The dentist was with another patient during my appointment, and came to me for a few minutes. After all exams were done and i was waiting for Dr. Tasr to come back to me.... After two months, I made two separate phone calls to check in. Only then did I receive an email from the dentist saying "You are a complicated case, and I wanted to take extra time to plan the treatment out for you" and that I could get a refund and my scans if I wanted. No actual treatment plan. She might be a skilled dentist, but the way she treats her patients is unacceptable. Communication, respect, and basic professionalism were completely lacking in my experience. I paid for a full exam and never received the service I was promised. As a mother balancing life with a newborn and a toddler, I don't have time to chase down healthcare providers to do their job. The dentist rushed into the room, spent maybe 15 minutes total on the procedure, and rushed right out. Immediately after, the tooth was rough, unpolished, and extremely sensitive--like it was hollow inside. I came back to have it corrected, and instead of taking responsibility, they told me I'd have to pay again before being seen. When I calmly explained that I wasn't paying for a fix to their own incomplete work, the staff started treating me like I was the problem. The dentist himself even came into the room aggressively, saying, "If you have an issue with me, say it to my face." I've never experienced anything so unprofessional or intimidating in a medical setting. On top of that, during a previous cleaning, I had expressed nervousness about a chipped tooth that my mom had advised me not to aggravate. The hygienist actually mocked me for saying that, sarcastically asking what my mom's profession was that she "knew better than a hygienist." That kind of condescending tone has no place in healthcare. Between the rushed work, the poor treatment, and the lack of professionalism, I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and care--not rushed, mocked, or made to feel intimidated for asking valid questions about their health.
