When it came time for delivery, my baby had other plans and I ended up needing a C-section. Thankfully, Dr. Nickel had already taken the time to explain everything to me beforehand so that when the moment came, it wasn't scary or rushed. Because of his preparation and clear communication, my C-section went smoothly and I truly could not have asked for a better experience. Leading up to delivery & after delivery I appreciated his check ins, it was nice to see a friendly face around! The nurses and staff at his practice are also absolutely outstanding. They were so kind, attentive, and just wonderful to be around--it really makes all the difference. This is the ultrasound experience all pregnant people deserve. After parking in a free spot in the garage, we followed clear directions to the clean, well-lit lobby space and checked in with a friendly, highly competent staff member who got us into a room with no wait. Vitals were taken by a friendly and thoughtful nurse and then we were walked to an ultrasound room with no wait. The technician was superb - clearly narrating every step of the process, checking in to see if we had any questions, asking appropriate questions of us, and offering to take another photo of our choice since we had time left at the end of the required scan elements. The doctor then came in within three minutes and acted patient and interested - not as if he were impatient. He went through the results clearly and respectfully and again welcomed questions. I was 100% satisfied and would recommend to any person seeking a prenatal ultrasound.

I recently had to start looking for a new OBGYN due to a move out of state and it made me realize how much I'm going to miss going to Dr Chang. Dr Chang was my first OB ever and to say I was nervous about my first appointment is an understatement. I felt pretty ridiculous for being so nervous after that appointment. I've never felt so comfortable before in a doctor's office. I immediately felt welcomed and they treated me as if I had been a patient for years. The entire staff is SO nice and you can tell they all genuinely care about the patients. I can't remember the receptionists name but she was always super quick to check me in and just a very warm person which helps a lot when you are as nervous as I was. Garland (sp?) is also fantastic. I had quite a few issues with my birth control (my body is extra picky) and had to change several times and Garland was always very quick to return my phone calls and help me with any questions. The appointments themselves are pretty quick, but Dr Chang is really patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. I didn't have many my first visit but Dr Chang seemed to realize I was nervous and talked about a lot of things I probably should have asked about. I was ready with questions on my second visit and she had very thorough answers and really wanted to make sure I understood everything. I completely agree with the reviewer who made the comment about hanging out - she has such an easy going and friendly demeanor!! After verifying network status with my insurance, I called to schedule an Appt and requested a few specific doctors based on my research. I had a wonderful experience at Multicare. The reception staff was friendly and on top of things, the nurse was very nice, and Dr Lee was fantastic. She was late coming to my room, but most doctors are. She apologized for her tardiness then spent the rest of the time getting to know my medical history and me personally. she also took the time to explain things like procedures, insurance, medications, etc which other doctors don't usually take the time to do. I can honestly say this was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at the GYN. Everyone that worked there obviously enjoys what they do, and it shines through the little things they do.
