    Dirt. Dirt. Dirt everywhere.

Straight up NASTY This place has so much potential but it's just SO dirty. We've been here 3 times over the last 3 months and it looks exactly the same every time. The woman at the front desk says they clean daily.... Laughable

I'm always on the hunt for new places to take my 1 year old and on today's rainy day we found this place! Super tucked away and a little hard to find, but we had so much fun once we got there. Surprisingly little guy lasted 2 hours which almost never happens. There is a large cafe for any snacks or drinks which is nice. There's a large playscape for older kids, a small one for toddlers, basketball court and laser tag area. Clean bathrooms, and lots of space to eat. Super super cute! Would go again.

$9 a child for admission, are they crazy?! Sorry but I would never pay that much to bring my kids here. It's basically a giant McDonald's play-place with a basketball court and a laser room, which mind you is NOT included in the ridiculous $9 cost. The laser room will run you an extra $2 per child. They sell coffee and cafeteria looking sandwiches for an outrageous price too. There's plenty of seating, in fact, there is more seating and open space than there is places for the kids to play. Bathroom is decent. You'd think there would be multiple hand sanitizing dispenser throughout the place- but not one! Gross. Thank God I carry my own in my bag! I'm only here because it's Free admission all weekend long, and it's my sons birthday on Monday. I won't be back til next year when it's a free weekend again.

(Because buying fish as pets in the same place where you buy fish as food is never a good idea. The fish are upset by it.) Though they don't look like much from the outside, they really have a large selection of all kinds of fish and sea creatures in this place. And I've never really been one to do "the fish thing" beyond having a goldfish as a kid, and it was really strange seeing stuff in real life that I'd only seen on television - a starfish, for example. It may not be exciting to you, but having never seen one before, it was pretty sweet. The guy was pretty helpful when we had a million questions. Turns out that we severely underestimated the maintenance that the fish we wanted required. (So... you're telling me that I have to regulate temperature, water pH levels, while running the bubbles and cleaning the tank? I'll stick to the shedding!) So I guess this review is here for the simple fact that they have an awesome selection, and a very helpful staff. If we were to have purchased some of the fish we liked there, I have no doubt that I would've had a great deal of support from Oceans and Seas in keeping them healthy and happy in our home.

I suggest calling the day before to check the hours before coming. We tried to walk the trail while waiting and it was closed due to flooding in the clinton river. We saw that the beginning of the trail had a massive puddle and the grass was flooded too. We would love to come back to check that out. We went inside at 12pm. One staff member was very nice and opened the door. We saw some turtles on the pathway. We went inside and saw a giant tank. There was fish, turtles, snakes, and more. There was a little play area as well with a race track, books, bones, and toys. My kids had a lot of fun running around and looking at the different tanks. They had a cute little seed station too which I thought was awesome. They had some interactive areas, one where it tells you to count the rings of wood and another to guess the wood type and smell of the item. I think this is perfect for young toddlers. I do believe older kids would love it as well. We will definitely be back with the kids and check out the trail.

They have so many interactive activities spread around the building and host fun birthday parties. I always feel bad when we are there during a birthday party - I wish they held the keeper talk in the private party room. They have a great walking path that runs along the river. A playscape is a short walk away from the center. Overall, amazing green space for walking, biking, dog walking, and birding!

That price included a ticket for my daughter and me, plus "dinner", tea, and dessert. "Dinner" for me was half a turkey sandwich with about 6 grapes. My daughter had about 8 grapes and 4 chicken nuggets. There was a desert tray on the table with cheese and crackers, a tiny rice krispie treat, a few marshmallows and gummy bears. Desert was a tiny teaspoon of vanilla ice cream with strawberry syrup. Because it's a tea party, the girls got pink lemonade in a tea cup and moms got hot tea. Elsa and Anna did a great job! They could sing very well, and were super nice to the kids. They did the best to keep them engaged and participating. The tea party was marketed to be for 2 hours, from 5pm to 7pm. I was quite surprised to to hear the announcement at 6:24 (i checked) that the party was over. Not even an hour and a half of the promised time?? That's quite a disappointment. The short tea party time, with the "dinner " that should have been advertised as hors d'oeuvres was very disappointing. If I'd paid about half the price I wouldn't complain, but over $65 for what I got was way way too much. I'd not recommend this to anyone unless the price is slashed.

The party started with all the girls getting their hair done with a tiara and fairy dust . The girls were then sent to the large closet to pick out their gown they wanted to wear to the ballroom. My husband overheard that they have over 400 dresses! The girls were then announces into the "ballroom" and seated at the beautifully set table. The girls did some fun dances, twirled around, had a mini etiquette lesson, drank their lemonade " tea " and refreshments, and then had a fashion show with their dresses! The party ended with opening of the presents and some more dancing. Before the party ended, my daughter ran up to me and said she wanted a birthday party there. This is the perfect party for a girl who wants an intimate setting with just her friends. I wish there was one closer to my house. I will keep checking their website, they said they have an Easter bunny brunch and some summer camps. It is the perfect place for a mommy-daughter outing. I loved seeing how happy my daughter was!
