This junk removal service is fantastic! I called at 11am ish, junk gone by 1pm ish. Friendly, efficient and totally reasonable pricing. I would definitely recommend Junk Cat. Everything ran as promised. This place is 5 stars for a reason! read more

Nick came in and cleaned up our spot. The guy who wanted to do the job, called the city and they threatened to fine us. He came to us the day after i called and had everything cleaned within ours. He was totally thorough, so much so that people came to him as he was cleaning to thank him. I would recommend him to anyone who needs stuff hauled. I will post some pictures with the job that he did. It took two trips, but the money was well worth it. read more

Junk Cat gave me an estimate of $700 when 1-800-GOT-JUNK estimated $1,200 for a giant pile of wood, metal, and about 2000lbs of concrete from an old shed I tore down. Needless to say I went with Junk Cat and I was beyond pleased with their service. Sean and Nick are local guys who offer personable service versus the corporate/commercial guys. That alone made me feel great about giving them my business. They worked fast hauling the garbage from my backyard, double checked with me to make sure they got all that I asked, and even cleaned up the area afterwards. Paying was easy with my credit card which made for a simple transaction. I will DEFINITELY have them back for my next garbage haul. (Images: There was about 2x the amount of wood pictured and about 10 full trash bags they took before I could snap the first picture. They work fast!) read more

Nick and his team were able to come the next day, arrived on time and were very friendly. They removed a couch, table, file cabinets & ottoman - what a relief to have them gone! I live in an upstairs apartment and they were super attentive and conscientious not to bump other furniture, walls, the stair railing, etc. Everything went perfectly and the rate was more than reasonable. I give Junkcat my highest recommendation. read more

Excellent, friendly service! These guys work hard!! Gave us a great, fair rate and really nice people.

This is my second time using Junkcat and my second great experience with them. Scheduling was easy, communication was easy, and the substantial junk pick-up was easy. I am really happy with the whole experience. read more

They respond quickly and work very fast. I will call them again when needed. I had a difficult time finding a good hauler, but these guys came through. read more

Excellent, speedy, professional, clean group. Owner was responsive and his team was very helpful. Would use again!

Nick is one of those people you wish were running your life. First of all, he is kind--big in my book. He is a fair and generous employer, paying for health insurance for his crew. He is accommodating and patient, agreeing to a last-minute request for a day and time change. He comes prepared after asking detailed questions on the type and quantity of things to remove. He is cautious and lawful, saying he could not remove junk as requested/paid for by me on behalf of my somewhat reluctant hoarder uncle and his wife without uncle/aunt's full approval (at one point, I thought of clearing stuff while uncle was out, but Nick dissuaded this plan). He is impeccable about time, calling me when he left his office and when he was just a few minutes away, wanting to ensure he didn't arrive before I did to the property. Nick is a superhero of junk removal: maybe the next Avenger? Moved at a speed I could barely keep up with, he was cautious about confirming what we wanted gone and specifically asked when he came upon something that he thought we might still want. His organization and clear instruction to his crew were amazing. Not one minute was lost. He left the house swept of dirt and debris (who does that?). He didn't flinch when a rat jumped up at him while removing a pile of 5 foot books/clothing/junk (said he's seen worse). Before they swept, Nick went to his truck and brought back haz-masks for my uncle, aunt, and me; he didn't want us breathing the dust. Who does that? Sadly, Nick doesn't know how long he can sustain his business. He often doesn't even net minimum wage from his jobs (that most of us think way too expensive). It is extremely competitive, the junk business. Health insurance and marketing alone cost him $100 k/year. Hire Nick!!! You will not regret it!!! He is my hero. read more

Junk Cat had great communication and got here on time. They were a great help with getting rid of our junk. If we need more junk removal we will use their services again! read more

They are the best! My wife and I use them religiously to help pick up and clear clutter that accumilates over time. They are always prompt to respond to us and always on time. They've got the best price in town too (1800 junk is WAY OVERPRICED!!!). Use Junkcat!!!! read more

Had a great experience with Junkcat. Able to schedule quickly and the guys cleared out a whole wall's worth of mostly empty cardboard boxes and some misc junk from the garage very quickly and efficiently, and swept the floor too. Very pleased. read more

Nick, Jamie, and Shane did an excellent job at my San Pablo residence. I was getting stressed with all the stuff that has piled up over the years in my garage and the ever growing junk pile that grew towards the end of our move. They got it all done in approximately an hour and at a very fair price! I would highly recommend to anyone in the bay because they get the job done. read more

Fabulous service, at an excellent price. Thank you Nick! Nick answered my call, and gave me a same-day quote (better than others), and came by the next day to haul everything away. We couldn't be happier. read more

Junkcat was professional and timely from start to finish. I put in a request requesting a quote for my washer removal . We were able to get a pickup scheduled within 30 minutes for the same day. The price was fair and reasonable. They were at my door and ready to work. When they arrived, they were both wearing masks and gloves. The team of two who came out to get the washer were friendly and punctual. The whole thing took less than 10 minutes, and I am so happy to have my washer on the truck and out of my back yard. I would recommend JunkCat to everyone!!! They are just great... Would definitely use again, and highly recommend! It always feels good to support a local business, and I am grateful we have Junkcat available to take the pain out of junk removal! read more

Wow, great service. I had a bunch of old junk in the garage that Junkcat took away. Nick and Sean are on top of their game - fast, friendly and accommodating. Nick responded faster than any other junk hauler with an estimate, and showed up in 20min, loaded up in about 30min. There were a couple hazardous materials they couldn't take but helped me box it and told me where I could take it. Amazing. Will use this team again! read more

Needed to get rid of old, heavy, and bulky furniture. Junkcat was prompt and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Used the Yelp "request for quote" feature to get a handful of bids, and Junkcat provided the best deal. Finalized the details over the phone with Nick, confirmed schedule over Yelp message, and Nick and Shawn showed up on time the next day, on a Sunday. (2 hour window with a call 15 minutes prior to arrival.) Very courteous people. Their phone app allows them to take payment with credit card and send receipt to your email. Of course, they take cash... and you still get an email receipt. I will use them again. I would recommend to friends/family. read more

Quick turnaround time from reaching out to pickup. Arrived right at pickup time and price was exactly what was quoted based on photos I sent. Pickup was quick and smooth. read more

I need to coordinate hauling away of old furniture with the delivery of new furniture. Junkcat was responsive, arrived on time, was quick, and careful. I particularly appreciated that they kept on close contact via text, updating me on their expected arrival time. The two men were pleasant and helpful. I would absolutely use them again. read more

I used yelp to get quotes from different companies. Junkcat offered a competitive rate and was patient and courteous with all my questions. I was having old furniture removed from my second story apartment (no elevator). Everyone was professional and the job was done quick, it was nice to have an appointment time instead of one of those imprisoning time windows. I 100% recommend them and will use them again. read more

I was looking to do some spring cleaning and found Junkcat on Yelp. Nick (the owner) was very responsive via text and friendly in person. They offered a fair price but actually gave me a discount when they saw it was less stuff than initially realized. I strongly recommend and would use them again. read more

They responded within 30 minutes on a Friday afternoon. Did the job next day. Very professional. Would use them again.

Nick and his team nailed it. I called him in the late afternoon, and was able to arrange an appointment first thing the next morning. I had a refrigerator that died during the pandemic, and had food left in it for months. It was on the second floor of a building. I needed it gone, completely hassle free. Nick's team was on time, fast, professional, and they handled the issues around disposing refrigerators. The price was very fair considering the response time, the reliability, picking up a single object, and disposing of a refrigerator. I will definitely call them again. Thank you, Nick! read more

They were able to make it the same day and the owner was so positive which made the entire process easy and stress less. So fast and efficient. Very competitive pricing compared to bigger companies. Had a bunch of glass doors, plastic bins, and bedding and they took it all. Had such a great experience that I will be using them again soon. read more

We moved across the country and had a considerable amount of items that we needed to dispose of. Nick was very responsive to my inquiries, and gave a very accurate quote, which was in line with others I had requested. Any follow-up questions I had were answered within minutes. There was a glitch in his reservation system, so on the day of our scheduled pick-up, the appointment was dropped in error. When I called to inquire (since nobody showed up at the previously scheduled time), Nick apologized and quickly remedied the error by arranging to come after his regular work hours on that same day, and also gave me a discount for the inconvenience. It meant a lot that he still honored the previously arranged pickup date since we were scheduled to fly out of state two days later and had a tight timeline. I highly recommend JunkCat as their customer service both before, during, and after pick-up were handled with utmost professionalism. They made an otherwise stressful move much more smooth! read more

Responded immediately for request for estimate for removal of a sofa sleeper, loveseat & dresser w/ mirror. Estimate was $300 due to the added weight of the sleeper & disposal of the mattress. The Junkcat team was very careful & efficient in disassembling the sofa sleeper & moving it out. Would definitely use them again. read more

Fast, pleasant and easy to deal with, efficient and very reasonably priced They showed up right in the time they said, cleared all the many bits and pieces that had to go, and raised sensible questions about what I did and did not want to be cleared. Very good experience read more

Nicolas and JUNKCAT are amazing, considerate, professional and efficient. Their response time and communication was excellent. SAME DAY texts, and pick up were arranged. They double checked on the space that they had in their truck and updated me with the plan that they would first empty their load so that they would have enough space to take anything I needed them to take. Two workers arrived, quickly came in with masks on, moved stuff out and verified if we needed any more help. We needed a job done quickly as our family was stressed out- pandemic, work from home, new cancer diagnosis and upcoming surgery. We tried to give away our stuff but in this crazy pandemic time, it's not even easy to give away your extra stuff. We needed immediate help and JUNKCAT took care of us. They were also well priced, compassionate, caring and efficient. So pleased to have worked with them. Glad to work with a local business. Highly recommend to all! read more

Nick was quick to respond to my inquiry and was able to set up an appointment quickly for a quote and junk removal. His challenge was to empty a shipping container full of old mildewed furniture today and I was impressed with his "can-do" attitude and his problem-solving skills. I highly recommend Junkcat! read more

Very pleased with this company very professional and great price. Texted Nick and he returned my call the next morning and they came and picked up the stuff that afternoon. Fast service. My go to company!! read more

Absolutely top-notch professionals. Great communication, great pricing, polite and fast. They'll ask you to text a picture if possible and then make a quote. I have used craigslist haulers in the past and #1. When you use Craigslist instead, it's anybodys guess if the stuff actually made it to the recyclers or was dumped by the road and #2. I felt like its a security issues to have randos just know where you live and what you've got. Junkcat is a legitimate business with roots in the community and a long reputation of good citizenship, so I felt much more peace of mind. I had a bunch of stuff for the land fill, a broken footstool, a couple of floorlamps and a full size bed, frame, and boxspring. These object needed to be out of my life, but I drive a compact! What to do? Call JUNKCAT, thats what. After texting the serice, they offered me an appointment window for the very next day (on Thanksgiving week too!) I sent the photo and received a very fair quote, and they arrived promptly and finished the work quickly. At the end, he offered me the option a receipt via text, which he sent over before he even got to the driveway. They were incredibly focused on the work. It feels great to have the junk gone and know that its being disposed of responsibly while also supporting a local business. read more
