The downside of this is that prices are high, so don't think for a minute that you're going to a thrift store. You're not. If you know your brands, that really helps because they can only set the price so high. Some of the cheaper brands, you actually can find stuff on sale in the retail store - but not often. I love designer purses and there is absolutely no better place to get them. Nothing even close. As for SELLING at CM - yes, I've done that too. I just make sure I'm taking in stuff that I REALLY don't want any more because they don't give you much. I think it's a much better store for buying than selling.

It was a large horse. I don't know whether this was part of the places decoration or an Amish visitor or employee. For the shopper that likes old-timey styles this place will be loved. Of most impressive are expensive but craftily handmade quilts sold in the last building. I am not into Amish country fashion, but the tour of these shops reveal its quality to me anyways. The prices are what you'd expect for a Men's store, but the service you get is world class. They get to know you and your style and make appropriate suggestions. They carry Peter Millar, Allen Edmonds, Southern Tide, Agave Denim, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Bahama, and tons and tons of suits. They'll do special orders and almost always offer me a deal to thank me for my business. Downtown Goshen is now a destination. It's amazing to be able to shop and shop well in a small town this size. I can buy the shirt NEW for that price. I wish consignment stores understood that they need to price used items at a used price. The average price per shirt was between $12-$15, and this was for brands that anyone could buy at Kohls or Target. Jeans were priced around $25, again, these were not high-end denim brands.
