Yes. Thats the nature of this specialty. I am honestly shocked by all of the negative reviews here. Dr Jensen has never been anything but forthcoming, honest and compassionate, especially during my times of pregnancy loss. I agree with the other reviewer that this feels like Duly has forced her out. The letter received about her departure was short and vague. If Dr Jensen is choosing to retire, why not just say that? Duly certainly has their hand in this one, once again putting profits over patients.

This did not bother me because I knew she was willing to spend as much time with each patient as they needed. She would stay and answer questions and was one of the most knowledgeable, caring, and hard working physicians I have ever known. I believe that Duly forced her departure with their neverending push for profitability. It just doesn't pay off for private equity when doctors spend too much time with the patients. I actually had an excellent experience with the doctors for ob/gyn for over 8 years, which was…read moreterminated by the office staff in an office I have never been to or had an appointment with who got in there via computer system, actual relationship unknown other than the office she works in is probably 20 minutes from where I live per Google Maps. Demanded cash under the table in large amounts for further appointments that evidently had included terminating my insurance at appt dates, only for Naperville at one point, and false statements about accepting my insurance that when I went to the insurance company finally they did remedy as well as make sure she no longer was able to withhold records and for cash only for that either. But that is the one criticism I have, which is that office staff are able to and there was nothing I could do about it or the disturbance she was conducting for a good two weeks. At one point she went on at length about how the patients must learn all of their computer systems per office, and its evidently become somewhat like that with and via office managers in general at least at that point. I would actually recommend not returning any manager calls or emails that start like this and instead going straight to the insurance company to get your records and terminate the disturbance. In the long run HRD can sue the companies about staff vs us, but on this basis, ending the disturbance and stranger danger bullying and worse, is all you can do. There is law separating us from them with annual training course training required by HRA, but beyond that, you are being dragged into a war only they benefit from unless forcibly terminated. Licensing almost always also does this, but its also a long drawn out nightmare potentially while they keep going, vs insurance company vs to enforce the law to be on their provider list as clout being waived, able to complain on your behalf if they feel they should. Its pretty much all you can do. Also per insurance co as the only people who will and can protect you from them. And having the same problem reaching anybody who would provide mandatory licensed instead of the office staff. You have a computer system database invasion of your regulated info access by a practitioner unsupervised stranger danger when they do this highly illegal thing to patients and customers. Almost always anonymous due to illegality known to the employee. In banking at one point in the 90s, people like this were "borrowing" savings account deposits as 'free loans' to invest and return that got caught when they couldn't put the money back. The federal court issued a ruling allowing supervisor arrest for not monitoring the employees in that kind of case and theft "under their noses". Here they would need to block employees from unlimited access to our information and supervise them to stop them, and set computer system alarms and triggers notifying practitioners, but so far I know of nobody coming down on practitioners or other entities when staff do this but at US Bank also banking industry. In an analagous in that misuse regard, we now have to go somewhere else also for that much safety from the persons involved, of unknown relationship or what provoked this. But you can get your records out of them which are actually in turns out are supposed to be available on demand for free from the electronic portal but you have to know that and locate them. It was very sad in some ways after that kind of a very positive experience with the doctors who made a real difference vs what it usually seems or can turn into causing nasty problems that shouldn't be there., for years and years, and the office in Naperville or Lutheran General a couple of times. But it seems to be a coming plague with office employees and the public with licensed regulated services that aren't per regulation when the staff can turn them into this with a danger to you if they successfully entrap you into more than terminating the anonymous office person and getting your records, etc. Appears to be computer system office management system created as a problem in general potentially anywhere you go that could happen any time. Always licensed services are immediately out the window when it does. There is so little on practical basis that you can do about it and your safety, with your medical services out the window entirely, that its important to know how to at least get your records so you can get timely care somewhere else if at all possible and the insurance company can address what is supposed to be 30 days notice required also for services with a covering physician and refills, if you can't do it fast enough to go somewhere else in time for any reason.

Had a surgical consult scheduled for 12pm. This office is 35 minutes from my home. I took time off…read morework to drive there. Once I got there, I waited over 25 minutes, watching 2 other patients come and go during that time, before I asked why I hadn't been seen yet. The receptionist went to go ask, and when she came back she informed me that Dr. Carly Richards had been called to the hospital and was supposed to be back but wasn't. I think they would have just let me sit there indefinitely if I hadn't asked. The waiting room was empty other than the two patients that were seen and gone almost immediately. The level of incompetence is staggering, whether it was a lack of communication on the surgeon's behalf or the administrative staff's lack of awareness, it is absurd. We have been with Duly for years now, but I am done. I will find a different surgeon and medical group.

I was told at my week 36 appointment I couldn't leave and had to induce due to high blood pressure. The whole ordeal and birth of my second child was a total nightmare. For starters, the rules on Covid are inconsistent. They test the delivering mother but my spouse was not made to take a Covid test. I was told the reason was b/c I was heavy breathing and could infect the nurses and doctor and that was the reason to test only me and not my husband. However, what about the new child we are bringing home. What if my husband was positive? When you have high blood pressure you are induced. That starts with a few things but mainly breaking your water. Doctor Sayla didn't even know she did not break my water correctly. I was left on pitocin for hours until she decided to try to break my water a second time. How a doctor doesn't know a water bag isn't broken is beyond me. She was preoccupied with several C sections and I was not a priority. I was left on pitocin for hours after she finally realized she didn't brake my water correctly. Being left on pitocin makes your cramps horrible and I hadn't even seen my anesthesiologist yet. When I finally saw him he was super rude and rushed. He was accusatory and insinuated that the reason he had to stick me THREE times in my spine - was my fault. My anatomy was off he kept saying. This is my second delivery and Rush hospital in Chicago which is a teaching hospital got the epidural right on the first try. Also try being left on pitocin for hours and going through severely painful contractions while being given your epidural by someone who isn't doing it correctl- he was lacking compassion and patient care. My doctor never came back to check on me through this entire ordeal. Not once did I see her. My doctor wasn't even there when I started pushing and I thought I was delivering my baby with the nurses. After baby came she pulled my placenta too fast and too abruptly and I suffered an inverted uterus due to her manhandling my insides. This is very serious as you can die from loss of blood. I was rushed to the operating room and lost 50% of my blood. Dr Sayla and Dr Stoeffler didn't put me under for this and decided to discuss awful topics such as still births of other patients while I was vomiting violently on myself all while they performed a major operation on me to get my uterus fixed. That night for pain Dr Stoeffler told the nurses to give me ibprophen and I had to question why after suffering significant blood loss- 50% of my blood to be exact- why would they give me ibprofen. I had to fight to be given an anxiety pill and fight to be given a pain pill that wouldn't cause more internal bleeding. The nurses were the only god send in this entire process. Marissa and others were simply angels. Dr Kagan came in the next morning and had horrific bedside manor. He has the nerve to state that he's never had any of HIS patients ever go through an inverted uterus and he hoped they never did. It made me think he either has disdain for Dr Sayla or wanted me to feel awful and like a freak. He then asked my nurse and me if we wanted more blood for the transfusion. I'm sorry-- Is he the doctor or me? He then never ordered the blood after I said yes. I mean talk about lack of decency and professionalism. All of my Edward nurses - Lauren, marissa, katie and nicole were saints. One of the nurses is too intense and talks to fast and isn't reading the room when dealing with patients who are sleep deprived and injured. I was sent home with NO info on my inverted uterus. No info on blood transfusions. My new baby had paperwork but I was given NOTHING on my health and recovery as if I don't matter and like if I can't take care of myself how do I care for a brand new baby. We wonder why new mothers are suffering and Post Partum is on the rise. It's because of terrible doctors like these and the terrible hospitals like this that treat woman like second class citizens. Stay away from Dr Sayla, Dr Kagan and Dr Stoeffler.

She was just released from his care and we are very pleased with her care. I became a patient of Dr Park recently after a knee injury from running several months ago. Dr Park explained the MRI results to me in words I could understand, showing me the MRI and clarifying any questions I had. Dr Park then took the time to call the doctor he wanted to treat my injury, had that doctor pull up my MRI on his end, and then they discussed the injury and treatment. Dr Park explained to me what exactly the procedure would entail and put in the order for that specific doctor to do the procedure. I had the procedure yesterday and was very pleased with the results. I am so happy with the care Dr Park gave and the time he took to make sure I would receive the best and right treatment. I cannot recommend him enough, he is a wonderful doctor!!

I have known other individuals to have had perfect relationships with the doctor, and with the staff in general, but for me, this is definitely NOT a location I feel safe in to obtain objective medical care. It's not fun sitting in a cold ass room in a paper gown in the middle of January for 45 minutes, amirite? Ugh. Thank god it's only a once a year thing. I've been seeing Dr. Szwedo for at least ten years now. I previously had a different doctor but her bedside manner was less than ideal and she spent more time lecturing me about dental and general practitioner visits. You know, stuff completed unrelated to the reason for my visit. I gave that whackadoo the boot and was going to hunt for a new doc, but I lucked out as Dr. Szwedo was in the same building but a slightly different practice group. Dr. Szwedo is so nice and I've never once felt uncomfortable with her. She always asks if I'm still "living in sin" and while I'd be offended if anyone else asked that, it makes me crack up when she asks. Hopefully someday I'll give her a different answer and totally shock her. Last year as we were wrapping up the visit she asked if I wanted to continue with my same prescription, and I answered affirmatively. I've been on the BCP for 18 years, and well, "it it ain't broke, don't fix it." She did bring up other options for me and said if I ever wanted to change my mind, she'd be glad to help me out. She's fully aware that I'm childfree by choice and plan to stay that way, and she never tries to throw the ol' "oh you'll change your mind someday" spiel at me. It's much appreciated since being childfree by choice is so hard for people to understand, let alone accept. For anyone on the hunt for a friendly, non-judgmental doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Szwedo.
