I adore Cleveland Roots. It's a local nonprofit dedicated to eliminating food deserts in Cleveland, promoting healthy living and a sustainable environment. Located in the Clark-Fulton neighborhood on the near West Side of Cleveland, their farm headquarters consists of greenhouses, a brick storefront, workshop and classroom space, a house and a developing urban growing space. Its super cool, innovative and activating of an unsuspecting area.
Cleveland Roots is working diligently to address giving ALL people access to healthy foods. And whether its contributing to their community garden or attending one of their free home and garden series events, anyone can find a place here to learn or help others. The people that work here are kind, passionate and so motivated by their desire to improve the community. This is a place everyone should know about! read more
