Truly, if I could give zero stars I would. This is mainly for their office staff/customer…read moreservice/booking experience. We had taken one of our children here years ago, under a previous insurance plan--no issues, covered by insurance as expected. The doctor was fine and competent, though I didn't think she was especially gentle or patient with such a young toddler at her first ever dental visit in a kids-only practice. Fast forward to now, new insurance plan, add another kid into the mix. I literally spoke with this office 3-4 times to check whether our new dental plan was accepted as in-network, what we could expect to pay for the visit, and to confirm date, time, location, etc. I spoke with two separate people from the practice. I confirmed with them that our plan WAS IN-NETWORK with this office, and that some or all of the basic visits would be covered under that accepted plan. So we get there day of--my oldest is extremely stressed out and scared about the visit, I fill out the basic paperwork, and literally AS WE ARE ABOUT TO WALK INTO THE EXAM ROOM we're told our plan is: Not accepted Not in-network with them Won't be covered at any percentage They then confidently ask if we'd like to just pay for the visits out of pocket, which would be nearly $300 combined. Why the hell would I have dental coverage for my family if I wanted to pay $300 every time they need an appointment? The front office then disputes whether I confirmed these details or spoke to them at all, suggesting I may have called the wrong number altogether. Then how could you possibly have the 2 scheduled appointments on your calendar for my kids??? Unreal. I will never go back to this practice with my family. It's a shame, because we previously liked their office location and my kids enjoyed their many toys and games. But unfortunately they're either so inept and poorly run they can't properly check whether a dental plan is accepted prior to you stepping foot with everyone into their practice, or they are just disingenuous and running a scheme to bring you in, then tell you you're out of network to try and force you to pay a ridiculous amount out of pocket for what should be a routine and 100% covered exam and cleaning.

They spoke to him in a way that made him feel comfortable and safe, which made all the difference. You can tell they genuinely care about kids and know exactly how to make a first visit a positive one. The office itself was clean, modern, and very well maintained. The environment felt welcoming and organized, which immediately put me at ease as a parent. I'm so grateful his first dental experience was such a smooth and happy one. Yes, and on those few times they've always tried to accommodate. You being late cuts into someone else's time. What if it was your time someone else was cutting into. My children are not perfect. My son has vasovagal syncope which made having a cavity filled real fun (NOT), needed braces, and doesn't brush well. My daughter is a mouth breather (doing damage to her teeth), has needed a tongue tie procedure, and has already had a cavity filling. At every NEW dental/personal experience in my children's lives, KIDDSMILES has been right there supporting them every step of the way- making them feel safe and loved. They've accommodated us whenever possible when asking for the family room (both your children seem at the same time or sometimes one at a time but together in the same room). Have they ever run behind? Yes, what business that deals with emergencies hasn't??? - name one and I'd call you a liar! The horrible hygienist (Teresa) was so short tempered and rude. My daughter is young and gets anxious at the dentist. But this woman was unprofessional and kept jerking my daughters head to the side and demanding she open her mouth wider. Then dr homer came in for a hot second (bc the office has gotten so busy they spend no time with patients ). Teresa took my daughter to take X-rays after this and my daughter later told me she was yelling at her during that too. This Teresa shouldn't be working with children if that's how she's going to be. Dr Homer told me that my daughter would need to be sedated with gas in order to get sealants l!!!!! Nope!!! Bad bad bad dentist. They are a dental mill and shouldn't be in practice if this is how they behave. Just a poorly run business.

The waiting room is really geared to children with an awesome play area (how I remember those good old days!) and a tv and some magazines. It's not a huge office, but it's the perfect size and never gets overly crowded. I first fell in love with this practice with a dentist, Dr. Elkin, who has since left. He was absolutely spectacular, and when I heard he left, I was a bit heartbroken. I was referred to Dr. David, and I was a bit skeptical, as I hadn't had another dentist since I was super young. However, Dr. David assuaged any and all of my fears (and if you know me, there's a ton). She's been my dentist for years, and I have even kept her through college and through my move to Texas. I get my cleanings by a dental hygienist, and let me tell you I LOVE the hygienist team. Every one I've had has been thorough and thoughtful, and I've always appreciated it. Then Dr. David comes in to take a good look at my teeth, and the one time I needed a filling, she did that too with no traumatic memories. I had a bit of trouble with the particular filling (just my luck to have an odd tooth), and she always answered my calls and let me come in for a free followup to check on and then replace the filling with a silver filling that would have more luck. Sure enough, it worked, and she took full responsibility for that filling, even though she had no way of knowing that my tooth would not respond well to the composite - now that my friends, is an AWESOME dentist. I have also seen Dr. Zombardi and really like him too. My mom also uses him and really likes all he does for her. There was a weekend many years ago when I had something go wrong with my braces (I believe?) and Dr. Zombardi came in specially for me and took my mom's emergency call at a totally off hour. While I don't remember the details, I'll never forget that Dr. Zombardi and his group were there for me when I needed them. This practice keeps me flying home from Houston every 6 months and keeping my appointment just because I cannot bare to deal with anyone else.
