Bought a new house within the past 90 days, and the people who remodeled it before I purchased left a ton of general debris behind. I called yesterday afternoon to see if I could get a quote on getting the leftover materials hauled away, as well as my old moving boxes, and I was told (by the incredibly friendly scheduler) that my job would be better quoted with an on-site visit. He asked me ahead of time if it would be okay if they gave me a quote and if I accepted they got to work immediately, there was no pressure either way and I was free to schedule at a later date if needed. I told the guy on the phone that yes, they could start immediately. Anyways, they had an appointment open for today for the 8a-10a window, and at 915 this morning, I got a call that they were pulling up shortly. I showed them everything, and they broke down how pricing works, and it seemed incredibly fair, so I said yes, and we moved forward. They were in and out in 45 minutes, which was incredible seeing as they had so many stairs to work with! Highly recommend this company. Very professional, prompt, responsive, and made themselves readily available for questions should I need to ask. I can't say enough good things about Junk Kings. From my initial phone call with Teresa at the main call center to the gentlemen who came to my house for the pick up, it was above and beyond great customer service. I'd wanted to purchase the $49 Living Social coupon I'd seen, however when I called Teresa to discuss the details in doing so, I realized the $49 coupon special had sold out already. Teresa suggested perhaps asking the owner if he would honor the coupon, in spite of it being sold out. She did and he did! I was so grateful for Teresa doing this for me, but I was a little wary of whether the person coming to pick up my items would be aware of this arrangement. However, the two men who arrived on 11/25/15 knew about the $49 special and when I explained that the owner and Teresa had arranged to honor the $49 price without me purchasing the Living Social coupon, they understood, picked up my stuff, I paid and that was it! I was extremely pleased with these gentlemen. They were prompt, courteous and very careful not to damage anything. I had them pick up a futon from a tiny front room that was very difficult to get out of the room because of the layout of the door and the hallway. I figured the frame would have to be either disassembled or busted up. The two young men took their time, were extremely careful and managed to get the frame out of the room and out of the house without having to take it apart or break it. I was REALLY impressed. We needed some dirt/clay removed for a project we were working on in my dad's backyard. We needed it done during the week we would be there. I found Junk King online and called. They were able to accommodate us right away. We got Blake and his brother Brisson. They were very nice young men. They were very hard workers and very respectful. They were able to remove all the dirt we needed removed. We had more dirt than we thought and Junk King was able to send back both Blake and Brisson to finish the job. Your two guys took on a big challenge removing an old very big cabinet BIG screen t.v. from an apartment down a steep and narrow staircase. The two men tried several angles that didn't work. I was afraid they were going to give up. But they didn't. They took the time to unassemble parts from the cabinet to make the trip downstairs. They were professional, methodical, focused and hardworking in clearing the apartment as requested. They also removed furniture from the garage and items from the basement. They did a great efficient job and I would not hesitate to give them an excellent rating in all aspects. read more

Had a 35 year old giant water heater in the basement. It was there when I bough this house 25 years ago. Probably a 75 gallon tank, full of 30 year old lime. I tried getting it out myself, no go. I tried with my son, no go. It's a house that is over 100 years old. Small basement with small steps and small landing. I called Junk King. I figured they might come look and say, never mind. I had a deadbeat contractor (Don Smith...please steer clear of this crook) not pay for a dumpster on one of my jobs. The dumpster company came to pick up there dumpster and since it was full they emptied it on my front yard because it was not paid for. The township filed a claim and the board of health got involved. Junk King came in and cleaned the pile of trash up in just 4 hours and left it looking better than it has looked in a while. Love the Junk King. I needed to get rid of a refridge and was having a hard time finding a company to move it (fre-on disposal), but they came in and removed it with not problem and no hidden costs. They are unbelievably clean and considerate - put booties on their shoes and even the wheels of the cart they used as not to dirty my carpet. My knights in shining armor. Basement had flooded, an overwhelming amount of wet heavy stuff destroyed. One call and they came the same day, took a look at the amount of stuff, gave me a price (not an estimate, but a price) that was so reasonable I thought I might cry, set themselves to work and work hard they did. I've used Junk King a few times previous to this most recent job, but this one was particularly tough. Two truck loads from a large marble bath tear-out, all hauled out of the house by Junk King folks.
