Quite a range of things really with the emphasis on things being organic and sustainable. Plus. It's all paid for by weight (as the name suggests you just scoop up however much you want) so they cut out loads of needless packaging. A good place to stock up on supplies, it's a actually fairly well priced despite being organic. And of course having museli every morning is a lot cheaper than a bacon sandwich, so a good place if you're tight on cash. Very popular, it can get overcrowded on Saturdays. They stuff quite a lot into a small space, unexpected finds include toiletries (eco-friendly ones, of course). Scoopaways a great idea and a good place for cheap staples.

A perfect place for the health and ethically conscious, the shop stocks everything from frozen food to sweets and sundries. The staff are always really helpful in showing me what's the best product for my recipe.

I have an Easi Yo yogurt maker and they sell all the mixes here which is great - my other option is to order them online, and I don't always want to buy 5 packs of yogurt mix without trying them to make sure I like them! This is the best place in town for Christmas cake ingredients. They often have special offers on and a couple of times I've been in to find that everything is half price as part of a one-off sale. I had passed by Eau De Vie whenever down 'round Cowley Rd and had made note of their excellent choices in aromatherapy products. SO! I decided to give them a try at fixing my back. Relaxing? Yes. Technique? Interesting but left much to be desired. Price? Cheaper than Boston pricing and about on-par with Charlotte at ~$100 for just over an hour. The real test was how did I feel the next day and I felt okay but far from relieved. So! If you feel like an awkward hour but a relaxing one, come here! If you're looking for results, maybe try somewhere else?

I was right about the first bit. This is a wonderful little store with a really down-to-earth and funky vibe. From the snazzy and colourful (Caribbean influenced?) frontage to the actual products on display it's clear that a lot of thought has gone into this enterprise. The focus is on organic, fresh and healthy food and drink. Towards the back of the shop the store opens up into a huge back room filled with excellent raw foods, cleaning products, teas and so much more. There's often a good little deal on the go so things really aren't too dear - and the owner's lovely too! A real gem this one.

I have trouble digesting without specific enzymes, causing reflux and discomfort. I couldn't eat without them. With 7 days left on our vacation, I was physically and mentally miserable. The woman at the info counter was busy on her computer but stopped briefly to help me find what I needed. I'm so grateful for Wild Oats' existence!

The shop is split into 2 levels, with the supplements and cosmetics side of things upstairs and mainly food downstairs. There is also a little independant health therapist office upstairs. The lady that works in there is lovely. She does my Nan's feet all the time and comes highly recommended. The main reason that I go in there is for the occasional vegan treats that they have, which are a wide range of faux meats and cheeses, dairy free cheesecakes and ice cream and mixes/spreads. The sales staff I never find to be very accomodating, I have to be honest. A couple of them have been quite snippy with me before, but you can't be too picky about where you shop when barely anywhere in the area stocks things that you can eat! Overall the range of goods wins, thumbs up.

The shop is huge and I often find I spend a lot longer in there than anticipated. I visited with my mum last week as we wanted to stock up with some yummy health food goodies and grab some supplements. They carry a lot of general food and health food items - stocking items I can't manage to find anywhere else (Oat Bran) and having a wide choice within each range. Upstairs they also have a health beauty department. The staff are polite and fairly friendly. The only drawback is having to spend over £5 to use your card. My mom wasn't offered her OAP discount either - make sure you ask!
Great for the vegetarians choice range of foods, which are both vegetarian and vegan and a reasonably priced brand!

I'm going to be honest, I was disappointed that they don't sell all vitamins here and most of them were for body building. However they did sell a few common vitamins such as E and C. When I asked the woman questions like "Have you got anything to help the immune system" and "What does this vitamin do" she didn't have a clue! Half stuff she said sounded like she'd just made it up and the rest she was reading of the packet. I could do that!! I think the shop could massively improve if their staff new everything about their products and how an individual and keep fit and gain the body they want, leaflets may also help this too. They could also sell a few more common vitamins, not just body building ones. This shop is for people who want to build muscles but I'd recommend doing your research before you buy anything from here.
