Julie is the one who stopped all my research for my TMJ problem. I had jaw pain for about 10 years, it makes a 'popping' sound every time I yawn in these two years, my jaw becomes more painful when I consume chewy food. I went to a few professionals for a cure - chiropractors, and they told me they do not work with skull or jaw-related parts. Then I went to my dentist, he honestly shared that dentist and TMJ specialists are different in their scope of practice, he recommended me to try wearing a nightguard and Invisalign, see if it helps with my jaw pain, my physician couldn't connect me to any specialist in Kaiser treating TMJ either. Julie started with an assessment and thorough inspection of my movement which causes me pain and the pop. Even I was the one having the problem I know nothing about it and why, turned out my jaw shifted a little bit and kinda 'unhooked' in a way because of my long time habit of chewing and sleep pattern. At that moment I thought, man it's gonna take forever to heal the pain and pop because I had no idea it's a thing that built up for 10 years! Then the miracle happened, Julie said It would only take O N E session for me to be good again and then follow up session is flexible depending on my change of habit and care. Julie then started treatment with me, her magic hands were massaging my jaw area and I could tell that she knows every acute point that was suffering pain and causing my problem. The session was about 1-1.5 hrs, I felt I have connected to my body again and the feeling of knowing what causes my problem was so great, which I never experienced gaining such clarity by going into other professionals. The result: NO POPPING SOUND! I was like, no way ... I couldn't believe it! My husband was skeptical because he hears the popping sound every time when I yawn or try to eat an apple but the sound is gone now! We were both truly amazed. After just 3 treatments she had relieved all my muscle tension. I came to see Julie with an injured knee. My meniscus was torn and after having been seen by a surgeon, I was about to go into surgery. Julie treated me 3 times predominantly through deep tissue massage. The two first times did a real difference to me, but the third time, she completely nailed it. Julie Lynge has extremely poor business ethics; She missed several appointments which had been booked months in advance and paid for in advance. She apologized and said she would refund the money. STILL NO REFUND. In March I scheduled 4 appointments; a series of TMJ (suggested as a series) and a Face Lift treatment. I received confirmation emails and appointment reminders for each appointment. I showed up and waited and waited outside her door. Her voice mail was full. I texted and she responded from Hawaii full of apologies. The second time she was not present even with a past history, and repeated text confirming the appointment. This time she cited family health issues with her son. - life happens, I get it. But as a small business owner myself its unacceptable that she would repeatedly be in communication and yet never refund the very expensive treatments which had to be paid in advance. I can't speak to her facials, only the business side. I rarely post a negative review, but in this case, I figured if it happened to me, it might be happening to other people. After two cancellations by the owner and difficulty in rescheduling, I asked for my money back (I had pre paid). It never happened. After many attempts to contact the owner over several weeks, and a refund promised, I was blown off. Finally I let my bank handle it only to receive pushback on the disputed charge by the owner. I provided my bank a copy of the owners own cancellation policy and my bank quickly refunded me the money. And had my bank not received pushback on this charge, I wouldn't have posted a review at all, because clearly the owner had other things going on. But the fact that the owner disputed the charge after I had spent weeks politely following up on a refund that was absolutely entitled to me, really got my goat. This owner needs to work on their integrity, because it is not okay to keep someone's money for a service that was never provided. read more

I wholeheartedly recommend giving Julie a try. If you have been struggling with pain from injury, or even if you haven't and just need a zen meditative experience, you won't regret seeing her. I have been having issues with neck pain and stiffness from a car accident, and whatever she did was like magical healing. She was highly in tune and used firm and light pressure as needed. Julie is an exceptional talent in Marin and a total healer! I found Julie through an article written on Goop's site. I had TMJ years ago and still wore a night piece as a result. I can not recommend Julie highly enough. I have been waiting to be in the States long enough to see this guru for three years (I live in Denmark, were Julie is very famous for her great skills within this field) but have been here on an internship since August where I have been seeing Julie. I have problems with migraines and headaches. The first appointment at Julies beautiful clinic was life changing for me. I have been living with migraines with aura for as long as I can remember but feeling that doctors haven't really been taking my pain seriously and just prescribing medication with out having a real conversation with me.
