I walked in store around 3:30 Sunday, sales associate, not sure if customer, so rude a large young lady in sundress and cowboy boots, I needed an accessory item she ignored me, I felt I was bothering her, I believe store close shortly thereafter, she never asked me a greeting nor May I help u or we are closing soon, I'm a very successful 68 year old female, I live in Fla and Va, I come to CLT to visit a friend, he drops me at shopping center, I buy blue mercury , go to mothers, etc, she so f u rude I'm sorry she is so gross , gosh you should hire a bit up read more

I walked into the store and 3 women were standing together. I had to walk around them so I assumed they were together shopping. Actually they were employees! They didn't greet me or even look my way. As I was browsing , the older woman of the 3 walked by and didn't "hello" or "may I help you?". This is not a place that deserves your business if they can't even be pleasant or acknowledge that you are even in the store. It's not even worth giving one star. read more

This boutique has the worst staff I have ever encountered in a boutique setting. First of all, when I walked in there was no greeting and this has happened on two separate occasions. They both were behind the cash wrap & the brunette girl with the blue dress was eating in front of customers. Second of all, I stood practically in front of them and they never acknowledged me. 3rd of all, a little old lady was carrying around her dress she wanted to try on and had to interrupt their convo just for them to start her a fitting room. Both occasions of going into the store I left (without any goodbyes or thanks for coming in) and not spending any money here because of the rudeness and unprofessionalism. Wanted to exchange an item because I got the wrong color. It was a final sale so I can somewhat understand. I called to see if they would exchange the color for me, several of the items were similar in color and I chose the wrong one. They wouldn't let me exchange the colors. Not sure why it's a big issues it wasn't worn and bought less than 24 hours after I realized my mistake. Other retailers would oblige but this one didn't. Oh well. read more

I've bought three things from Julie's on three separate occasions: a chenelle duster sweater ($50), a green knit sweater ($50) and a necklace ($30). On 3rd wear of the first sweater, the seam in the armpit of the left arm came undone causing a huge hole that I had to sew. The green sweater - didn't even get to wear it because the cheap threading around the actual knit material was coming undone so white was showing through the green. AND THEN, wore the necklace twice and the big center stone popped out. What gives?! Clearly these products are not very good quality and are severely over-priced for what you get out of them. Learned my lesson. To make matters worse, I told them about it and all I was given was "sorry." They don't do refunds - only store credit. Why would I want to keep buying clothing/jewelry that falls apart of breaks in days of wearing it ?!? Nope, not again. read more

I love the clothes here, and the girls there are incredibly sweet, but none of the staff there were wearing a mask. Their masks were either hanging around their neck, or hanging off of one ear. The only time I saw a mask in the proper place was when I was checking out at the cashier. As I stepped up to the cashier with my mask on, she put her mask on properly. I want to reiterate that this place does have cute clothing, but I will not be returning until they are following CDC guidelines during this pandemic. read more

At first, it seems like Julie's is a cute boutique. I purchased a Christmas gift from them and had a happy interaction. However, when the friend who received the gift found that the item did not fit and tried to exchange it WITH THE TAG ON and a RECEIPT like their POLICY states, the lady she interacted with was rude and denied the exchange. She claimed that since the price tag was unattached, although the original tag was still intact, it was against their policy to accept it. Who gives a Christmas gift with the price tag on it.... You would think with the price you pay, there would be better customer service. Needless to say, we will not be back. read more

Love the clothes and price point here! I recently came in for general browsing and ended up picking up a summery top for 50% off (end of season), full priced suede dress for fall and some fun gold statement earrings, all for around $70. The majority of the clothing here is trendy without being over-the-top youthful that an older woman wouldn't feel comfortable shopping (looking at you, Forever 21). The carry a ton of Ivy & Leo clothing. Some of their sales can be great at the turn of a season (50-75% off). I would like to see them boast a larger shoe selection as they usually only have a few styles available when compared to their clothing selection. The service here is pretty standard for boutiques - they promptly asked me if I needed to start a fitting room and were able to answer my pricing questions. They didn't go above and beyond with asking me if I needed new sizes or pulling other items they thought I would like. One interesting thing to note is that the staff seemed incredibly young - high school to early college-aged, I wasn't really sure who was in charge. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the Park Road Shopping Center area! read more

Pretty disappointed. I was gifted a pair of earrings from here that somehow broke before I opened the gift so I went in to exchange them. They said all they could do was order a new pair and have it shipped at a discount. I was prepared to do some major shopping here because their clothes are really cute! I was just frustrated that they couldn't exchange a $10 pair of earrings that broke while still on the tag as a show of positive customer service. That $10 given could have turned in to hundreds returned with a more positive experience. Not a good business mindset or customer experience here. read more

Such a bummer that this store doesn't have better customer care, because they do have a cute selection and I've enjoyed shopping here, as well as at ivy and Leo, since moving to Charlotte. After shopping to prepare for a two week trip to Italy I picked up two dresses, two jumpsuits, and a necklace. While on my trip I had both jumpsuits tear on the first wear, the necklace broke, and one of the dresses tore after the first time being worn after hand washing when I got home. I left the necklace behind in a hotel so I didn't get to take a photo of it but the clasp broke. I was left with 1 product out of five that was actually wearable. Since this was unlike my prior experiences I thought it would be made right by the store, but instead I was told they could do nothing as it was past the 14 day return period. The message I received was that they are selling clothes can only be expected to hold up for 14 days (which they didn't, two broke during first wear but you can't take them back in time if you're on a two week trip) and after that quality is none of their concern. I was offered a 20% discount on a future purchase but definitely won't be returning to spend my money with this boutique who doesn't stand behind the quality of the items they sell. read more

Every time I come to this boutique I find treasures! The staff is so friendly and they will give you their honest opinion if something looks great on you or not so great. The prices awesome and they also do birthday specials... meaning that they will take a certain percentage off of your purchase. I have been coming to Julies for years now. They always have the latest trends and coming out with the new items almost everyday. Hence why I keep coming back. Every time I walk in the girls greet me, so, so kind, and are always willing to help find me the perfect outfit and accessories for the most affordable prices. If they don't have it at that their store, they'll reach out to another and will have it shipped in just for me! Donna, the manager, is the sweetest EVER, EVER, EVER!!!! I am pretty close with all the girls (Maddie, Sue, Kelsi, Maya and of course Donna) because I am such regular, I'm grateful for this boutique. I've now gained friends from just shopping. I have been back to this store a few times and the customer service towards me is the same all the time. I am NEVER greeted or asked if I can be helped, but as soon as a white customer comes in the sales ladies is all over them. The first few times it happened I thought it was just a coincidence but now I know that it is not. I have gone back because I am at this shopping center alot and like this store but I will never return to this location again!! My money spends just like everyone else's. But not here any more. I went to Julie's on Saturday to purchase a necklace for a gift exchange tonight. I've been in Julie's before, but I had not made a purchase. This is a great store with a lot of clothing and accessories. I love that their inventory included some neat and unique seasonal pieces for the holidays. The store is very well organized, which I really appreciate. I hate walking into a store with a lot of inventory that's all over the place to the point where it's hard to find things. The nice thing about Julie's is that their clothing is reasonable-priced. I tried on a Piko top (it's hard finding a boutique that carries the XS size, but Julie's does!), and I will likely be back at a later time to make the purchase. I found the perfect necklace for my gift exchange, and the staff were very friendly when I checked out. Be aware that they do not to full returns on any purchases. read more

I will no longer be shopping at Julie's stores. I was in two locations recently (Park Road, Gastonia) and both times I was constantly followed around the store by several associates as if I were going to steal (or had stolen) something. I've spent a ton of money at these stores and do not appreciate being made to feel this uncomfortable. They seem to be very paranoid about stealing. At the Gastonia store, I was trying on a shoe when I noticed several people literally swarming around me and I found myself getting extremely anxious and just hurrying up to get out of there. Then when I left and got in my car, I saw someone standing at the door watching me, even as I was driving away. I have no idea why they were doing this; I was completely minding my own business. I am disgusted at being treated this away after supporting their business. I shop at many other boutiques in Charlotte and have not been followed around at any other place. They also behave in a very snooty manner. Extremely disappointing on every level (except the actual clothes--I do like their inventory but it's not worth being treated like this). They actually make me feel BAD (like, horrible) while shopping there. My business will go to boutiques that do not treat people this way. read more

I think this reasonably priced boutique is worth a visit for any occasion you might need to buy for (except prom). They have good quality, fashionable items as well as nice shoes, jewelry, bags and scarves to accessorize. read more

I had been looking for a specific dress everywhere in Charlotte. Through the process, I called roughly 5 Charlotte boutiques and none of them were helpful. The associates that answered the phone at the other boutiques wouldn't even take the time to check the store for a dress of this specific brand. But, when I called Julie's, the store associate was quick to check the store and when they did not have my size, they immediately called the Wilmington store and had the dress shipped to Charlotte. You can't ask for better service! The store associates are always helpful, great clothing for a good price, never a bad experience. read more

I bought a dress from Julie's for a rehearsal dinner. During the night the strap of the dress completely broke off on one side. I was mortified. I went to return the dress explaining to the associate what happened and she told me there was nothing she could do because it was worn. I questioned the quality of the dress to her and she tried to tell me to go to a seamstress and have it fixed or she could sell me a new one at a discounted price...will not be returning! read more

I've shopped at Julie's a few times and it's really a cute shop. I'm not usually one to shop at boutiques because I like a good deal, but they usually have some nice clothing on their sale rack. I stopped in today for their July clearance sale and their prices were reasonable. Everyone was super helpful and kept checking in to see if there was anything I needed. I recently made my first visit to this location, and I must say the staff here is much more friendly and helpful than the boutiques Uptown. The 70% off sale rack outside drew me in. Found a great dress for almost nothing. I usually don't like when salespeople try to talk me into buying stuff, but I will make an exception for the lady who talked me into a sweater vest/wrap thing that can be worn 3 different ways for only $25! I visited this location about 30 minutes prior to closing. My friend was looking for some new items for her upcoming Vegas trip. About 10 mins till closing we were rushed into the fitting room. As we paid for our items, our clothes were rolled up in the tissue and thrown into a bag (not even half folded). The older lady who was the cashier was less than friendly and should probably retire or work on a personality. I will be returning my purchase as it is super wrinkled and not worth $45 for a plain wrinkly dress. I will make sure to never visit this location again specifically due to customer service being non-existent. read more

Julie's is a fairly large women's apparel store in Dilworth. Here you will find lots of dresses, both formal and fun, with cool prints and in bright colors. They carry shoes, as well as jewelry and pocketbooks. You aren't goint to find anything of exceptional quality here, and the prices you can't beat, in a "get what you pay for" kind of way. Another one of those stores where if you are in a pinch and in need of a bargain, you'd want to check out. read more

If I could pick zero stars I would. Don't waste your time. Their clothing is cheaply made and it won't hold up, even through HAND WASH. They refuse to work with you on it. I bought a shirt at a holiday boutique, hand washed it like the directions say, all the colors ran together along with the brown outline of the suede pocket on the front transferring the back of the shirt (that was white). They told me there is nothing they could do because it's been washed. Well I didn't have problems with it before it was washed. Just goes to show the quality is not good, way overpriced in that case, and the customer service is shitty. I didn't want a refund, I would have like to of just tried another shirt. Nope. The only word she could say was "sorry". Will never buy again, nor recommend to anyone. read more

Whatever the occasion you can find something to wear here. I have bought great sundresses, long sleeve t-shirts, great scarves, tub top bras, and much more. I love this place. The staff here is really great about helping you find what you are looking for or giving you advice (if you are unsure about the way something looks). The quality of clothing is on par with Forever 21, so not great but nt bad by any means. They have great sales and really offer great benefits to regular customers (special sales). I know I will continue shopping there, but I recommend ladies stop in and look around. Oh, and it is ladies clothing only. read more
