I am furious at this company. I have ordered over 5 dumpsters in the past 2 month so I can give a pretty good assessment on how they conduct business. The window they give me was from 9 to 11 am on the drop off. Twice the dumpsters were dropped off well after 3 PM and this was counted as a day. I have 2 guys I'm paying by the hour doing demo with nowhere to dump it. I brought it to Keegan's attention and he could careless. His response was "well an extra day is only 10 bucks". I'm sure if employees showed up to work at 3 PM they wouldn't be getting paid for the full day. My client called to say she wasn't happy with the drop off time and it shouldn't be counted as a day. Keegan said she would be given an extra day but they showed up at 6:30 AM. The people running this place have no concept of work hours in a day. Last week it was the same thing the dumpster was supposed to be dropped off at 11 AM at the latest it showed up at 3:30, I was busting up concrete and the guy I paid to be there was standing there because he had nowhere to take the dumpster. The Lady they had answering the phone called me on a Sunday night because she didn't know what address to send the dumpster to after all the information had been given to her including the CC information. Then after the Dumpster 4 hours late Keegan calls me to say it couldn't be delivered till the terms and conditions were signed. That might have been valuable information to know on one of the 3 times I called to find out when the dumpster was arriving. I know things are busy right now. I give small businesses a break because I'm a small business myself. I go out of my way to use the smaller companies, but when someone treats my clients wrong, I take it very personal. I had an appointment for junk removal from my back yard this morning at 0800 (I live less than a mile away from their office); I called at 0815 and was told that they would be at my house in approximately 20 minutes, which is unacceptable due to my work schedule which I had already altered to accommodate the appointment; I was offered a reschedule, however I was refused a discount. The perfect solution to my issue. We had a a few large items that we couldn't throw out in our dumpster, I messaged a few places and junk control answered first, asked all the right questions and gave a reasonable quote fitting to the situation I was in. I disposed of a couch, a very heavy fitness bike (from the second floor) a freezer that broke years ago and a chair that too was broken. For all these and recycling fees they took 230. Which I think is reasonable for the labor. They made an appointment for 2 days out with a delivery window of 2 hours. They arrived on time end called when they were on the way. I had an old drier that no longer worked. I do not have time to fix it. So I called around looking for a company to haul it away. Everyone was charging over $100 to haul a single drier away except Junk Control. They charged me $60. They also promised to pick up my drier the very next day. All the other companies are several days off. Today, a gentleman, Antioco, who refers to himself as "the green eyed monster" came and took my old drier away. If you're looking to remove junk or landscape from your home I'd suggest looking elsewhere to avoid hidden fees they tack on. Used this company for a yard clean up, ordered the dumpster that didn't have a ton of regulations with it i.e weight restrictions etc, specifically went over what we would need for our job. Ordered the dumpster, completed the work but had our pick up date rescheduled due to the company not having enough people to pick it up, which really isn't acceptable but we dealt with it and didn't cause a stink over it. They finally came to get it and bam next thing you know we have extra charges on our account, when questioned as to why all of a sudden it "weighed too much" and "it had bushes in it" I assure you there were not bushes and when explained what the job was they stated there was not weight restriction on the unit, then they tried to say that's not what was ordered, well that's your fault we stated what was needed and you recommended a specific unit and outlined the regulations of which were followed, then you want to turn around and charge extra fess, its honestly a scam to me and I will let anyone I know who needs dumpster service to look elsewhere. I rented previously from republic services and the fee was the fee there were not other added charges, hidden fees, I'll go back to using them! I wouldn't recommend using this company to anyone!
