Then they tried to upsell me, saying "a quick fix isn't going to cut it" and that my bite was unhealthy -- and that I needed Invisalign. Red flag number two. In my head, I felt cornered again. I knew I wasn't going to get help for the issue I came in for. She just kept talking, trying to sell me whatever she could. I wanted to cry and go home. So I just nodded and agreed. She handed me a $2,650 treatment plan -- knowing I had no insurance. Then they charged me $265 for the X-rays and pictures without telling me beforehand. I felt trapped and said "okay" -- and then they ran my card themselves and only asked me to sign after the charge, when they returned my ID and card. I underwent extensive dental work here -- multiple extractions, a root canal and crown, several fillings, and top and bottom partial dentures -- and nearly every procedure has resulted in ongoing problems. The tooth that had a root canal remains painful because the dentist failed to remove the entire root, leading to infection. Even after admitting the issue, KA Dental tried to make me pay again to correct their own mistake. Several fillings have already fallen out, and one tooth even broke due to another poor-quality filling. To make matters worse, I had multiple dentists work on my mouth -- some of whom no longer work for KA Dental -- which likely contributed to the inconsistency and lack of accountability. My top partial denture now has mold growing inside the plate, and the office has refused to remove it or repair it, despite it clearly being the result of poor workmanship. I went through all this treatment to be free of dental pain, yet I am still suffering and now have to pay another provider to fix everything. The lack of quality control, professionalism, and responsibility at this office is appalling. I strongly urge anyone considering KA Dental to look elsewhere.
