Had a great cut here from Emmy. She really took her time & did a good job. I recommend making an appointment but I just walked in & she just happened to be in between clients. A lot of places will cut your hair as quickly as possible but that is not the case here you can tell that they want to get it right! This place needs to learn customer service. I went in because the sign said walk-ins were ok. They asked if I had an appointment and when I said no the lady working (who was nice enough) asked the gentleman if he could fit me in and he just went "no" in a rude tone. For the people who like it short and simple: you gotta go here if you want a clean cut for a great price and first class service. For people who want detail on service, the cut, atmosphere and price: Service: I've gone to plenty of barbers and service always lacked. Either they didn't want to talk, they were disrespectful to people in the shop, impolite, or just didn't want to talk. Service here couldn't have been better. Junior conversated throughout and remained engaged. The cut: you can't get any cleaner. He knows what he's doing and doesn't take all that much time to do it. I came in with all sorts of hair and he managed to get a low fade with curls up top and everything lined up in 40 minutes. By far the best cut I've received here in AZ and anywhere else Ive been. Atmosphere: place is clean. A lot of barber shops aren't very organized or kept clean but this place's presentation was on point. Price: honestly I didn't check the price before calling for an appointment bc I don't worry about price for cuts after having been messed up too many times. Got done and only 15$ as a student and 20$ regular which is absolutely nothing for what you're getting. I've paid more for a simple line up and been nowhere near as satisfied. Overall, you have to go. I looked through all sorts for reviews trying to find a barber and no doubt I'm done looking. He is always on time, allows you to book Your appointmentahead of time which is a major plus, and he always gives an amazing haircut not to mention he's an all-around awesome guy and Is always has fun to talk to. They might be good. Heck, they might be great. I wouldn't know. Waited over 20 minutes with nothing. Finally just walked out. Seems like a nice enough place, but it is clear that this place has their clientele and if you aren't one of them then you can sit down and wait quietly. Some sort of acknowledgement of how long I would be waiting would have been grand and would have given me the opportunity to decide to stay or go. It's the middle of the day on a weekday. Seems reasonable that I, or others might be in a hurry since we are likely on a lunch break. Didn't seem to make any difference though. Barbers were all too busy having in-depth conversations with their clients. And since the owner thinks I'm wrong according to his comment... let me make it abundantly clear that I called ahead and was told to come in, walk-in. Nobody said hey we're busy and you should make an appointment or anything else. Just cone on down! We're not busy at all right now. So I did as was told. Apparently between my call and the ten minutes it took for me to arrive seven appointments rolled on in. Doubtful. You're going to keep more customers by learning service than arguing. read more
