it right there. He worked with me over time so I did not have to do much at once but prioritized based on my requests, and did not try to just get money out of my wallet, but actually take care of my teeth. Also, when providing them clearly via email the new insurance cards we were told that we are in network with the exact same coverage. Yet, we were billed for over $500 after the cleaning and exam. They are not owning their own mistakes no matter how much you talk to them. We called and checked after emailing the new cards and were assured that we are all set. They can reply all they want to this review, they were wrong, and they are wrongfully billing customers for extra financial gains. There is minimal wait time to be called back when you first arrive for your appointment. Mimi, the surgical assistant, is very knowledgeable, thorough, and patient, and is concerned about your comfort. She will answer any questions about any treatments you have as well as to provide demonstrations if needed. The doctor is well accomplished and efficient; he will do your treatment in an expedited timeframe but not in a rush. He follows up with any post surgical treatment and encourages communication during off hours if a problem were to arise.I came in without any bite on my back teeth as well as misalignment, due to previous sloppy treatment from a different provider and lack of personal attention. After corrected treatment with Dr.Josephs, and with minimal discomfort, I was able to bite comfortably and with confidence. Cosmetically there is no comparison to any previous treatment that I've ever had. It enhanced my smile confidence!
