Today I disassembled an old murphy bed from the previous owner of the home I bought here in Henderson and was left with a pile of wood and metal parts laying around. With no idea on how best to remove all of this, I jumped online to find a junk removal service. After calling a couple of junk services, which quoted me some crazy rates, I called Mike at Gone Junkin and he was able to help me quickly and at a great rate. Not only was Mike able to have a truck sent to my address in less than 30 minutes from when I called him, but he also quoted me a rate that was the least expensive then anyone else I called that day. So after 25 minutes, Mike and his team at Gone Junkin arrived and quickly removed all of my disassembled murphy bed. I recently had the not-so-fun task of figuring out how to get rid of my mom's 35-year-old waterbed. She finally decided it was time to switch to a regular mattress, but the problem was, draining a waterbed isn't something a lot of folks know how to do in 2024. That's where Mike comes in. Not only was he able to get the bed drained in under 90 minutes, he was able to get the very heavy pure oak bed itself disassembled and removed. And when that was done, he vacuumed up her bedroom to get rid of 35 years of dust, dander and hair from three different cats (and one dog) she's had over the years-- stuff that got trapped behind this impossible to move bed. When he was done, her room looked almost as spotless as it did when she bought the house. Through it all, Mike was easy to communicate with and reasonably priced-- not to mention just a super nice guy. Not surprisingly, someone this good is also pretty busy, which means it might take a minute to get an appointment. But even then, he worked with me to get my mom's bed drained ASAP, and then we set up another appointment to remove it and a few other items around her house.
