So worst case scenario, would have been $500. When the job was done, they tried to charge nearly $700. They changed the price of a full load and then said that the 10% was no longer rolled into the price AND wanted to charge a $20 fee to pay with a credit card, also not disclosed and an excessive charge since merchant fees are in the 3% range and they shouldn't be charging more than the $500 quoted. Next, they said we had to pay them that to "close the file" before they would address the damage to the floors. They scratched the hard wood flooring and will not address until they get payment in full. Needless to say, there is no credibility since the first part of the experience was false. Overcharging the job in the first place... Then, refusing to fix the damage. I would be very careful with these people. We had someone there painting the unit so this was all with someone WATCHING over them. NOTE: Most of the reviews are 2+ years old... Due your diligence on them before you use them. UPDATE: Trying to file a claim with their insurance company directly since they are trying to get payment before addressing the damage. Needless to say, if we paid them, they would disappear without a trace and we be out the charge (including the overcharge of nearly $200) and would have to pay to have the floors done out of pocket as well... So, their insurance agent gave us the underwriter so we can try and file a claim with them directly.

Jessie from K & P kept up with us, checking for matching tiles on the roof (they didn't make them any more, no surprise), he had existing tiles tested, insurance co gave a little. Jessie told us KY laws have changed and suggested we complain to the state Department of Insurance. He walked me through my complaint and shortly after the insurance company came back with a large settlement.
