This is our first school year at Juniper by already feel like part of the family. My son receives speech therapy and is a full time student with necessary aid and safety. The teachers that we have encountered have been so sweet along with the safety patrol team and cross guards. I can tell they put the safety of the students first. They are very aware and alert and modify protocols as needed. I'm just a parent looking from the outside in but I've seen the principal help during drop off and pickup. That speaks volumes ! She could be in her AC office but instead helps and fills the gaps. Looking forward to seeing my son grow and learn here. read more

Juniper Primary is North County's hidden treasure. My daughter loves her first year here. She has lots of sweet friends around her when I pick her up. She loves her teacher Mrs. De Young. The staff is noticeably caring. The Principal is visibly involved. My daughter is learning as much here as her friends at the more expensive private schools. She's way ahead of the curve. There is a noticeable sense of community spirit. I've never seen more enthusiastic Christmas caroling than when the faculty, the students and their families sang together in the morning in the school yard last year before Christmas break. I'm really happy my 6 year old goes to this school. Whenever we drive by it she rolls down the window and yells "I love my school!" What more could I ask for. read more

Every aspect of this school has been superb from teachers to volunteers and staff. The school does a wonderful job hosting activities and functions for the whole family to enjoy and feel welcome and part of the ECS family. Since deciding to join this school, my family has also joined the Escondido Christian Church family and we have been accepted and loved with open arms. My daughter was so distressed from things, false accusations, she was vomiting and had PTSD. Because the Principle decided to take the child's fabricated stories due to length of time there. Disgustingly, he believed the child when the child accused me, of harassment. I am a strong Christian and have been an educator(now retired) for years. This was so telling. Please pray, seek out your Pastor, before considering this school.
