We had a nice Friday night dinner at the Juliette Falls club house restaurant. The menus for Friday change and we were fortunate to come for the pork and chicken. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the chef is outstanding. His presentation and flavors are incredible. We were seated in a quiet area where we could see the fireplace and service was exceptional, We have also had lunch and have never been disappointed. This review is for Romeo's Restaurant in Juliette Falls. The building is aesthetically pleasing, beautiful inside and out. In it is a golf shop, beautiful bar and the restaurant. My friend Alyce and I had a delicious lunch that was served with a winning smile by Joella. Joella was friendly, efficient and served our meals in a timely manner even though it was busy during the lunch hour. I went with my niece and daughter, They were blown away! The restaurant is in a house in a subdivision and it was kind of in the center , the outside of the house/restaurant was beautiful, but when you walked in and saw the featured guests.. it adds an extra layer of awesome! The whole place seems to be centered around two special dogs, whose pictures are plastered everywhere and they are allowed through out the business. I will admit my first thought was is this approved by all the food / resturant regulations ? However I was blown away by the food ,service, ambience and all ! Played here in a Friday morning while in town visiting relatives. Tee sheet was fairly open so that was a plus. The course is amazing loved the layout and the landscape is very well maintained. All the staff were very friendly and the members I played with were fun and friendly as well. The only thing keeping this from a 5 star rating is the fact that there rental clubs are terrible. For $100+ a round and an upscale course i expected to at least get a name brand club set, instead i was handed a $250 Amazon set of clubs. read more

my group came from tampa to play 4-24 -26 like we do many times throughout the year and the course is always in great shape. unfortunately today the course was not up to our standards for this round of golf. the greens were well below par. for the price of the round we were expecting the course to be in great shape. however as always the staff is always great. and the food is out of this world read more

I got in a few rounds this month after the the first aerification and the course was better than expected. Fairways, tee boxes and greens all have bounced back just in time for round 2 of aerification. The superintendent, Steve Keller and his crew do a fantastic job here all year around. Juliette Falls is an exceptional golf course. The staff is top notch from start to finish. Everyone is focused on the golf experience. I rated my experience low on this outing for a couple reasons. First, the started allowed two 2-somes to go out back to back at 9:30 in the morning on a Saturday. It caused a back up that impacted play. Additionally, the Saturday morning rounds went out with multiple groupings that were only interested in drinking, smoking pot, and hitting the ball 8-10 times to get to the green. There as no ranger to ask them to keep it moving or take a rain check. By the time I got to the 10th tee is was backed up with 3 groups. I bailed the round because I couldn't continue playing a 5-6 hour round of golf. read more

This is a beautifully maintained course with great facilities and a friendly staff. It's a professional caliber course with a small town friendly atmosphere. I can't recommend this course enough. I drove over 2 hours to play here and it was worth every second. Arrive early for some warm up time and don't forget to put in a lunch order on the 8th or 9th hole. They didn't have ours ready when we made it to the turn so they delivered it to us on 11. Great place to play! read more

Golf course was in phenomenal condition. Greens were the fastest I've ever played and all 18 were in perfect condition. The four of us enjoyed it very much and will always come back to this place, even though we drive from St Petersburg almost 2 hours, it's worth it!! Lunch in the bar afterwards was delicious, I had the Cuban and it was awesome, my other friends had the $12 pre pay burger special and they thought it was also great. The best golf course I play. Beautiful, very, whose sand, palm trees, several ponds, waterfall.... Five tree boxes, great for semi-older fills like me. Many curved fairways creating pleasant views, both crystal white fluffy sand traps and hard sand areas to drive on, greens can be fast with good, but not killer, undulations. Restaurant makes killer burgers. All fairways were in perfect shape. I only play on weekdays but still never had a long or crowded round. read more

Golf course is a pretty course but conditions are average. I had a lot of people tell me the golf course is pristine, which it is not. It does have some nice holes and is a decent layout. Would I call it a top end Golf course absolutely not. Food was decent. I understand some people may not like / want / appreciate dogs being around in the clubhouse and restaurant however I loved it. They were very well behaved and cute. read more

Not reviewing the restaurant but the community. If you have a chance, RUN, don't walk away from this place. Unless you want to feel like you're renting a home in someone's backyard. That's how you're treated. They have no HOA, no updated CC&Rs and will not share financials with the homeowners - which is illegal. We were ready to take them to court and decided to just get the hell out of there instead. Of course it took eight months to sell our home and we lost money on it. However, peace of mind is worth it. JF is a house of cards most definitely coming down at some point and we didn't want to be around when it does. One comment about the restaurant is don't be surprised if you see the owner sitting at the bar eating with two unleashed dogs. Also, don't be surprised if you see dog crap in the middle of the golf course because his family allows their dogs to crap on it and then just drive off with them in their golf carts. No clean up. Our peace of mind came at a high cost but we are sooooo much happier. Before you buy, ask them for HOA board meeting minutes and current financials. They won't provide them, trust me. No minutes, no financials? Run! read more

We had a group of 11 play Juliette Falls on June 17. I have played the course over 10 times. For the rest of my group it was their first time. It is a great course and layout challenges all players. The staff is fabulous from the guys getting your bags loaded to the carts, pro shop staff, beverage cart, and restaurant. My only real complaint was the greens. I believe they were aerated a couple weeks before the 17th. They were possibly the worst post aeration greens I have ever played on. I can't describe the conditions. I would wait at least 2 more weeks before playing them again. We tried not to let it ruin our day but I did take a lot of heat from my group for the greens. Live and learn. I will be back but only when greens are playable. read more

Booked a 12:30 pm tee time on a Sunday afternoon for a threesome and made the drive up from the Tampa area for a special day on the course. Have played here many times and always suggest this course to people looking for a nice place to play. The golf course itself did not disappoint. Course conditions were pretty good, and we always enjoy the layout. We went off on time at 12:30 and did not finish until 6:00 pm. There were no rangers or marshals on the course to help with pace of play. A 5 1/2 hour round is NEVER fun, no matter how nice the weather or how good the golf course might be. If management can't make a commitment to maintaining a reasonable pace of play I won't be making any more special trips up to play here. read more

Played this gem of a golf course in late August 2022. I was on an outing with a group of 16 women. The entire experience was enjoyable. From the outside staff greeting us and helping us "saddle-up" to the friendly and courteous inside ops; all were efficient and professional. The course was in good shape. Greens still showing a little remains of aerification but not enough to hamper enjoyment of this beautiful course. The only hold back from a 5- star review was the condition of the golf carts. They were showing their age and the driver of my cart complained about the brakes needing a lot of stomp to work. I will happily return to Juliette Falls. It is worth the gas. read more

Do Not Miss Juliette Falls Golf Club. The course is wonderfully laid out with a great look and beautifully landscaped. The greens although brown, that time of the season, were smooth and quick and had true rolls. After a fun round Juliette's grill had a half pound hamburger that topped off a great day. read more

Played here on a Wednesday. Pace of play was excellent, my husband and I played 18 holes in 3 hrs, never had to wait and there were a number of foursomes ahead of our 9 AM tee time. Course was scenic and in excellent shape but be warned that there are a lot of bunkers and sand traps. I took off 1 star because it is located out in the middle of nowhere and the price is almost double the rate of other courses in that area. read more
