The aesthetics of the restaurant is what caught my eye while driving passed a week or so ago, so I thought I'd give it a go after then scouring their menu.
Be careful of the step when you walk in. It leads to a really pretty designed area that houses about six or so tables. There's a long passageway to go to the back of the restaurant where I think they have parties and buffets. The furniture is modern and bright and was a lovely ambience.
The entrees came out in reasonably good time; though one dish quite a bit ahead of the second. They were both delicious, each with a bit of a kick. The samosas pastry was really good, and the filling nice too, but a bit of spice in there. The onion bhaji were a bit spicy also, but tasted good. The Garlic naan was really, really nice. Very flavourful without being burnt or too garlicy. The sauce for the butter chicken was absolutely smooth and delicious. Everything was spot on.
The service was good without being too overpowering and parking at this part of High St isn't too difficult. However ... they do take out and Uber Eats etc, so food can come out slow, and there's really only six main tables in the front. So if you want to be sure to get . a table, I highly recommend you book. With that said, I found this to be a really good dining experience overall and would love to go back again. read more
