They sound insulated my car for reducing road noise. I am happy with the results. Price was not the most expensive or most cheap quote when I shopped around. This modification is worth it if your car has lots of road noise and your car has excellent speakers. I can hear my subwoofer better. The lows sounds deeper. This review is long overdue. Like seven years overdue. We took our Ford excursion to juniors for a pretty significant left, I can't remember exactly how high. We also purchased tires and rims. My husband got exactly exactly what he wanted. He was very impressed with all the options and communication from the staff. Fast-forward to seven years later. My husband replaced the tires (not purchased at juniors) and I'm not sure why. We were having an issue with the tires rubbing in the wheel wells making a horrible noise so we went to juniors to see if they could help us cut out the wheel wells so that the tires would not rub. I took the truck and spoke with the owner, he was able to look me up by my last name and find the work he had previously done in the system. I asked him for a quote and he kindly replied that there would be "no charge". I was beyond flabbergasted, especially in a time like this where everything cost a fortune. I found Junior's on Apple Maps in 2022 and I'm so glad! I brought in my Kia Optima to install a Kenwood excelon touch screen with Car play, a backup camera, and a forward camera. The work was excellent and the customer service just as good. Junior personally talked me through it and got me all set up. Later I needed a minor adjustment on the tilt mechanism and he took care of it right away. I was so pleased that later, in early 2023, I brought in my 2nd gen Tacoma. I had Junior put in a 10 inch kenwood with ALL the bells and whistles, a backup camera built into a new tail gate latch handle, new speakers and tweeters in the front doors and sound-enhancing material in the doors! Also, new high/low beam bulbs (the best!) on that note: I had bought new headlights from somewhere else (shoulda got em here) and I tried to put the new bulbs in myself, couldn't do it right so I showed up without an appointment and he took care of it within an hour and charged me nothing! Please make an appointment tho!!! This man and his team work hard!! I found myself in a bit of a tricky situation. While attempting a DIY installation of a dash camera in my car, I removed the A-pillar cover to route some wiring. However, putting that cover back turned out to be way harder than I anticipated. I ended up taking the car over to Junior's without an appointment and asked if he could help me out. He called one of his mechanics, who spent over 30 minutes working on it and finally managed to get the cover back in place. Junior kindly refused to accept any payment for the help. Supporting local businesses is key to growing our communities. That being said, we recommend Centerville based Junior's Car Stereo. The photos are from my 2011 Nissan 370Z Touring that was rescued by Junior and his design and installation teams. For this project, we needed a complete removal of the previous unit, broken items and most importantly the wiring. The previous installation was an unmitigated disaster. Broken components, bare wires, incorrect wiring, which led to my defroster dial and mirror compass not functioning. In addition, the equalizer and speaker configuration weren't working, and the system was underpowered. UGH! Junior's staff went to work and started by doing a complete demo of the system from cradle to grave. Once that was completed, they started the rebuilding of my stereo system, piece by piece. They even designed a cool, red "Z logo" cover (see hatch pic)! When Junior called me to pick up my Z I was excited to come to his shop, but I was floored after he walked me through what had been done. The system looked fabulous, but the sound knocked me out. No distortion at all, regardless of the volume, base, treble or music genre. The cost of this "Phoenix" or rising from the ashes was fair and to me worth it at any cost. Bottom line, if you're looking for a new car audio system do not look any further than Junior's Car Stereo where their professionalism and attention to detail will make your car's audio the talk of the neighborhood. Recently had a new stereo and alarm installed and it was done professionally for the value, noticed I had a seat belt indicator that was going away on my dash. So I called and junior said to bring it in and they would take a look at it. Long story short, they were having trouble clearing it due to the car was in an accident which I wasn't aware of and the seat belt module was defective and now it's working great. Not sure if the guy does good work or not. All I know is I been here like at least 3 times over the years and the guy comes up with the most outrageous prices when he doesn't want to do work for you. Compared to other stereo shops in the area he triples the price instead of saying no we don't do that here or we only install stuff you buy here. I have been going to this business for over 20 years. Less than a year ago, they recommended and installed a Kenwood deck on my harley but apparently it wasn't water resistant even though we don't have cages to protect us like cars do. It's gonna get wet. You guessed it, It got wet but the owner is not going to stand behind his product; he's going to blame the customer. He did hesitantly say he'll look at it in a month from now but that it's "probably fried." Translation, "Buy another one or go away." Great customer service, Guy. I will not be back. His team did an OEM amp bypass, retaining OEM head unit, installing an Audison DSP amp for the front stage and an Audison amp to drive the subwoofer. I came in about a month ago looking to purchase a subwoofer box for my 12 inch alpine sub. It was close to closing time and I don't remember the name of the gentleman that helped me out. He pretty much broke down how the subwoofer boxes with all the different shape and sizes, type of wood used, and interior insulation work and help with sound. Very informative and allowed me to put two different sub boxes in my trunk to see how they would fit. First box took up more than half of space in my trunk. I like the big space in my trunk and wasn't willing to sacrifice it all. Second box was a a single ported truck style angled box which didn't take up all the space in trunk. I ended up purchasing the second subwoofer box. Bigger box will sound better for a 12 inch sub the gentleman said but as I mentioned earlier. I like having space in the trunk. I didn't have the sound system installed here but the gentlemen told me if I wanted the setting to be properly set to give them a call and they would do it. I think I'll give them a call when I have time because at times the sound sounds muffled with certain songs. read more
