Received a text response later that day from Rich, instructing me to try his son Ryan's number (why didn't he give Ryan my info and have HIM contact ME??). Left a third voicemail with the new number same day (10/7). Received immediate text response, we set the appointment for today, 10/9/2024 at 10:30am. Ryan was a no-show. I texted him again at 11:01am today and have received no response. I try to be accommodating to people, I know that unforeseen things can happen. But it only takes a moment to call or send a quick text. I don't accept being ghosted, especially by a business. UPDATE: Ryan returned my text. On Monday, when scheduling the appointment, he stated "next Wednesday" which I interpreted as today. Clearly, one of us should have stated the actual date. One of the many pitfalls of texting in lieu of an actual voice conversation. I have updated the rating from one star to three stars. Precise communication is sooo important!! FYI - I have already found another tuner, who was actually tuning a piano at the time and still picked up! We had a nice conversation and scheduled an appointment. WIN!
