So, I had been looking around for someone to come and pick up all the crap that was in my backyard. Not owning a truck makes things difficult. I was having a wake for my uncle at my house on saturday, and I needed to get rid of it all. I called up Junk Master on thursday hoping that I could get him to come out either thurs or fri. I told him how much it would be, and he gave me a fair estimate, although I guess there was some confusion on both of our parts. I had thought I told him about an old lazy boy that needed to go, but I may have been wrong. Our appointment was set for friday morning, and at about 9:10, I received a call letting me know that he was going to be a little late due to traffic. Our appointment wasnt until 9:30. I respect a business that will let you know the moment theyre going to be late. Seeing as I was listening to the radio at the time, and knowing 101, I already figured he would be late. Props for calling ahead of time though. When he got here, he gathered up all my crap that was already piled up, and tossed it into his truck. When he saw that he had to take the lazy boy, he called and let me know that the lazy boy was extra. Something about how bulky it was, which I understood, but thinking that Ihad told him about it, I was confused. lol. Things ended up working out great though. He didnt overcharge me like most places would have. With a place like this, youre paying for convenience, and thats EXACTLY what you get from these guys. Very polite, and fast working. If youre looking for someone to haul away all that crap thats sitting in your garage/backyard/house, I would suggest calling Junk Master up. Theyve also got a $30 off coupon on their page as well as one off a 10% off a full truck load. Saving you a few bucks, and still doing the job the way it SHOULD be done. Big thumbs up. If I have anymore junk that needs to be cleaned up, I will FOR SURE call them again. Kudos, and I hope your business thrives for many years! read more

Brian runs a tight ship I needed some things taken out from the house since we moved in so gave him a call He came within 20 minutes, gave us an estimate and finished the job within 20-25 minutes Reasonably priced and very professional, I would recommend him any time you need to clean some junk out of the garage or backyard read more

Thank you Brian! Hire this guy! Thank goodness for Yelp. My husband was going to call a big name junk place, and found Brian. He came to meet us. Took a look at our stuff, quoted a VERY reasonable price and started putting junk in the truck immediately. Not everything fit, so he came back later to take the rest. Then we had another minor pick up, and he got that too. We were moving and under a tight deadline. He was friendly, professional, reliable and fast. His prices are low and reasonable. If you are moving or have another junk related situation, do not hesitate to call Brian. We will be hiring him again. read more

Brian is awesome. It was Saturday and I was moving out of my apartment and I needed to get rid of a large TV out of my apartment by Sunday morning. I called Brian on Saturday and he was able to swing by my apartment on Sunday morning and take away my TV. Brian doesn't work on Sunday but he understood that I needed help. I was impressed that he was willing to come over on his day off, he was on time and his rates were very fair. Junk Master is very reliable and their rates are fair. Give them a call. read more

I chose Junk Master from reading the other Yelp reviews and all the 5 star reviews were right on! Brian, the owner, was friendly, professional, prompt and provided great service. He cleaned the junk out of my apartment very fast & charged me what I thought was a great price. Brian will meet you at the site, take a look at what needs to be done, then give you an estimate. And if you're satisfied with the price he'll get right to work for you. I called Brian yesterday and he got the job done today. I will definitely use his servcies again. read more

A perfect score. Brian was punctual, polite and the price was fair. He and his helper were very careful removing the furniture I hired him to take, making that the walls and doors were not scratched. I would not hesitate about calling him in the future. update-Usually the third time is the charm. Not in this case. A no show for a scheduled pickup, no explanation, no returned calls to try reschedule. No thanks. read more

Brian is fantastic and runs a superb business. He brings strong moving support and they do an incredible job. I hired Brian and Martine to help me pick up some furniture (bed, huge sofa, dining table, etc). The move required carrying these VERY heavy pieces down THREE floors of TIGHT staircases. They somehow managed this feat with no complaint and great professionalism. There was the tiniest scuff on the end of the bed frame, which Brian fixed with a furniture pen. He did not charge me for the extra time and let me keep the pen at no charge. The furniture is all 100% perfect now and the move was VERY affordable. I can't recommend Brian enough! read more

If you need junk removed, Brian and Junk Master are the people to use. Plain and simple, this company is fast, prices very reasonable, and the whole transaction was hassle free. We had bought a new couch and needed to get rid of the old one + a few items (large fishtank, broken game table, rusted bbq, old chairs, etc) and didn't have a truck to move them. I had looked into taking it all to the dump but that would require us to rent a UHaul so I went to Yelp to get a few estimates. 10am - Called another company, Set an appointment for three days later. Really? 10:15 - Called Brian - Said he was really busy but could stop by later in the afternoon to give me an estimate. 12:30 - I am running an errand when he calls me. While driving back I called him and give him permission to look on the side of my house so that I can get an estimate. The price was lower than I had anticipated so I told him to start working. 1:15 - Arrive home to Brian and another man loading up his truck. 1:30 - My house is clean I was incredibly pleased by Junk Master and the whole transaction. I will recommend and use this company for all of my future waste removal needs. read more

JunkMaster is AMAZING!!! My husband & I originally had a quote from (let's say it rhymes with Junk Ding) for over $600! Brian at JunkMaster did the job for less than HALF that price! We threw him for a loop with all the old concrete & bricks that we needed to remove, but he did it with a smile! He's fast too! The other hauling company claimed they couldn't start the work until today, meanwhile Brian was already hauling off the last of it! And talk about polite! This guy owns his own business (franchise I assume) & is still down to earth and...NORMAL! Some guys that own their own business are stuck on themselves.. Not this one! I only rated 5 stars because Yelp doesn't offer more... If I could I'd rate JunkMaster 7 stars! read more

I was downsizing from a good size home to a smaller apartment, which meant that I needed to get rid of STUFF. After several weeks of purging my closets and rooms I found myself overwhelmed with junk. Soon after the junk started to pile up in the garage and the trash followed. At the end of my move my garage had become the dumping ground for anything and everything. My boyfriend is a huge yelper and encourages me to yelp a business before I make decisions on where to eat or visit a business. As soon as I mentioned I needed help cleaning out my garage he had a listing of local businesses up for me to review. Junk Masters had the best ratings, so I did what any good yelper would do. I called them and Brain set up a time to meet right away. He was on time for our appointment, was friendly, and went above and beyond my expectations. The price was reasonable for the amount of trash and junk he hauled away. He finished the job within 2 hours and did an awesome job. He left my garage CLEAN! I mentioned Yelp and he gave me a $40 discount on my bill. I highly recommend Junk Master for your future clean up work. read more

Dealt directly with the owner, Brian, who was very pleasant and professional. I had allowed a pile of cardboard and other junk to pile up, and just needed to have it hauled away. This is the type of service that I will use again. Way more efficient than taking it to the dump myself. I called at 2pm and had my driveway cleared by 4:15pm the same day. read more

Fine. I'll raise it slightly to 2.5 stars because there was an attempt at acknowledging and apologizing for my bad experience and an offer at a refund. read more

Junk Master! A whole hell of alot better than Junk King. With their professional behavior, reliability and reasonable pricing. I wish this company all the best because they ARE the best! read more

I chose Junk Master from yelp reviews and they are aboslutely correct in giving them a 5 star review! Great service, great job, very dependable and very reasonable price! Brian quoted me to clean out my mom's house and it ended up taking him 3 trips to the dump. He needed to come back to get the 3rd load the next day and promised he'd come back. His word was good as he came back the next day and took the balance of the stuff we had. I would recommend Junk Master (Brian) to anyone. read more

Like many, over the phone, he sounded professional and reliable. I had a small amount of rubbish to be picked up. "Let me call you back"........................................................................................ I am still waiting...even after I left him a voice mail giving him a second option for time and date. His price was the lowest quote I received. So was the service. Update: Brain reached out to me (after he saw the posting) and made it right. Great costumer service...let's just hope, next time, we get all of the ducks in a row. :) read more

My mom recently moved from san mateo to redwood city and there was a ton of junk in her garage ( old refrigerator, washing machine, carpet, etc.) that had to go fast. I had been referred to the junk master and by 3 o'clock in the afternoon the next day, the garage was empty ( plus everthing i put out on the dog run) . The garage was also swept out and looked brand new. THe junkmaster was extremely punctual, polite, and hard working. read more

I called Brian and he was able to come out just a couple of days later to remove an old metal shed with rotten wood floor along with some other junk we'd accumulated in the backyard. He arrived early, got right to work, sawed the shed into pieces, and hauled everything away. It was all done in less than 2 hours at a good price. Brian was very professional and is a general contractor, too. We would definitely consider using him for future construction projects as well as hauling. read more

We had just cleared out our storage and had a lot of stuff to get rid of. The Salvation Army said they would take a lot of our stuff, but wound up not taking the slightly used entertainement centers, sofa andf recliner. All of this was already out in the driveway. After reading the reviews on Yelp, Brian looked to be a good bet. I called in the early afternoon expecting to have to make an paoointment for later this week, or next week. However, he said he woudl try to come by the same afternoon. He showed up at the time he hoped to come by, had very reasonable prices and was finished quickly. We highly recommend him for hauling anything away. read more

Brian is reliable and very professional. He provides good service in a reasonable price. I am a returning customer and would highly recommend him & his company for any hauling services, big or small. read more

Brian absolutely amazed me in his professionalism and exemplary customer service when I needed someone to haul my tree debris and yard waste out of my front and back yard. You see, I am a first time home-owner and I hadn't the faintest idea who to call for junk removal. My mother found a guy who offered to do it for a ridiculous amount so I turned to yelp for referrals. I called junk master and they immediately set up an appt for the next day. Brian showed up promptly at the appt. but I found out that my mother was 30 mins late herself so nobody opened the door for Brian. I called him back and apologized but he was so nice to offer to come back in the afternoon. He quoted me a super competitive price for the job and I had my friend give him the money when they were finishing the job while I was out of town. I must say, when I came back, I was pleasantly surprised by the superb job Junk Master had done and they left the place totally clean and a happy me =) I would hire Brian again and recommend Junk Master to friends. read more

Junkmaster did its job in moving some furniture and removing some junk. The owner agreed to move additional things that I didn't tell him beforehand as long as I paid extra (which is of course reasonable for him to ask). However, even though he agreed, he did not follow through immediately. I asked him to move some things to the East Bay to my family member, which he agreed. I found out from my family member that night that he did not go, and yet he did not bother to call to inform me. I called him and he told me he would do it the next day. My family member called the next day and I found out he still did not go so I called him again. Eventually he did go, but he had to make the comment that East Bay is too far. I wasn't happy with the fact that he did not call me to inform me about not going to East Bay twice; I had to find out from my family member. Furthermore, if he did not want to go to Easy Bay in the first place, he could've just told me when I asked him. Another side comment: the movers also did not handle my brand-new plastic box with care; some plastic pieces broke off the box. I understand that the box was heavy and it was probably an accident, but still, the movers were supposed to be professional. Basically, I wouldn't ask for Junkmaster's service ever again for its so-so customer service. read more
