Make sure to discuss with them that they will provide all bags and protective gear for their workers from the start (they were a little unprepared at the beginning). Even when he realized the work was a little more than he earlier anticipated (we walked the house together before on agreeing to a price) he didn't try to renegotiate or walk away. He asked for modest and fair progress payments along the way to pay for his dump fees and worked hard with a crew over several days, late into the night to meet his deadline.
