i found the "Junk Squad " on Yelp while looking for someone to haul away a huge pile of tree branches from my yard. I called and "Doug" answered. After I explained my removal request, Doug said he could be at my house in about 2 hours. About 1 hour later, Doug texted me he was on his way. Wow, what great customer communication and service. Total scam and rip off artists, masters of the bait switch. Stay clear! I hired them to clean out an apartment. They said the final price would be determined when the they get there. I told them specifically they needed to be here on a specific date so the cleaners could get complete access. He showed up with a truck almost half full, the apartment needed a full truck, he quoted me $460 for the entire apartment, but after he could not load anymore on the truck, he said he would be back tomorrow, I said, I can't, I said it needs to get done today. And then he said it would be another $600.00 when he comes back. To make matters worse, when I was not looking, he took a box of valued antiques glassware clearly labeled, my fault for not catching this, so they stole from me as well. He then drove off quickly, and I didn't realize what he taken until it was too late. We called them several times to bring the box back. One minute he said he dumped it, another he said he has it. The person changed his story about five times. As of now, family air looms were taken for the sake of theft and profit. I then called The College Hunks who I used for moving services that morning. They came out in a few hours, quoted me a price and delivered everything in two hours for a fair price, and told me what it should have cost, compared to what they charged. They stole and lied to me.
