I was in the middle of nowhere Indiana and saw this place had some options so I made a stop for lunch at the taco place and loved it. This was different than most "food halls" I've been to in the sense that the "stalls" were bigger. I was surprised to actually sit down and get a menu and get served. I'm not sure if ALL the places do that, but each place seemed to have their own "larger" space. There was a market where you can buy Amish made goods, a bakery, a deli, and a Mexican place, as well as some other shops (shoppes?) too. The bathrooms were acceptable for someone passing through, but those dumb Dyson hand-dryers blow! Yes, they blow the water off of your hands towards you? Why? Why? Who comes up with this stuff? It's not as bad as the ones that blow all the water out of the sink, but c'mon Dyson! I looked all over for the coffee place as I could have used an afternoon pick-me-up but I didn't find it. Maybe it closed? Who knows. A coffee would have been great though. If I was back in the area, I'd stop here again for sure. read more

Homely variety of old fashioned sentimental retailers, coveted foods like nitro ice cream, and pleasant upstairs events center all make for a snazzy above average small town hotspot, this is an obvious drop by. Us three guys did the trot round the inside shop circle. There is that simple life book shelf and Grandpa's reading glasses feel. The staff are polite but illusive as befits the head bonnet bearer. Parking is surprisingly easy, a small town perk. I did note unlike most small towns the tourist trap mentality has rolled up prices. read more

First time here - we liked it! We're in town to check the area out and be able to recommend places to visit to our 2021 RV Rally attendees. We had a nice lunch at the deli at Coppes Commons, then walked around the different spaces in the building. Such a cute little building with many different local shops inside in downtown goshen. More food places than shops. At one end there is an Amish fro dry atore that has a meat and cheese deli and they make fresh sandwiches and sides. Very friendly staff and very clean. It was fun to look at everything they had to offer. I bought some cheese they had in their deli case. Very tasty as I made my own sandwich with some bread I bought somewhere else. They had some Cajun chicken breast that I bought also. It made an amazing meal. They have a popcorn place too. Try some popcorn before you buy it. Lots of flavors. I'd say about 30. I'm not a huge popcorn person so I didn't buy any but I did look at all the flavors. They also have a pretzel place. They looked delish. I wasn't in the mood for one but the place smelled so amazing. There was an ice cream place as well along with a Mexican cafe and a few other small places to eat. It got busier as dinner hour approached. Plenty of places to sit and eat your food as well. I def suggest visiting. Support local and have a relaxing time while you're there. read more

This is is my favorite spot in the area, in the heart of Amish country. It reminds me of a food hall, but yet has so much more. It has a European feel to it. There are several different entrances. The parking lot and the hitching post area leads you to the back of the Commons and into the bakery area. My bakery favorites include the homemade stuffed oatmeal pies and sour gummy worms. The favorite part of the Commons is the Culinary Mill, the deli. I stock up on square cut cheeses and bulk snacks, trail mixes, corn nuts, pickles, etc. The Amish ladies are always gracious when I ask for specific cheeses and cuts. This time, she even packed my small cooler with ice over top my cheese stock. Today was the most that I've ever bought here and I still only spent around $25.00. There's also a tea shop, coffee shop, fabric shop, an antique mall and a few other Common options. I've gotten a cup of hot tea before and it was a bit ordinary and overpriced... besides that, I've never been dissatisfied with anything I've gotten from here and I'm sure I'll be back when I'm back through northern Indiana. read more

Gorgeous location for weddings and event! I've attended a wedding here and several artisan shows! Located in Nappanee, the old Coppes factory has been transformed into shoppes and the upstairs for events. Exposed ceiling and original wood flooring give it a very industrial/farm look. Rocket Science ice cream is located downstairs along with the Culinary Mill Market, Christian book store, craft store and other shops. Also has an antique museum on the upper level. Every Christian they feature a Christmas Market and live nativity scene. It really is a small town, old fashion delight! read more

I discovered this gem of a grocery store yesterday while attending an inaugural craft fair at Coppes Commons. It was my first time visiting and am already looking forward to my return visit. The store was very clean and shelves well stocked with all sorts of canned goods, a variety of flours, candy galore and not to mention an outstanding deli and dairy case filled with meats, cheese, and specialty items like Amish cheese spread, Amish peanut butter, Tapioca pudding, take-and-bake pizzas...so many items. And the Amish ladies are so pleasant and gracious. Of course, the aroma of the pulled pork is heaven. I thoroughly enjoyed my grocery shopping experience! read more
