These guys rule! Came in on a Saturday morning needing some exhaust work. In and out at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

No appointment needed just be there by 9 am fast service only mufflers to work on no other parts

Great work at a good price. This place is honest will not rip you off and help you anyway possible to fix your muffler

Went at opening, muffler problems were quickly diagnosed, priced fairly for replacement and labor, then completed in 25 minutes

I bought an aftermarket performance exhaust for my truck, that needed to be modified and installed. After finding Julio's on Yelp, I took a ride down there on a Saturday and they got the job done in 20 minutes while I waited. I previously had a similar system installed on my other truck that did not require modification before installing. I brought that one to a Pep Boys location on Ridge Pike in Andorra. I had to wait much longer, and it cost much more. Julia's only takes cash, so come prepared. read more

So I knew my exhaust was in terrible shape. It's a Geo Tracker, and it's seen some things in its life. I'd always put it off to fix it, until one day and one pants belt later, the exhaust fell down. It had broken cleanly off right at the cat, to which it roared a hoopty tune of metal scraping and Harley Davidson notes. Off came my belt and with the exhaust lifted off the asphalt, I limped it home, loudly. The next day, I arrived at Julio's Mufflers. They could hear me coming, and so up on the lift it went. So, they would need to cut and weld a new midpipe (a pipe from the catalytic converter to the muffler), and then bore a new bung for the o2 sensor in said pipe. $50 a man says, as he's observing. That's quite a price. As I am about to happily agree, he sees the condition of the tailpipe. It's six feet long, and bends all around the under bits to snake its way out back. It's rusted out and there are no exhaust hangers left attached. He tells me they will need to cut it off, cut a new straight length of steel pipe, bend it on a mandrel, and then weld it back on. Uh oh, that sounds pricey. I gulp. Then he says, "$80 total." I'm floored. I expected much more. So I went to the nearby supermarket to buy some limes, hit up an ATM, and I off I went, much more quietly into the night! One issue though, a tack weld on an exhaust hanger didn't hold and broke off. I fixed it with an unwound clothes hanger, however. read more

Julio's Mufflers - Weld while you wait. - Auto Parts & Supplies Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

2010 Nissan Murano. My garage quoted me at $819 to replace a muffler, resonator pipe, and gaskets. I went to Julio's- 10 minutes and $70 later, everything is fixed. When I told them my old quote of $819, they said "No, that's not how we make friends here." Thank you! read more

Started my car up and it sounded like a Harley V-twin instead of a German sedan; I knew something was wrong right off the bat. After setting off a few car alarms in the garage, I knew it was time to get it looked at. I called around, but was hesitant to take it to one of the chain store muffler places. I heard various quotes and time figures, ranging from $200-400 and 2-4 hours of labor. After that, I decided to look around for local shops to do the job. Julio's came up with positive reviews and I decided to go take a look. Met Julio, who put my car on the lift, and found the piping had separated from the flex pipe. Parts and labor for half the price of the other places and I was good to go. It took about 20 minutes to get the job done. He only takes cash, but there's an ATM at the Chinese restaurant across the street. It's not in the greatest neighborhood, but going during daylight hours should be fine for most people. After he was done, I started the car up and it purred like a kitten again. Would recommend Julio's to anyone who needs quality exhaust work done quickly and cheaply. Also, the phone number posted doesn't work, so you might have to drop in and have them take a look in person. read more

I tried Julio's out based on a referral from Garrison's Garage. Great place. I called before I came in and was told that I didn't need an appointment. They replaced my muffler in about 20 minutes and charged me a great price. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs exhaust work. They are cash only, but there is an ATM around the corner at the food market. read more

Went to get a quote today and these jokers told me a specific price to get it done. I asked them if they want me to put a down payment for the muffler and they told me no, just come back tomorrow and it will be ready. Now i called and spoke with the owner and he tells me something different like come down tomorrow and do the procedure all over again. I don't have time for the nonsense read more

Julio and his crew are a refreshing force in the car repair world. I was quoted $1,000 from a national chain to repair my exhaust pipes on an older but well running car. Another mechanic referred me to Julio. I went to his garage, he said he'd take a look and 10 minutes and $35 later I was up and running again. Julio and his crew are hard working honest folks and deserve all the business they can get. What a great small, local Philly business. read more

I was quoted for a replacement flex pipe at a shop in west philly in the $700-$1000 range (they claimed that they wouldn't really know how much work needed to be done until they started). Regardless I knew I needed a new flex pipe and decided to take it to Julio's based on the good reviews and the fair price he gave me over the phone. I was not disappointed!! Him and his brother were quick, showed me what needed to be fixed, and charged me an incredibly fair price ($125). I left there feeling well taken care of. They are cash only so come prepared. These are good fair guys who are efficient. I would definitely come back for any exhaust issues I may have in the future. read more

I showed up to this shop based on the other reviews on here, but sadly i had a horrendous experience. To sump it up, no one in the shop wanted to work. i walked in inquiring about installing custom tips, and before even taking a look at my car, and while sitting in his chair, I was told its not possible for my car. Mind you , im a die-hard gear head and know its possible, plus the fact that simple google search will show dozens of successful installs. When i informed the worker that I personally know 3 people who had it installed, I was told "just go where they went." TO sump up, I got zero effort and rudeness ,all while the shop was empty. Took my business to another shop where was in and out in 25 minutes. This place needs to hire people who actually want to work. I figured the owner wasn't present, or my experience wouldn't be this way, and I hope he reads this. My visit was on 11/20/2017 at 9:25 AM. read more

I visited there 3 times for a muffler fix. They did not want to take the screws out of the cat converter. I thought they were in the muffler business? Waste of time. read more

After meineke told me $190 to reattach my tail pipe. I searched yelp found these guys. They had me reattached and back on the road in about 20 min for $45. Fast friendly service, fair honest pricing. read more

Julio's is great. Garrison's referred me here when my exhaust pipe rusted out. Thinking I maybe would need a new muffler, I stopped by Julio's on a Friday afternoon prepared to shell out some $$$. Julio looked at the problem, and told me I really didn't need a new muffler. He trimmed off the bad part of my pipe, cut a new pipe to size, and just welded the patch on. The whole process took about 10 mins, and only cost me $45. I know if I had gone to Meineke, they would have insisted on replacing my whole muffler and I would have paid much more. Julio is trustworthy, knowledgeable and efficient. What more can you ask for? read more

I came here today because i heard a rattle in the exhaust julio did some tapping around with a rubber mallet it turned out the catalytic converter was noisy and rattleing he suggested i get the pipe before the cat and the cat i asked how much to fix he said he doesnt get involved with that because the car i drive is a 93 volvo 850 the only work he does is mufflers. read more
