I couldn't wait to book a time to try on their dresses. When I went to book an appointment, I saw that they charge $50 just to try on dresses with them. Ok, seriously this mother and daughter combo were a god send!…read more My husband and I decided to get married in Madison since that is where we both went to school and met, and since both our families would have had to travel anyway, it worked for us. The room we planned on having the reception in we chose (at Memorial Union) because it had a fantastic terrace overlooking lake Mendota. Well the room itself is hideous. I am talking about a medieval theme, hideous light fixtures, these hideous flags hanging everywhere. Honestly it made me want to cry every time I saw it (I was a good soon to be wifey and compromised as to location)... They took the hideous room and made it breath taking. The care they took in the decorations really showed and when I first saw the room I gasped and was thrilled! My only complaint is that they are so good that they get super busy and I was a bit freaked out when it took until the week before the wedding to finalize the details. But as I said the final result was amazing, and I did not cry because my reception was gorgeous!

They visited the reception and ceremony sites with me, and gave me ideas on what could be done. After I saw the price estimate, I was in sticker shock, but it is THEIR JOB to tell me what they can do and what it would cost. It's my job to pare down the options to what I really want to have. I was up front with them about it being twice my budget, so we went over it and trimmed it down. They were also great at suggesting alternate flowers that would be less expensive but have a similar look, which I really appreciated. For a very small fee, they also slipped into the ceremony site after the ceremony, and moved all the decorations to the reception site before the guests arrived. I never saw them working; I have no idea how they got it all set up before the guests arrived! That nifty trick saved me a lot of money, and I ended up with really beautiful flowers and decorations at a price I was happy with. Highly recommended!

We stopped in yesterday to get a Needoh which much to our surprise she actually had in stock. She was extremely nice and friendly yesterday talking about how quickly the Needohs are selling. She proceeded to tell my 11 year old daughter that she's getting a new shipment in tomorrow of Needohs and got my daughter super excited for the shipment. My husband even asked our daughter if she wanted to wait for tomorrow to purchase one in front of the owner. We ended up getting one of the Needohs in stock that night but for the rest of the night and in to the next day our daughter begged and begged to go back to check out the new shipment. We finally gave in and walked to Classy Rascals. When we arrived tonight we went up to the owner all excitedly to ask about them. She rudely stated "yes, they are here but they won't be available until tomorrow". She stated she was way too busy for us to even preview them today. I'm like well you told us about the shipment yesterday so we walked here and are excited about it. She simply stated in a condescending tone "I just told you they would be here today". She did at least advise I put in an online order immediately in the morning so they wouldn't be all sold out. Telling me the shipment was coming today seems as if they would be able to purchase especially when there was no mention of having to wait when she heard us talk to our daughter about waiting. Even without selling them, she could've at least handled our conversation nicely. I feel misled as does my poor daughter. Just shocked a small business owner who like handle the situation as so. But maybe this is her idea of doing business...
