When we arrived we found arrived we found a very pleasant market/sales location. We went inside and found plenty of things for sale. Pies, cakes and other baked goods. The place reminded me of an old time market/store. Tastefully decorated and a very country/down home feel. We were directed towards the back to the refrigerated blueberries and other delicious looking items. We found our blueberries and were checked out by a very pleasant sales person. We surly will be back to such a pleasant location next time we need seasonal fruit!

It starts in July. Short window. The blueberries get spayed in spring and then no more. Wear big repellent if you are sensitive but there were very few bugs and an occasional bee. The woman who runs and owns the farm was very informative. Good honest farming at its best. They have three varieties of blueberry bush. Highly recommend you leave the earbuds at home and enjoy the zen of picking blueberries. They only cost about $2.35 a lb and I can't wait to make a pie. My secret is lemon juice and a little nutmeg. We picked 8 pounds for less than $20!!! They really could charge double and people would still pay. We don't get the experience of picking our own fruit in major metropolitan areas so the experience is all part of the fun. There are tons of bushes, we wanted to go back on Monday before leaving town but it's their closed day.

The eggplants are exceptionally fresh and delicious in varied sizes. They also have unexpected items like summer blooming dill stems and sorrel. They have the best corn in the area and peaches too. It's hard not to buy too much and then bring home beautiful cut flower selections or flowers in pots. It is fun to plan meals around what we find at this stand. The staff is kind and helpful in this happy place. The prices are right.

Never have we tasted any strawberries BETTER THAN THE ONES we had yesterday. Too bad the strawberry season is so short in Michigan. Asparagus is freshly picked. Hope they still have some hanging flower baskets because I'm sure they're going to be just as wonderful as the strawberries (btw, second year our friends have "gifted" us with s'berries!)

It is a picturesque place that looks like paradise on Earth. On site is the Olde 1884 Church, which has this amazing rustic feel. We had our evening cocktails and hors d'oeuvres there. It was wonderful to enjoy our time there, look at the beautiful view and chat with friends and coworkers. The church really is impressive and made me think, if i get married, maybe this would be a good place to do it? After cocktails, we walked through the vinyard into this impressively large barn. The barn has lighting, and looks to be a great place to have a company event, a party, or reception. The decorations for the event were harvest themed, were tasteful and classy. The meal was absolutely out of this world! It was high end, but still had that rustic theme to it. It was composed of the following: 1) Cast Iron Bread. Olive oil cast iron finished scratch farm bread, smoked maldon salt, and whipped maple butter. 2) Shared Legacy Farms Field Greens. Wild field greens, pickled Macqueen Peaches, fancy ranch, buttermilk blue, and smoked bacon 3) Blackberry Beef. Grass-fed beef tenderloin, syrupy blistered blackberries, peaches and red wine jus, farm beets roasted over coals, and fresh ricotta whipped with honey 4) Malted Chocolate Cake. Malted double chocolate cake, cherry creme fraiche, crushed maltesers, and farm mint. I did enjoy the fact they had beets. I joked with some friends about coming to the farm, wondering if it would be like Schrute Farms from the tv show, The Office. When beets was served, I had to share that with my friends. This farm of course is way nicer than the farm on the tv show. But, I had to add this because it was a funny happenstance. That said the food was delectable. The whole time we were eating, a live band played, as we spent more time with our coworkers. It was a magical night, and I truly loved every moment in Lincoln Ridge Farms. In reviewing their website after the event, they do have farmers markers here and pumpkin patches. I may return another day with the family. Lincoln Ridge Farms is amazing! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there isn't enough shade when waiting in a phone to check out. Usually there isn't a line but when there is, if it's hot, you're melting in the heat.

Fun in the sun and a pile of fruit to boot!…read more So after another Reits run, the three of us (me, S, and my niece) decided that we'd had enough digging around looking for books and toys, but we really didn't want to go home yet. That was when S had a great idea- go pick strawberries! U-Pick fruit places are everywhere around here, and we've both got good memories of heading to Fritz's U-Pick out near Gobles when we were younger. So a quick search on Yelp turned up this place, and it was actually convenient to get to- it was on the way back from Reits. Pulling in, we were greeted with a field full of cars, and a massive strawberry field- with lots of other people here! The way it works is rather simple- you get a big container and a few little ones, and you go up and down the rows of strawberry plants looking for ripe red berries to pick while avoiding the rotten ones, the green ones, and the damaged ones. When you've picked enough (whether because your carrier is full or your back says "no more" doesn't matter), you carry the strawberries up to the hut where they're weighed and you pay for them. Then you take them to your vehicle and go on your way. It's a lot of fun, and my niece had a blast helping us dig for yummy fruit, and spending some time outside instead of watching television all day is always good. There are a few caveats- this is physical activity, so be prepared to get down and dirty. The majority of the berries are deep under the leaves, so you might have to kneel or sit in the moist dirt. Wear stuff you don't mind getting dirty. There are bees about- just give them space if you have to. It also gets pretty hot, so take precautions on sunny days! The berries here won't be as big, as uniform in flavor or in color as the ones you find at the Wal-Mart/Meijer's/local grocery. If you're looking for strawberries just to eat, be aware that you might get some sour ones- but if you're going to do things like make jelly or jam, make some strawberry pie or shortcake, or whatever, this place will suit your needs perfectly! If you don't feel like picking them yourself, you can buy them for about three bucks and change a pound (u-pick are about two bucks a pound). This is a great place to spend a few hours! We'll be back again!
