So, I go from auto payments to a 4 day notice of how I have to pay before getting late fees HA. Don't bother yourself with spending $25k to $35k a year on a horribly managed place like this, nothing "luxury" about it. NO security whatsoever, multiple dozens of cars broken into throughout the year, homeless people living in the woods and bathing in our pool because it is unlocked, many people showing up outside of the community to use the pool and amenities we pay for. Not a single effort to get cameras placed outside in the community at the request of hundreds of residents AND Huntersville Police. Staff will do anything and everything to make more money off of you and have ZERO interest in giving solid customer service, snotty unprofessional morons know nothing about discipline and standards. Each year your rent will go up $40-$60 just because they know you won't move due to a small increase like that. 0 out of 5 stars for the money I've spent at this place. Turn and run and get yourself a house instead. Nothing is worth the headaches you'll deal with here.

Tenant family facing eviction over noise at Sailpointe at Lake Norman…read more Hi neighbors, My name is Eddie, and my family and I live in Building 9, apartment 301 at Sailpointe. We're a working family with two small children. Last month, we were shocked to receive an eviction summons. The complaint claims we "continually create noise disturbances that disrupt the peace and quiet enjoyment of other residents." But here's the thing: our direct neighbors have never had an issue with us--and they're even willing to testify on our behalf in court. In fact, they're angry that the property manager is misrepresenting their experience to support this case. When we first moved to Sailpointe, we lived on the 2nd floor. We ended up transferring to the 3rd floor because of how noisy it seemed--but once we moved, we realized the noise wasn't from the neighbors at all--it was the poor construction and soundproofing of the building. We hear every step on the shared stairwell and every creak of the wooden decking. It's the building--not our kids. We're worried that we're being singled out and pushed out simply because we have a family. We're not the only residents dealing with noise in this complex, but we seem to be the only ones being taken to court over it. We've created a flyer to share more about our story. If you've experienced anything similar here at Sailpointe, we would really appreciate hearing from you. Nice sized bedrooms and bathrooms and the vaulted ceilings,screened in patio and car ports were pluses. The office staff was fantastic and responsive and the repair service always reliable and timely. Shout out and appreciation for Lynn and Larry respectively-they really care about the residents! There were plenty of organized activities for residents if they chose to participate and the grounds were well maintained. Only recommendation/request I would have is that they replace the refrigerators with a freezer at bottom and refrigerator at top model - older people just can't bend so low to find "things." Was a tactical debacle and always required a serious search and rescue of spoiled or nearly spoiled food. We found it quite valuable that the Glens orchestrated taking the residents' large trash and recycle cans to the curbs on trash day as well as returning the empty cans to their concealed location. Last comment, the location is great - close to entertainment, quality restaurants, shopping, freeways and one exit from the hospital!

I have lived here for a little over a year, starting in a one bedroom and moving to a three…read morebedroom! The layout of both the 1 and 3 bedroom was GREAT and the apartment size is huge. The only thing about the 3 bedroom is I feel like some features in the model we were showed are different from the layout we got (laundry room size and foyer off top of my head) and I wish we were able to see our exact unit or one more similar. In my 3 bedroom, I also feel like the carpets should have been replaced from the last tenants because we are stuck with stained carpets for the remainder of our lease from the last people. We have shampooed them even after the apartment did and the stains do not come up. The neighborhood is extremely pet friendly, which we love as dog owners. The dog park COULD be awesome but unfortunately other residents do not pick up after their dogs so there is poop everywhere. We used to bring our dogs everyday but my fiancé and animals would step in feces every time so we stopped going, which is a bummer. The lake views, pathway, and canoe area is awesome! The pool is great size and usually not super busy. The back patio on both my 1 and 3 bedroom is large and awesome to sit outside on! The only thing, which this comes with lake life, is the amount of bugs you get. I do think the outside of the apartments could be pressure washed especially since there are so many trees around - the sides of the building get nasty and full of sap, pine needles, and cob webs. The windows in the apartment could be better quality - they look dirty no matter how many times you clean them and I was told the seal looks broken from a window washing company, but maintenance said they weren't so I'm not sure why they look dirty all the time. Speaking of maintenance, they are AWESOME! I have never waited more than a day tops for any of my issues and they are super nice! The fireplace is also a fantastic feature in the apartments, which I haven't seen too often around charlotte. One thing I'd change about the inside of the apartments is the popcorn ceilings - it would update the apartments pretty inexpensively! OH and add fans to the bedrooms and living rooms with lights! All in all, I think this is a great complex and apartment to live in and we see ourselves here for a while! The price is not too bad for the square footage, however, it's not super updated either like other complexes I've lived in so something to consider depending on what you're looking for!

I'm 90 years old.. I don't get out much these days but I do try to walk most every day after lunch, depending on the weather and how I feel.. it was difficult walking for me after the recent snow and cold spell we had last weekend so I didn't get to walk much this past week.. but yesterday, out of the blue, Evan and Bill showed up with shovels and shoveled a path through the ice for me so I could get to the street to walk if need be or to my car to drive.. I didn't ask for them to do that.. they apparently knew about this old man, where I lived and that I liked to take walks.. so they took it upon themselves to grab a couple of shovels and clear away all the ice in front of my apartment.. it doesn't get much better than that.. it reminds me of that old for a product on TV.. I am 10 to 15 minutes from everything that I need in my daily living. There are several grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, hospitals, urgent cares and RESTAURANT. JUST PERFECT FOR ME! As for this complex. It was initially my second choice when I was relocating to NC but it has turned out to best choice. My apartment is perfect! I never get direct direct sun on patio (perfect).The appliances and fixtures were all new when I moved in. The grounds are kept up well with landscapers here regularly. I can not say enough about the leasing team and the crew that maintain the complex. Any issue I have in the apartment has been addressed within hours of putting in the request. For example, I put a repair in late in the evening and the next morning someone was at my apartment the next morning. You get a confirmation of your request and when it was completed. I am grateful for the promptness. So, nothing is ever perfect. With that being said, I wish I could pick who lives over me. Consideration for others is the key when living in a community. The person over me is not respectful/ considerate when it comes living over someone. I have made a complaint and management did contact the unit because their has been a changed in the behavior right up to the quiet hours(petty). Again, I am pleased with the community.

It will be. I've lived in apartments in FL, TX, VA, & NC for over 20 years of varying "luxuries," some having more issues than others but this place is an absolute health hazard. It's a class action lawsuit waiting to happen, just need the residents to band together which might be happening anyway. Go look on Yelp for the real reviews and don't let these fool you. First, these clowns tried to pull one over on me when I moved in, claiming I needed to pay the max deposit when I haven't paid a security deposit of any kind in years. They tried to tell me I was cornered and out of luck, despite my lease agreement not even being legally bound (no security deposit listed and wasn't fully executed), then quickly changed their tune. Then once moved in, issue after issue with appliances in the unit that took literally MONTHS to resolve. Dryer completely broken. Knob sheered off the stove. Can't possibly just swap the appliance from one of the dozens of vacant units on the property that sit for half a year, that's too smart. Instead they send their half-wit maintenance crew to make repairs and order parts that don't last and never come in. Did I mention they are on their fourth or fifth manager in 6 months? Alarm bells yet? Now I'm dealing with toxic mold in my master bathroom to the point I've had to move out of it and seal it shut. I've been sick ever since I've moved in with a persistent dry cough, runny nose, upset stomach, seen two doctors, am waiting on results from a urine test, and consulting an attorney. You can view the results from the air test I conducted attached. Mind you, I'm immune compromised as I have Multiple Sclerosis and am on immune suppressing drugs making this an extremely dangerous situation for me, hence the reason for consulting an attorney. The complex could care less. They sent someone out to look and I've emailed them for two days now to follow up about them sending someone out to conduct their own test with zero response. They won't send anyone out because this is par for the course. They drag these things out for weeks and months. They know about the mold issue and continue to lease these units out, evidenced by the reviews online and the units that sit empty for months if not years. A unit downstairs from me has been empty for more than six months. There's no other reason for that except a structural/environmental issue. If this ends up going to court, it will end up costing them royally in discovery because they can't hide it. A neighbor in another building found mold in her A/C closet and they came by and sprayed bleach instead of actually fixing the problem. There is a reason this place has a ton of vacant units. The location might be incredible but it's not worth dealing with the unsafe living conditions and the absolutely incompetent staff in the office.
