We deffinitely dont think there was a need as our community is fairly large and spacious. Even the building management said there is no problem. Cordell and the other companies contacted me through the Yelp app. Lightning Movers ended up being the winning team with their competitive pricing and flexible schedule! Cordell has excellent communication skills with keeping updated on times and scheduling. We had a couple of scheduling conflicts but Cordell made sure to keep me informed about everything that would affect my move. He even went above and beyond by going to the Troy location and FaceTimed me to make sure that he grabbed everything that I needed without me having to drive all the way to the site! Two guys showed up with a huge truck; took about 2 hours to load and drove the 60+ miles to my new home. I explained that I would have to leave before they finished, so I could drive back to Dearborn in the daylight (eyesight issues). That's when it all fell apart. I went back the next day to find plastic wrap strewn around the house, leaves all over the inside of the house, items left wrapped, a dirty bathroom and smoke smell. I contacted Fordson, and was told a slew of lies the worker told him; He said I told them not to enter the garage, FALSE. He said he couldn't find anywhere to dispose of the plastic wrap - THERE WAS A GARBAGE CAN IN THE DRIVEWAY NEXT TO THEIR TRUCK, I was told they aren't responsible for cleaning up after the job. I told Fordson I felt taken advantage of, being alone and older, and that his employee was lying. They made no accommodation and essentially blew me off once they were paid. My Advise: WATCH THEM EVERY MINUTE and make sure a man is around. They will lie and cheat and take advantage of a single woman. BEWARE.
