Let me tell you feeling a popping sensation in your back is not hot. Having a masseuse take a focused battle to those muscles incites a range of emotions, such as you want her to win but you want her to stop too (she did ask me to speak up if the pressure was too much, so you do have control). I told her I was on my break and needed to go back to the office so she tailored her usual routine to suit my schedule without compromising on time spent on my back. The massage itself was very good, good pressure and little talking - just the way I Iike it. The spa offers different deals depending on the weekday and they do run a loyalty scheme for returning clients. I will certainly be back soon and I will reserve the last star for when I tried one of their facials.

I couldn't quite find the shade I wanted and kept saying, "A slightly redder, lighter oxblood" so Lien pulled out a few shades and tested a few on my nails. She also suggested making our own shade by doing a red base with a darker top... And she nailed it! (Heh) I would have never thought of it and it sounds silly to get so excited but I've just never had anyone nail this color before! (Yay all the puns!) Maybe, the car park will no longer be necessary because, finally, we'll have perfected solar-powered matter deconstructing teleportation technology, or maybe it will just be underwater. Whatever happens, hopefully I'll be writing Yelp articles about the virtual reality hot-spot at Surface Station 13C on Mars. Enough of that, I do like this swanky complex, I think the designers really tried their best and it works well. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded at a few different places around the city for the last couple of years, this was by far the best. Almost every other place I've gone to has taken way too much off, despite me telling them I wanted a fuller look to frame my face. The therapist took great detail in explaining the differences in each brow and told me as I'm so fair it could take 2 years for me to achieve the look I want without having to use pencil and powder to fill. Not sure if this was an upsell technique but I appreciated the honesty! She was very careful to remove the bare minimum whilst trying to make them even. Although it's more expensive than a lot of other places I was absolutely delighted with the results, I felt like she really listed to what I wanted and my face looked so different afterwards, being properly framed. I made my follow up appointment on the spot and was given a loyalty card- not sure what exactly this entitles me to. I met a friend for lunch afterwards and even though I was wearing less make up than usual she commented on how well I looked which I definitely think was down to the eyebrows!
