Like many people…read morethis year, I decided to tackle a few much needed areas of my house using the Marie Kondo method. The inevitable problem is that you end up with a LOT of stuff to get rid of, and I can't help but be mindful about how all this waste effects our environment. My husband fixes computers at home, and thus has a lot of old computer parts that don't have a use or purpose. After decluttering them, I felt really guilty about just pitching them, not knowing about where they would be decomposing, or what risks they pose by doing so. I had some experience with disposing of electronics before, but what I had found is that it is often costly and inconvenient. Therefore, when I found RET3, I felt like it had to be too good to be true. I called them up to inquire whether they really would accept any electronics for recycling at no cost, and indeed, they do! (with the minor exception of TVs which are incredibly difficult and costly to recycle) I headed down on a weekday, and while I had a little difficulty entering the location, it was helpful that the gentleman on the phone mentioned that the entrance is actually on East 39th, not on E 40th as the address would suggest. If you are able to find the RET3 Job Corps sign, you're in the right place. My mistake was that I didn't realize the door pushes open, as it appeared that the door was locked since the handle didn't turn. In any case, my dropoff was incredibly easy. There was a gentleman there to help me unload my car, and he was able to give me a tax deductible receipt as well. My only small complaint was that I wish I could find more information about RET3 and their work process. I could see from some research that they are indeed a 501(c)(3) organization (yay for supporting local nonprofits!) and that they also employ locally, but I wanted to learn more about these efforts impact on the community, more information abut how their work programs. I was able to find some information on their website, but I didn't see anything in their space like brochures or otherwise to advertise the great work that they do. In any case, I had a really positive experience donating to RET3, and I would highly recommend for anyone looking to shed some extra clutter in a way that's a bit better as an alternative to just dumping it in your trashcan.

It is a non-profit professional organization that aims to serve the legal needs of not just Cleveland but Cuyahoga county. You can join as a member for a fee or stay a non-member. Some events will charge non-members money to attend an event. SERVICES -- They have lawyer referral services, pro-bono Attorneys (Lawyers who take a case for free), volunteer opportunities, etc. PROGRAMS -- The CMBA has so many events each year. I recently attended (on 10 April 2019) a free program here which was a documentary screening. The documentary was titled "I Am Evidence" which examines the issues of the thousands of rape kits that are untested. Attorneys were able to arrive earlier to listen to a discussion and gain CLE (continuing legal education) credit. I only came for the documentary screening but I got to socialize little bit beforehand while eating dinner. FREE FOOD - The event organizers brought in food and drinks. There was chicken and ground beef as well as taco shells and condiments (tomatoes and lettuce). I was surprised that I was able to eat a full on meal because I thought they would just have snacks available. In fact, there was popcorn and sweets (candy) too...haha. LOCATION -- They are located at the One Cleveland Center building which is on the corner of East 9th street and St Clair Ave. or East 9th and Rockwell Ave. in downtown Cleveland. Free street parking is located on Rockwell Ave. or in the attached garage of the building. Overall, the CMBA is a good resource if you are looking for an Attorney to assist you with a legal matter or if you simply want to attend an event to meet new people while increasing your legal knowledge on a range of topics. *** - 57 total reviews in 2019 - 266 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 11 April 2019

My Dobermans have been therapy dogs, scent dogs, tricks dogs and competition obedience dogs.. not all of them have been the same. I then pursued another Doberman with another rescue to see if it would work because they didn't know anything about the dog. In the middle of this, they contacted me to say they may have made a mistake .. I said I was involved in this now and I have to follow through. Unfortunately the dog did not work out .. I messaged them last Thursday and was told that they were open for adoption and that I was approved as the email stated.. messaged them on Friday to tell them I was coming on Monday to see the dog and then was told someone else just got approved and was coming to see the dog. I was told they held the dog for me and I said that's good because you were the reason I didn't come to begin with. You get no response when you ask whoever runs the place to call you.. I would not recommend this service to anyone!
