Fast! Friendly! AND Affordable! I would absoultey use Nick over and over again. Same Day service. So pleased. Thanks Nick and Team.

I've used Junkcat three times over the last five years, and every time it has been a consistently great experience.

I moved to the Bay Area in 2008. Since then I've had a family of four in a 4-bedroom townhouse, moved through five apartments, and had over 8 different roommates. I've never really had a lot of time to pare down when moving and I've mostly just hauled everything from one place to another. I'm now leaving the Bay and have to get rid of all of the junk I've accumulated. It's essentially a three bedroom apartment and three storage units. It took me three weeks, five hours per night, to sort out what was worth saving. Turns out, not much. I don't even recognize most of it and over half of it is either cheap furniture that won't make the move or stuff that is just not even mine. I filled an entire 12'x16' room with stuff and tagged all of the furniture that needed to go. Called on Sunday. Texted them photos. Got a fantastic quote that was well explained. They were there Tuesday morning. Busted their butts to get 12 cubic yards of junk in 3.5 hours. Took payment via card on the spot. And left me a wonderfully empty apartment. Everything went smooth as butter. 12/10. Would recommend. read more

On time. Nice. Quick. True to estimate. And took a literal and figurative load off my back in under 20 minutes. Thank you Junkcat! I'd add a photo but the junk was gone so quickly I didn't get a chance to take a picture (visualize ~40 garbage bags filled with random junk) read more

Responsive, great price, speedy and professional junk pick up. Great experience with the Junk Cat team. Will definitely call them when we clean out the garage. read more

Every so often I decide to finally do some cleaning having lived in my house for 20 years and when I do that I call Junkcat to deal with the mess. This time around included tons of palm fronds from the recent storms, but lots of gross old stuff. Anyway, I highly recommend these guys, they came the next day after I called (on a Sunday) and from my perspective at least, are reasonably priced. Trust me you will feel relieved when your junk is gone. read more

Junkcat - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me

I am emptying my two-car garage. I was filling all the cans, making regular trips to the recycle center, taking loads to the dump and Goodwill. Then we pulled things on to the driveway. I am sure the neighbors did want to see it there. I needed to call a hauler to take it away. I am so glad I called Junkcat. Nick was a pleasure to work with. He and his company recycle what they can. The price was more reasonable than the company that fills the airways with their ads just point and it disappears. There is a surcharge if you use a credit card Will I use them again? Heck yeah, I only emptied 1/2 of the garage read more

They were outstandingly polite and did the work swiftly. Then they made sure to clean up after the fact. Our garage had alot of other thing near the junk pile but Sean (?) made sure he didn't accidentally throw anything else away. One of my favorite parts was the practical and efficient way they sent my quote. Over the phone, In a few pictures they gave me complete answers. Other companies in the process just kept pushily telling me they could save me more money. I'm not going to lie, I could probably have gotten a cheaper but I couldn't of gotten a better experience. Thank you Junk Cat, I'll probably be calling y'all in a month for a Jacuzzi I need removed. read more

Very happy with them. Gave me a quote right away, based on photos I sent them, for removing household junk. Came the next day (on a Sunday) ready to work. Super friendly and it was literally I pointed and they took it. I underestimated what I needed to have removed and I neglected to mention that the bulk of the stuff was 100+ feet from the street. They honored the quote and we're gone in under two hours. Very professional and courteous. I would hire them again. I gave them a big tip! read more

I would definitely hire JunkCat again. Nick's team had the fastest response to my Yelp query and the lowest price. Plus they were able to come out to remove my old, heavy sleeper sofa from an upstairs apartment with just one day's notice. And they offered to text me the receipt from the dump so I would know that the sleeper sofa had been properly disposed of. Nick, Yves, and Sean were professional, quick to disassemble and remove the sofa bed, and so nice! Five stars. read more

Nick and Eve did a great job for a surprisingly low price. No runaround with them, unlike the contractor who talked a good game but didn't get beyond step 1. N & E did an unpleasant job, removing contaminated debris, fast---and safely for all concerned. And they were pleasant to deal with! Treated the customer as someone they can trust reasonably. NOT someone to put a disempowering-me, super-empowering-the contractor, contract in my face. Then say, or all but say: sign, with no changes, or no go. That's the opposite of Nick and Eve's fine M.O. ---Alan read more

I contacted them through the Yelp request a quote, and I received a response within minutes. For $175, they took a 7' high bookcase, an oak student desk; a 3' high bookcase and a 6' long wooden foldable table. Our cars were parked outside, and they were careful not to scratch the cars as they moved the furniture out of the garage. Scheduling was easy. Initially, they could do the same day, but I didn't respond right away so the slots filled up. I had to schedule for the next day. Fortunately, they called later and were able to fit me into the schedule. They are professional and courteous. read more

Nick and Sean took great care of us. We didn't have much to be rid of but they were able to get to us earlier than scheduled (after confirming) and were friendly and all action. Remember the purr-ple truck and call that number if you need help making items go away. 100% fair and solid. read more

Super fast and easy service. I had a small load of household trash that needed pickup. Junkcat responded within minutes to my request and were at my location and done with clearing everything out in less than an hour from when I first contacted them. Talk about exceptional service... I can't say enough about Junkcat. I talked with Junkcat on Wednesday and by Friday they were there to clear out 50 years worth of stuff from our 97year old Auntie's basement. And I'm talking about stuff! I originally texted photos and got a preliminary quote. They showed up with truck and ready to work. All cleared within 3 hours. Also there were a few collectibles that we needed to find in all of the stuff - they found them for us. I highly recommend this company. It was well worth the money spent. read more

I highly recommend this service. They were very accommodating with my schedule. I needed some assorted junk moved prior to having som crawl space removed and they were flexible even at the last minute. Also quick and swept up afterwards. The price seemed fair too! read more

I needed some old furniture removed, so I went on yelp and had several companies around me give me a quote. The Junk Cat responded super fast and had very competitive prices. All the scheduling and everything was done on Yelp messenger which was very convenient. They called 20 minutes before they arrived, came, and took my couch away. The entire time even though I was paying them to throw away my furniture they were very respectful of it and made sure I was ok with the entire move. They were super-efficient and friendly. I have zero complaints and will recommend and use them in the future. I paid with a check and they sent me a receipt before they left. Awesome guys! read more

Quick reply, nice people, fair price , job done . ( Yelp asks 33 more characters for review so I hope this sentence makes it for that ).

I've used their service twice now and found them to be very responsive from the time of scheduling to pick up. The team is courteous and when moving big items is careful not to damage the surroundings. Highly recommend and will definitely be calling them back to get rid of more junk! read more

I just had Nick and crew from Junkcat clear out under my deck and remove an old broken heavy fountain. They were everything these other five star reviews say, and more. They were even nice to the snake that hissed at them from a pile of rotting wood! Do understand that they cannot take hazmat items (tanks, chemicals, paint, etc) due to legal restrictions by county. Call these folks first! You will not regret it! read more

My experience with Junkcat was professional and timely from start to finish. I received a call a few hours after requesting a quote for my mattress removal -- it's a heavy, cumbersome latex mattress that I was not looking forward to disposing of myself. We were able to get a pickup scheduled a few days out, and when I needed to reschedule for a few days later (with more than 48hr notice), it was no problem at all. The team of two who came out to get the mattress were friendly and punctual. They gave me a call about 20 minutes out from their arrival. When they arrived, they were both wearing masks and considerate enough to wipe their feet on my doormat every time they came in and out. The whole thing took less than 10 minutes, and I am so relieved to have my old mattress out of here! It always feels good to support a local business, and I am grateful we have Junkcat available to take the pain out of junk removal! read more

I can only say I am amazed about how Junkcat operates. I contacted them using their online form, attached a couple of pictures from the things we needed to be removed, and in 5 minutes I got a call from them. Brief conversation about the things to be taken, pricing, and they arrived in 45 minutes from that call. Yep, you read it right! From the moment I contacted them to the moment our things were gone was less than 1 hour !!!! Very reasonable price and 6 stars for efficiency and transparency ! read more
