It's my favorite of all the resale clothing chains because you know what you buy will be clean, well organized, in style and in great condition. Probably 2/3 of my closet is from Clothes Mentor. The downside of this is that prices are high, so don't think for a minute that you're going to a thrift store. You're not. If you know your brands, that really helps because they can only set the price so high. Some of the cheaper brands, you actually can find stuff on sale in the retail store - but not often. I love designer purses and there is absolutely no better place to get them. Nothing even close. As for SELLING at CM - yes, I've done that too. I just make sure I'm taking in stuff that I REALLY don't want any more because they don't give you much. I think it's a much better store for buying than selling.

This configuration makes a natural connection between the shops, a traffic flow guiding visitors in the front of one shop and out the side where the next awaits. Out front was a horse and buggy. It was a large horse. I don't know whether this was part of the places decoration or an Amish visitor or employee. For the shopper that likes old-timey styles this place will be loved. Of most impressive are expensive but craftily handmade quilts sold in the last building. I am not into Amish country fashion, but the tour of these shops reveal its quality to me anyways. I've never dealt with racism before but I dealt with it today. I watched a Hispanic couple before me return a pair of shoes that have obviously been worn. They look not good. Well they let them return them without even looking at them. Just scan the receipt then. The manager came over and took the money out of the door and gave it to him. But me they looked over the shoes with the fine too comb and then refuse to return them because they said the bottoms were dirty. I forgot to mention I called before I came because I live an hour away. I called to make sure that I can return them and I explained that my son wore them one day and they didn't fit him. They were hurting his feet so I called to make sure that I wouldn't get turned away if I drove an hour to return them and they said no problem. If I was Hispanic they wouldn't even have looked at them but since I wasn't it was a problem. What a horrible store. I won't stop until that manager is fired because it's not right to treat people like that.

This morning the only person working was in Returns and there weren't any in the regular checkout. It's happening all of the time and it's frustrating to wait in long lines. Where is the manager??? Placed order online for store pickup which says will be ready in 2 hours. Placed order at 10 AM…read moreFriday. Wasn't ready for pickup until 1PM Saturday and then half of my order was sold out. I tried ordering 2 different items at 1:20 PM Saturday and it is now Sunday 12:45 PM and still not ready. If I had known ordering online would be this much of a pain I would have just gone in the store and picked the stuff up myself. It wouldn't be so bad if they gave a rain check for the items at the price they were when I ordered them, but nope. They just cancel the order and don't care. It's BS.
