Dr Jensen has been my doctor for 20+ years. She delivered 2 of my children. Do appts sometimes run late? Yes. Has she had to cancel a time or two due to having to actually deliver a baby? Yes. Thats the nature of this specialty. I am honestly shocked by all of the negative reviews here. Dr Jensen has never been anything but forthcoming, honest and compassionate, especially during my times of pregnancy loss. I agree with the other reviewer that this feels like Duly has forced her out. The letter received about her departure was short and vague. If Dr Jensen is choosing to retire, why not just say that? Duly certainly has their hand in this one, once again putting profits over patients. read more

I just heard Dr. Jensen is leaving Duly. She has been my doctor for over 30 years and I will miss her. I see a lot of people complaining that she ran late for appointments. This did not bother me because I knew she was willing to spend as much time with each patient as they needed. She would stay and answer questions and was one of the most knowledgeable, caring, and hard working physicians I have ever known. I believe that Duly forced her departure with their neverending push for profitability. It just doesn't pay off for private equity when doctors spend too much time with the patients. I will be looking for a new doctor outside of the Duly umbrella. Good luck to you Dr. Jensen and thank-you for helping me bring my two amazing daughters into this world. I stopped seeing Dr. Jensen two years ago because she was dismissive of my medical issues. I had been experiencing severe cramping, nausea, and fever off and on for a few years. She asked minimal questions and said I need to drink more water. No reproductive testing or referral, not a single piece of medical advice. I've seen many doctors since then and learned my body stopped producing enzymes and I can't even eat a carrot without extreme pain. She is terrible. I saw Dr. Jensen during my most recent pregnancy and she (unfortunately) delivered my baby. My experience with her was absolutely horrible each time we interacted. She rushed appointments, dismissed my concerns, mocked me for my last birth (I was late and was allowed to go to 41+6, and she said I was, and I quote, "insane"). She is unprofessional, cold and above all cruising on her (apparently) prior reputation of being caring and competent. I once had an appointment with her that was literally 4 minutes long - including a cervical check, which was completely unwanted by the way, and she spent the rest of the time allotted for my appointment in the hallway on her phone yelling at her lab for changing codes for some procedure. The hospital staff are SCARED of her. I was about to push and the nurse was more concerned with adjusting the thermostat to Jensen's preferred temperature before her (late) arrival than the fact that my baby was crowning. Dr. Jensen very nearly didn't even CATCH my baby because she did not believe me that the baby was coming. The entire practice Dr. Jensen is a part of is a ridiculous circus of incompetence, lack of caring and outdated medical practice (such as doing a cervical check every week starting at 36 weeks, ridiculous!! No one does this anymore in areas with better health care!) STAY AWAY from this practice AT ALL COSTS. Editing to add that if you want FMLA paperwork filed, this practice is an absolute joke and will give you the runaround - I spent months attempting to get my paper work done. HORRIBLE. read more

Dr jensen is absolutely amazing. The whole office is truly amazing but dr patten and dr jensen have been the best. Dr carney delivered my first child (who is also very very awesome!) Dr patten delivered my second child and she is one of the sweetest woman i have ever met. She is so gentle and caring and i will 100% be scheduling all of my future checkups with her. This was my 4th pregnancy but first time with this practice. I was pressured into an induction at 39 weeks when all my other children came after 40 weeks. I was perfectly healthy, no issues. My son was born very small with jaundice and feeding issues. Since my first appt I never felt heard by anyone in this practice. I am personally traumatized by the treatment received and my birth experience. These drs care more about their egos rather than the care and wellbeing of their patients and their infants. read more

My first visit was fine but very rushed. The wait time in the office was over 45 minutes both appointments I had. Second appointment was absolutely horrible. Jensen told me she was going to perform a Pap smear, but ended up giving me a Chlamydia/gonorrhea test that's required and didn't correct herself. She somehow missed my you know what, and shoved a test stick in my urethra. That being said it caused me to not be able to urinate, and I'm pregnant. The hospital confirmed I had trauma down south and blood in my urine caused from this. Comparing the urine culture test I had taken in her office that same day before she caused this to happen, it shows all normal and healthy. I had to take anothe urine culture test at the hospital just hours later after she did this- and it shows trauma and blood in my urine. I have contacted both Julie Jensen's office and Dupage medical group corporate office multiple times. I received a call from Julie Jensen's nurse who was extremely rude and all she could say to me was "Jensen has been doing this longer than you've been alive!" I'm not sure if that was her way of justifying anything but that doesn't mean she's good at what she does. I had contacted the office manager after that along with corporate once again and, No Response Back. Mind you this all happened September 5th 2018, I gave them plenty of time before reviewing. I will never recommend Dupage Medical Group and I will NEVER reccomend Julie Jensen or her "staff" Think twice when it comes to your body and your baby if pregnant. read more

Julie saved the life of my daughter. When I lost my first son to stillbirth under her former practice (group of 4 doctors), she took me under her wing and carried me through with lots of high risk intervention. She spent after-hours on many phonecalls back and forth with the MFM working together for a best plan to get my subsequent babies out alive. I literally listened through the walls as she pleaded my case and shared it with other professionals. All three of my pregnancies were unique and difficult and she ultimately made the call that had me in the hospital overnight when my daughter was delivered via emergency c-section under general anesthesia. Without her foresight, my daughter would not be here. The decelerations of her heart during my monitoring that night proved it. She's now almost 2. When I went to make my OB appt. for an annual pap smear, my husband asked why I'd want to wait in line to see the celebrity doctor (seriously, she is) without any issues or pregnancies. I googled to find where her new practice office was located and booked immediately. As long as I live in Illinois, I will never go to another OB. She's the most thoughtful, wonderful doctor I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She loves her job and it's clear she really cares about her patients. I couldn't be happier that she left her former practice (which had three others doctors who I don't recommend at all... having lots of experience with each of them and a number of offensive moments I can't even type here based on how horrible they were to me!). She's now down the road in a much cleaner, bigger, nicer office. Go Dr. Jensen and lose the card to those other folks down the road. She's worth it! read more

I first met Dr Jensen two practices ago when she was a new doctor! I was already with another doctor in the practice but as fate (or I should say LUCK) would have it she was the one on call when my first baby was born so she delivered my daughter and did a fantastic job getting me through it. Pregnancy #2 was not so smooth and ended in a premature delivery and the loss of my first son. All through that pregnancy I found that Dr Jensen had my back even though she was not officially my doctor. Unfortunately the doctor in the practice that was officially my doctor made the ultimate call in my treatment and I lost my son. I immediately requested to switch to Dr Jensen however I realized if I had complications in a subsequent pregnancy I would no doubt have to rely on the other doctors in the practice if they were on call. I made the difficult decision to go with the high risk MFM group out of Loyola and delivered a healthy baby boy full term! Shortly after I delivered my son, I saw in the newspaper an announcement that Dr. Jensen was with a different practice. I immediately went back to her as a patient and have also followed her to her new practice with DuPage Medical Group. I am long done having babies but I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Jensen and the care she gives her patients. I highly recommend her and would not hesitate to allow her to handle a high risk pregnancy if I were young enough to still have children! My daughter is now old enough to be her patient and perhaps Julie will deliver my future grandchildren! read more

Dr Jensen is everything that others say about her and more! I went to her for my first time today after many recommendations on a Naperville moms group on Facebook, and I'm so happy that I did! I have a family history of female cancers so I want to make sure I'm with an innovative doctor who's on top of technology and really knows their stuff in this realm. Dr Jensen is kind, compassionate, thorough and patient. After just one visit, I'm extremely confident in putting my health in her hands! Not to mention she made the actual exam part easy and fast. While most women dread that once a year appointment, I actually don't mind heading out to Naperville to visit Dr. Jensen's office. The practice is almost all women. I believe there is one male OB/GYN. The nice thing about the office is that the women who work here have children. You aren't discussing pregnancy with someone who has never been pregnant. (Kinda like talking about marriage with a Catholic priest, but I digress) I always see the nurse practitioner, who is super friendly and funny to boot! I don't schedule appointments with Dr. Jensen - she is likely to cancel because one of her other patients has gone into labor. One day I was there, and she had 4 patients in labor on the same day! Crazy! If you want to see Dr. Jensen, you should call 6 months in advance! She is so popular that she books quite a bit ahead of time. If I ever decide to have children though, I will definitely switch to Dr. Jensen. If the office takes your insurance, I highly recommend Dr. Jensen and her nurse practitioner. It's a low key office with lots of women who have been where you are - make an appointment. Maybe you won't put it off til the last minute this year! read more

I had the pleasure of being Dr. Jensen's patient when I was pregnant and delivered baby #2. This practice is one of the few that will allow you to attempt a VBAC (1 of the docs in the practice does not do them, but the other 3 usually do.) My VBAC was ultimately unsuccessful, but I was so grateful for being given the opportunity to try it. Dr. Jensen puts you at ease right away and her bedside manner is absolutely top notch! This practice came highly recommended, as when I was pregnant my husband, an Edward doctor, asked around to see who the best was in the area, and everyone told him to have me go to Badowski, Druzak, Jensen & Pirozhnik. I am so happy that I did! The office can get very busy, but that is just a testament to their patient satisfaction. read more

I went with this practice based on the reviews. These are good doctors; however I usually feel rushed when I am in to see them. I have a high risk pregnancy with complications and just felt like a number. Most of the doctors here were in a rush to get to the next appointment because they are running behind (usually 30-40 minutes late) and seem overwhelmed. With Dr. Carney once running almost an hour behind to a point where I thought they forgot I was there lol. Dr. Jensen really rushed through my appointment so I was disappointed. That's why I gave them three starts. On the positive note, they do answer your questions and have a positive attitude. read more

Dr. Jensen is amazing. She has been my ob/gyn for roughly 18 years. She successfully delivered my 33 week baby and saved my life when I went into heart failure after. She listens to my concerns and gives clear, precise answers. Thankfully, she left her old practice and is now with DMG. I now have no issues getting a quick appointment with her and very little to no wait time, which is a HUGE difference from her last practice. I first began attending DuPage medical group starting in the month of July. This is after I left my initial ob because she saw pregnant patients up until a certain point of pregnancy. My entire experience was horrible. This practice Paid no attention to me as a patient and in my opinion risked my life. When I first transferred over I transferred my results from the glucose test, and The blood test was supposed to be reviewed by the doctors however the only information I received was that I had passed. Later on in my experience I begin to have issues with extreme exhaustion and loss of appetite I told the doctors about this because I was around 30 weeks pregnant and this was not normal for me, The only response I received from each Dr. is that it was normal because I was pregnant. I considered taking off work for intermittent periods due to my exhaustion and when I seeked to have this approved I attempted to contact the doctor by contacting the general phone number for the practice. Once a contacted them I spoke with a receptionist by the name of Kim, at that time Kim told me that I am not able to speak with the doctors and that they only speak with us in person. When I told her that I have some concerns that I wanted to address with the doctors she asked me what was wrong with me and at that time I told her I did not feel comfortable expressing that information to her and she continued to go on and tell me that I'm only able to speak with one of the nurses. I never had my chance to talk to the doctor and when I attempted to make another appointment in order to speak with one of them the receptionist called me and asked me why was I making an appointment. When I let them know that I wanted to possibly fill out paperwork for family medical leave they then told me that the doctors don't handle family medical leave papers and that I would have to speak with them only. I explain to them the issues that I was having looking to finally receive some results and they only asked me why is it that I can't work with the headaches and extreme exhaustion. They also told me that that's not a real reason to be off work and the only way I would be able to have that request completed is if it was noted in my doctors notes. They literally argued me down on why I'm not able to speak with the doctor and why I should be working. This experience was so horrible that I even looked into a new OB at 34 weeks pregnant and even scheduled an appointment with them. However I decided to just stay with the practice because I was so close to my due date.They made my entire pregnancy uncomfortable I cried day in and day out because I had worries that they would not complete my paperwork for my leave correctly and that I will lose my job it was the worst experience that I ever. in being pregnant I feel as though they took away the joy of my pregnancy. Not to mention once I was in labor I had to have an emergency C-section due to some issues that I was having while in active labor. After the C-section they determined that I was extremely anemic with hemoglobin levels of 7.4 in which they should be around 12 to 15 and instead of taking accountability for never noticing this due to the glucose test that they were supposed to review with me they only blame the previous practice asking me did they ever go over the results with me. Why would they go over the results when I was transferring to a new doctor and the new doctor was supposed to be going over the results with me instead? so after figuring out I was extremely anemic I also figured out that was the reason why I was extremely tired and was losing my appetite and had headaches during my pregnancy. I think that they were extremely negligent and that they do not listen to their patients concerns. I believe that this establishment is a Money grab, every week when I went to see the doctor there were multiple patients Waiting. Almost every time that I went I waited at least an hour in order to see someone And once I was called I would wait another 45 minutes just for the doctor to come in the room and see me. Then, the doctor would only see me for about 15 minutes. Often times they would cancel my appointments without my knowledge. The doctors themselves seem to be very smart women however they do not pay attention to their patients so I believe that if you are looking to find a doctor to take care of you during your pregnancy, this would not be the place. your safety would be at risk and it just would not be worth any of the trouble or worries you'll undergo. The doctors themselves seem to be very smart women, However due to the ignorant receptionist and the lack of care they process for their patients concerns I would definitely not recommend this practice to anyone. read more

I have been going to Dr. Jensen's office for over 4 years and have never been happier with a doctor. She is very busy and at times it is easier to see her NP but she is also great and makes you feel very comfortable. I am now 5 months pregnant with twins so I am working with all the doctors in the practice and they are just as great as Dr. Jensen. There are three women doctors and one male. I have always preferred to see women but he has been very comforting & made me realize that the gender doesn't make the doctor. I would highly recommend her & the practice to anyone who is looking for knowledgeable, informative doctors who are also laid back. You will find friendly people from the ladies at the desk to the nurse who takes your blood pressure in this office! read more

I came to this clinic with high hopes since it is supposedly one of the best in Naperville. Perhaps it is - unless you are an alternative-minded patient. Dr. Jensen wanted me to stop taking Estrofactors - the supplement that has helped me the most. She also suggested I stop using progesterone cream. The reason? Neither has had sufficient government studies, she said. The cherry on top was when the secretary said to me before I left, "I had to laugh when I saw your list of supplements - do you really take all those?" As if it was her business anyway. Zinc, B vitamins, Fish Oil and Probiotics are apparently a shock in this clinic - so consider yourself warned. read more

Amazing Doctor. I was nervous to switch doctors after being with my old doctor for over 10 years and I was 8 months pregnant. However, I left my last prenatal appointment so upset that I made a second appointment with Dr. Jensen. She was amazing. She made me feel so much better about my pregnancy. She explained everything and spent time talking to my husband and I about everything we were nervous over. I ended up needing a c section and dr. Jensen was great with everything. Showed up on time and very upbeat the entire time. When she realized my baby had his cord wrapped around his neck she kept so calm and upbeat that I didn't even realize what was going on until he was crying and healthy. She explained everything afterwards in a very positive way and knew exactly how to handle everything. She was always prompt to come in and check on me during my stay at the hospital. Changing doctors was the best thing I did and could not be happier with Dr. Jensen. read more
