I particularly like this Juice It Up location because the workers here are particularly friendly. Every time I go in, it's all smiles and small talk. And although I'm not big on the small talk, I actually don't mind too much. My smoothes always come out consistently good. You'd be surprise. Being that they're a chain you'd think it'd be the same everywhere you go. WRONG. Some locations are crap. Too watering or too sweet. This location hit a home run every time. Melon madness. So I'm a fan of Juice it Up and pop into 'em every now and then for a quick lunch replacement. No complaints on the actual juices here as they seem to be pretty standard from location to location but I have to say this location just has the saddest service. The folks aren't rude or anything but I've yet to have anyone smile at me or ask me how I am today or just any semblance of 'friendliness', and it's not just directed at me cuz it takes a few minutes to wait for my drink and I typically observe as they help others. Not sure why but perhaps the owner/boss here needs to find a way to cheer his staff up somehow? ;) read more

I came in today with my 3 daughters for some immunity-boosting smoothies after travel left us feeling yucky. My oldest daughter wanted the "pink mermaid smoothie." And no, that is not a menu item. However, when our order was ready, the cheery gal behind the counter proclaimed, "your order of two small pink mermaid smoothies is ready!" As you can imagine, my daughters' minds were blown. Well i found this place bc its only 1 mile from my house. Drinks are delicious, somehow it's kinda better than jamba juice, with acceptable prices. Jamba juice is a lil bit pricey tho and sometime I try their new drinks and they are just disgusting =.= Worst thing about Juice It Up is that they normally take like 15 mins in total for both getting orders and making drinks for 1 customer. This is a pretty good Juice It Up! location, but Juice It Up! is sort of a weak Jamba Juice clone in general. You see it everywhere around Orange County, but the smoothies themselves are solid, but not outstanding for the vast majority of the menu. They don't taste like my friends and I tried making smoothies in our blender -- they're professionally done -- but the recipes can taste sort of plain as mixes of fruit, even the acai that they plug so much. The staff's really nice at this location -- a huge step up from the Fountain Valley location where they're apathetic in general and that hag stole my money. They've also got some inelegant but usable white plastic four-seater tables with umbrellas outside. I suppose you could usurp the Starbucks seating, though, but then you'd have that dirty feeling of being in a Starbucks and have to go take a shower or something. The Juice It Up! also has two comfortable hammock-type chairs on the inside that are surprisingly always free, under a chalkboard where people are supposed to express themselves but really only the staff ever bothers. The food choices could use more selection. It's not like Jamba Juice where they have their little bakery thing. Juice It Up! has bagels and a collection of little packaged snacks, but the bagels are surprisingly good -- although only plain or blueberry. They have various add-ins (I can't remember the name, but like the boosts at Jamba Juice) where you get one per smoothie. The smoothies are available in a 24-ounce size or a 32-ounce for $1 more, and for most smoothies, also a 16-ounce size. I've probably been through most of these at one point, and the only ones I'd bother to recommend are the Zone (nonfat yogurt, bananas, peanut butter, and the awesome power of peanuts) and the chai tea smoothie. A big drawback for them is that they don't have any light smoothies, and most of the stuff tends to be made with a "juice blend" which is usually a smoothie-place euphemism for being blended with something loaded in sugar. read more

Place is alright. I came here and got the juice drink (Energizer) with extra beets. Kinda messed up my stomach, lol. But the prices here from what I've noticed were much higher compared to the other juice type stores. And the bowls here aren't all that great for the price either. I've gotten the super fusion passion bowl twice and I don't think I would get it a 3rd time. Anyway, its a chain type juice place so It's just average I guess. read more

I love this juice it up! I come here everytime I'm working at the Orange County Fair grounds. I love their acai bowls, add peanut butter blended with greens and coconut and top it with the honey, granola, blueberries and strawberries. It's the best in the whole entire world. However this guy that sometimes works on Sunday's is not my favorite. The girls that work her all remember me and it doesn't matter I show up at 851 they still help me out. This guy though this guy does not get the big tip like the girls do because he makes me wait till 9 and then I'm late for work. Then he looks at me like a crazy for waiting. Why do I do this to myself??? I keep on coming back to Juice It Up even though I should know better. I popped in here and at least had the right mind not to order an acai bowl - I've consistently had poorly prepared and yucky acai bowls at several Juice It Up locations. I ordered the Rejuvenator (a fresh pressed juice of apples, beets, carrots, cucumber, ginger) and was the only person in the store. After I ordered, four more people came in. There were three girls working behind the counter and they all looked miserable. Everyone who ordered after me got smoothies and their drinks were prepared immediately. I had to wait for their drinks to be completed before the girl who was taking everyone's order was free to grab the produce to prepare my juice. She had asked if I wanted ice and then gave me barely any ice for an intense juice which was room temp even with the measly ice offered. This isn't exactly a juice you want to drink at room temp. The juice was fine but I couldn't help leaving the store with the same scowl all three workers had on their faces. This location is decent - in a strip mall off Baker and Fairview with plenty of parking. It's next to a Starbucks and I'm kicking myself for not just going into the Starbucks. read more

The customer services here was horrible. Came into the establishment, and wasn't even greeted and continued to wait at the register for about 5 mins. There was NO LINE. Never got a "hello" or "ill be right there sir." Just three to four teens refusing to pull their heads up from making their designated juice assignment. I was literally two feet from the nearest one. I literally walked out and left. A greeting would have sufficed and counteract the long wait and rude, indifferent encounter. I admit, I prefer Juice it Up! over Jamba Juice, but that's really just a personal preference. I think both places give you a great smoothie, it just depends on which combinations you prefer. I really enjoy the Just Peachy or Big Berry Combo, but the great thing about this place is that they will make any kind of smoothie you want with any combination of fruit, juice, yogurt or sherbet. I have a custom customer combo that they make for me which is just a Raspberry Craze with yogurt instead of sherbet and blueberries instead of bananas and it's a great combo. Their smoothies often taste a tad too sweet because I don't think that they use fresh (real) juice in their smoothies so I don't really think it's as "healthy" of an option as people think. I have no problem with the juice, but the customer service is terrible. I visit the store tonight, around 7pm. There was a guy wearing the read apron juice master took my order. He really didn't know how to be nice to his customer, even a word, or just a smile. However, the girl who made our drink was really really friendly. Just left this place and upon my drink being ready, ( I ordered two Sunrise Splash, an orange drink) I noticed that my drinks were a blood orange color, I asked the cashier "is This the same drink?" She replied "yes it is just a few blueberries fell in" then turned away. Im mainly upset that she was so careless she didn't tell me when she Gave it to me that she messed up, I had to ask. And if my nephew was allergic to blueberries it would've been a problem. She should have just made me a new one. It could've happened to the wrong person and been a horrible situation.
