I can't remember how my wife found Julie's information but I'm really glad she did. My wife and I had a baby in December '22. We have two dogs (golden doodle and frenchie) and needed help walking them and getting them exercise while we learned how to take care of a baby. Julie started sitting for us in early January '23. We decided to hire Julie after reading her Yelp reviews and meeting with her in our home. We had a trip planned where we were going to be in Europe for a month and half way through that month our daughter was moving out into her first apartment. We needed Julie to come walk the dog three days a week, water our outside plants and get our mail. The two weeks our daughter was home, she was able to take care of the cat and bring the dog in at night then let him out in the morning. Once our daughter moved out, we boarded our dog at a long term facility where he runs around with other dogs and plays all day before being crated at night. So Julie was able to pivot to accommodate that change in the home by now taking care of our cat. She made sure she had plenty of food and water and cleaned out her cat box on each visit. Julie sent us nice pictures and status on how our animals were doing each visit. Being in another country, it was nice to wake up and see pictures of our animals. When we got home, our plants looked very healthy, our mail was stacked neatly on our kitchen table and Julie came back over to drop our key off. She is very detail oriented when you meet. She takes good notes and pictures of things you would like her to take care of. We are starting to travel more now but our daughter has moved out and is getting married so we will be relying on hiring Julie from now on to take care of the house and animals when we travel. This will give us such peace of mind knowing that she did an amazing job for us for an entire month. Her rates are $25 per visit and she'll typically stay for about a half hour taking care of what you asked her to do. We had her come on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. We have been using pet sitting with Julie for 4 years now. She and her sitters have gone above and beyond what I expected of a cat-sitter. We deeply love our cats, and leave instructions for stimulation and play for them as well as all the usual stuff like litter scooping and food needs. We didn't really expect that they would get much play, but they probably get more play when she is sitting than they do with us! She texts us often when she's visiting them and sends of pictures of them playing and and having fun, and this reassures us that they're being well looked after. Once right before a vacation out of state, one of our cats had a medical issue. The vet told us she would need a subcutaneous injection and antibiotics. We didn't know what else to do, so we asked Julie if she would administer the shot and daily medicine. We sent her a video showing her what the vet had showed us, and she administered all of the shots herself. For the price, that is an unbelievable level of service. It is hard to trust someone to care for your animals, and to be perceptive enough to notice if there is a problem, but we trust Julie. Perhaps the thing that matters most: if one of our cats was to have an emergency, Julie would be a good person to have there, and I know she would help us do whatever was necessary. The incident with the injections showed us that. We have never been unable to book her, even when we need to make a last minute trip (not making any promises!...but we have had good luck on this front). That reliability factor is really nice. The fact that the price is so reasonable is almost an afterthought...we would pay whatever this costs. You can't buy authentic care, and I think she really cares read more

SK isn't super social but that doesn't stop Julie from trying to win her over. I trust her and her assistants completely and I don't trust too many people.
