I'm giving this place two stars for trying to create a fun safe space for kids. My boys are currently enjoying jumping on the various blow up slides/jump houses etc. however they are getting distracted by the plethora of arcade games which each cost .25-$1.00 to play. So plan on bringing extra cash on top of the $9.50 entrance fee. I get that they need to make a living with this place but the arcade games annoy me and my kids keep asking for more money to play but with 3-4 kids it gets expensive. Also there's this toddler jungle gym in the middle which takes up a lot of space. And supposedly only 5 years or younger can go on it but everyone is climbing through. I liked it better when the toddler area was in the back away from the main jump area. It created a safer space for little ones. Now that area is blocked off and looks like picnic tables are in there for parties or something. The toddler area in the middle also makes it really hard to see what's going on in the back jump areas where the seating area is. Also the bathrooms had barely any light, couldn't see anything and had to use my phone flashlight. The soap container was almost out of soap too. And there's random out of order games or equipment in side areas that are eyesores. There's also massage chairs that are for the adults around the perimeter and start beeping loudly if you sit in them and don't pay. With other seating being limited/occupied/or uncomfortable (brown couch I'm talking to you), it seems unnecessary to have all these pay by the minute massage chairs. We need a place like this in Watsonville but wish the area was a little less cluttered and the toddler area was back. Also time to change the awful mural outside and in the back areas. read more

Pump'd was a favorite destination for my six year old twins, where we hosted two birthday parties and visited regularly over the past five years. So I was very happy to learn it was reopening under the Jump N Around name, a center in the Monterey area with exciting looking photos. I exchanged text messages with the management for a few weeks, and was told they were performing upgrades and would be open soon. Last week I got a text saying they would open on Saturday 3/18, followed by another saying just a few delays, but Sunday 3/19 at 2pm would be their grand opening. Well this being my birthday, my kids were beyond stoked - we get to go back to Pump'd and celebrate Daddy's birthday!!! They were buzzing with excitement - so happy! So that Sunday we planned our day around "the new Pump'd". At 11am I texted to make sure they would open at 2 and was told "Yes :)" Yes with a smile - hard to beat! So we loaded up the car and drove the 30 minutes down to Watsonville, kids totally buzzing with excitement - "Daddy, how far to new Pump'd?!?" Almost there, buddy! We arrived right at 2 to a totally empty, filthy parking lot. The door was locked and clearly had been abandoned for a while, as there was an overflowing dumpster, fresh homeless camp with bags of old clothes strewn about, and a pile of human feces - with a poop-smeared green sweater used to clean up - right in front of their main door. SOME GRAND OPENING!!! Looking through the door this was obviously not the place, right? The entry area was barren, old front desk ripped out with debris in its place. No tables, no chairs, nothing. I called their phone and got voicemail; texted asking for the new address and got no reply. Surely this LITERAL SH!THOLE was not the refurbished and improved Jump N Around we had been promised?!? A few minutes later the manager from the main location called to apologize...the owner had some story about staffing problems and they would now be opening on Friday. WHAT A BOGUS, HEARTLESS, NASTY THING TO DO, especially after confirming just hours earlier. This wasn't a case of the employee not showing up - the place is a freaking DUMP, an unfinished NIGHTMARE wreaking of death and desperation and smeared with human waste. What was once a joyous place of fun was now a deceitful pit of feces and FAILURE. My son was so disappointed he just cried and yelled. He was promised a birthday jump with his dad at his favorite place, and he arrived to a frightening sh!t-smeared lie of a dump. For minutes he pounded on the windows yelling "I HATE PUMPD! I HATE THE NEW PUMPD!!!" (Heartbreaking - he celebrated two birthdays here and associated The place with love and fun, not lies and sh!t.) His sister was more reflective - "DADDY, WHY DID THEY TRICK US? WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT TO US?" Also heartbroken, she took it more personally. Even more disconcerting is the view from the front window. Expecting the exciting play structures shown on the Jump N Around website - here we see none of that! Three old deflated bounce structures lay discarded on the ground. A new concessions area (?) looks half built, a rough pile of unfinished plywood. A few more outdated arcade machines have been shoved in among the debris, the only possible new addition. And there may have been a couple of new bounce houses, still folded on palettes. But it's painfully clear, like the pile of sh!t that greets at the front door, that the new owners haven't put a whit of effort, energy or concern into making the place fun, safe, better or even acceptable for their formerly loyal customers and their children. I am scared, very scared for this business. This was confirmed as their GRAND REOPENING, but instead of a fun center, they offer an abandoned dystopian hellscape. YOU LIED TO AND HURT MY CHILDREN. YOU RUINED MY BIRTHDAY. YOU HAVE TAKEN A WONDERFUL PLACE AND BEFOULED IT. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND ALL SHOULD BE WARNED. Hoping to salvage the day, we headed to MOD at the Capitola Mall. It was fun, until we could not leave due to a MURDER/SUICIDE IN OUR PARKING LOT! We should never have been there, if PUMPD/JUMP N AROUND HADN'T LIED ABOUT BEING OPEN! I'm very afraid of what's to come. If this is the honesty and effort the new owners are putting into the place, it will never be a healthy or happy place to take our kids. You can't even clean the sh!t off your doorstep or get your opening date right - can you be trusted? FOR SHAME. read more

I went to a birthday party here this past weekend and it was a total disaster! I'm sure they had to be past their max capacity! There is no seating for adults and they way it's set up makes no sense. There is no flow and there are many blind spots where you can't see you kids. The owner is rude and the prices are outrageous. The jump houses are covered in duck tape and half the video games don't even work! A kid kept peeing and the areas were wiped down with basic Lysol spray and the same rag each time! The hours that this place had before sucked but had more jumpers. This place only has 4 and some arcade games which are not the best. The lady in the front was very rude and demanded that we buy socks because the adults had sandals on. Will not be coming back. UPDATE, our group was told to buy socks or we couldn't go inside yet a bigger group walked in after us and they were all barefoot when I told the lady in the front she said she would tell them something it's been over 30 mins and she's still sitting in the front desk on her phone. I brought my daughter (12), niece (7) and nephew (4) here this weekend for the first time since it opened. They had a great time! There are 2 extra large jumpers and 2 regular jumpers. There are many games to play as well as a separate toddler area. Staff was very nice and noticeably present. read more

Person who helped us at the front was very nice. Absolutely ridiculous rule that parents/chaperones have to remove shoes and wear socks even if they just want to watch their children in the play area. I ended up being relegated to the waiting area as I was wearing sandals... About the socks. They say online that children must wear socks. However, what they don't tell you is that you are required to buy THEIR socks if the child wants to jump on the trampoline. read more

We had a party here today and it was fantastic. The girls up front were Amazing and helpful. This was the first away birthday party I've ever planned. I forgot so many things but the girls up front saved me. They had everything under control and were so polite.We reserved the largest room which was just beautiful! You almost don't need to decorate. There was plenty of seating. I do recommend you do the 3hr slot instead of 2. We did 2 and it just flew by too quickly. The only negative thing I could say is that, since this place is open to the public, you can't control who all is there. read more

this place is an embarrassment! clearly the owners just threw this place together with out a thaught. everything that is in there is just random stuff that makes no sence. theres duck tape ever where and theres tires that are coming off the little cars when my child was trying to use them. went once & never again. watsonville deserves better than this for our kids! read more

The owner, Frank Pacheco, is an absolute jerk!! I had my son's birthday party today at this place and it was the most horrible experience. First of all, when I scheduled the party, I specifically asked if the facility would be closed to the public to which the employees responded yes. I told the employee what my pizza order would be but I was never asked what time I would like my pizza to arrive. I assumed the pizza delivery time would be discussed when we checked in on the day of party. When we arrived for the party, I saw that the facility was packed with kids. When I inquired about my private party, I was told the facility would stay open to the public and there would also be another party going on. This news was very upsetting! I had 29 kids and about 30 adults expected. Mind you, this facility only has 3 jump houses and a small play structure for toddlers. After settling in, I went to the front counter to discuss my pizza delivery time. My party was scheduled from 2:15 PM to 5:15 PM so I figured I'd dedicate the last hour to pizza, cake and gift opening. When I told the staff I would like my pizzas delivered at 4:15 PM, I was told my pizza was already ordered and would be delivered at 2:30. I argued the fact that I didn't not want to serve 2 hr cold pizza to my guests and that I didn't think it would be a good idea for the kids to eat and jump. I was then told that they could order new pizzas to be delivered later but I would be charged for the new pizzas. I told the employee she needed to call the owner and get this straightened out because this was an error on their part. A few minutes later, I was told the owner said I could have the 2:30 PM delivery and that the business would cover the cost for the 4:15 PM delivered. I decided to tell the parents to go ahead and help themselves to the pizzas that were in our party room. My thought was that the parents could eat now and the kids could eat the 4:15 PM pizzas. Well, the owner showed up to the facility and went into my party room and removed all pizzas, including the ones my parent guests had already dug into. When I questioned him, he said his employee misunderstood and that I could not have them. He told me I would have to pay extra for those pizzas. I was livid to say the least!! He finally agreed to put the pizzas back in the room for my guests. Now here's the worst part: I find out from one of my guests that he yelled at his young manager and made her pay the $90 for the extra pizzas. None of this was her fault! She wasn't the one who booked my party nor was she the one who noted the 2:30 PM pizza delivery. When I questioned the owner about who was paying for the extra pizzas, he told me he didn't have to answer that question. So I looked over at the manager and asked her in front of him if she was paying for it. She was too scared to answer and just looked at him without saying anything. She looked like she wanted to cry. When I questioned her privately about her paying for the pizza, she was extremely hesitant to answer my questions but did tell me this was her only job and she really needed keep her job. She would not deny the fact that she paid for the pizzas she just didn't want to get in trouble for telling me she did pay for them. I felt so bad for her! The owner was obviously verbally abusive towards her and in my opinion, taking advantage of her by making her pay the $90 for the pizzas. In addition to all the screwups, this place was in total chaos! Two parties going on at the same time while being open to the public is a recipe for disaster. Kids we're getting hurt because the place was too crowded. A kid was found peeing on the large slide which was never cleaned by staff and there was not enough adult seating. More than half of the parents were left standing during the whole party! Not to mention, I had to serve cake on napkins because they didn't provide enough plates. In total I paid $590 for this horrible party and that price doesn't include the mandatory $2.50 "special" socks each kid has to have. We came here for a family party and there was a ton of miscommunication that lead to unmet expectations. They lack adult seating and it's so crammed in there now. And a kid kept peeing on the big double slide! They had to be at their max capacity, it was a total zoo. New ownership, and she is really nice & friendly. Super helpful with any questions you have. We went for a birthday party and it's a nice place to let the kids get some of that energy out. It's also nice that the pass you get, it's good for all day. You can go & come back. read more

This place is really run down. I haven't brought my children here In about a year since the last owner left. When she owned this place it was nice clean there were way more bounce houses and everything worked. We went last week and I was pretty shocked when we got inside. Not only is it hot and stinky, but everything is broken all the games are broken, the bounce houses are leaking and covered in duct tape. Also it was 24$ for my two kids we stayed about 30 minutes my kids begged to leave that's how bad it is. My 3 year old did have fun, so will give 2 stars. With that said it was a very unsafe environment. There were children 10-12 years old running around and jumping through the houses while small toddlers were on the same jump houses. Two times I had to ask them to be careful and look out for the younger children. It was very stressful. There was also not any workers out on the floor to monitor this or to make sure kids were following the rules. There HAS to be separate jump times for toddlers and older children. I would not take my kids here again for a free jump unless they implement separate jump times and have workers there. Also got there when they opened and they were just then inflating the bouncy houses. They also thought then was a good time to clean and was vacuuming as people arrived. That's not really the best time. Hopefully they can fix these things! read more

WORST PLACE TO HAVE A PARTY!!! Customer service is the WORST!!! The girls in the front have an attitude problem and couldn't even welcome guest in a nice manner. Not to mention that they looked like they just rolled out of bed and went to work. The amout payed for a 2hour party was way overpriced. We were being watched every second and didn't even feel comfortable being there. They did not allow sodas for the guest because if spilled they stained the carpet! How ridiculous is this?! We were being kicked out 10 min before our time was up and if we went over 5min the host of the party was going to be charged an extra half hour! Save yourself money and go to ChuckECheese instead! Just wanted to let you know about the experience I had for my kid's party at JumpNAround in Watsonville so that it doesn't happen to you if you plan a party there. I rented a room for 10 kids that came with 2 pizzas for $274 from 12:30-2pm. I specifically asked if the price included time before or after the time we had the party room so there was time for the kids to play, eat and have cake and presents because I felt an hour and a half wasn't enough time to do all of that. I wouldn't have paid that much for just an hour and a half. I was told yes, we could come at 11 am and play ahead of time before eating and presents. When we got there the owner told I was wanting the 3.5 hour package which would cost $480! Total scam, bad customer service. The cost per kid is $9.50 with unlimited time on any normal day. Why would I pay $48 per kid for crappy pizza and a room that smelled of toxic linoleum that was hot with no air flow when I could have paid $100 for 10 kids to go all day and gone to the local park for pizza and cake. Also two of the jumping things weren't even blown up for almost an hour after we got there either. They refuse to credit me and I thought all you mamas should know that place is a scam so be careful if you plan a party there. They also own the one in Seaside. I thought I had it all planned own so well, everything should have gone smoothly and instead I thrown into an argument with the owner my kid's 4th birthday and out a bunch more money. read more
