They have great items on their menu especially if your health conscious the items they sell are super healthy and mindful of the ingredients they use and sell to their customers. They have indoor seating and outdoor seating. I ordered the chicken Cesar wrap and it was delicious and fresh with grilled free ranged chicken. This is a small place with indoor and outdoor seating. They have a selection of smoothies, breakfast, wraps, sandwiches, and yummy desserts. I got a latte which really gave me the pick me up I needed while also tasting great. The latte was the perfect espresso to milk ratio. I also had tacos which were really fresh and full of flavor. The tacos weren't skimpy and had a good amount of food in them unlike other places I've been. I've been going to the Promenade Shops shopping center that Juice & Java is in for a few years now and have never noticed their shop. Juice & Java is located on the back side of the shopping center (located near Winn Dixie and Chuck E Cheese). When you enter the restaurant, it's a little confusing on what you are supposed to do. There's a lot of tables with waitress service, however I was just looking to order a smoothie and take it to go. I saw menus at the front door, so I stopped for a second to see what smoothies they had and then I proceeded to the counter toward the back of the restaurant where I figured that would be where I needed to place my order. But it would have been nice to have one of the employees stop me and ask me if they could assist with anything. So, I go to the counter and found their juice menu (see attached photos). I had to study it a second because they didn't have their juice menu on their website. I ordered the 24 oz. All Natural Smoothie (Watermelon, Cantaloupe, and Pineapple) for $8.95. The server at the counter didn't seem to understand the combination and had to ask me to repeat it 3 times and I eventually had to just point it out to her on the menu. They had a few orders in front of me, but processed the smoothie order out very quickly, and found me in the restaurant to let me know my order was ready. I sat at one of the tables and a few of the servers asked if they could help me, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, I thought service was pretty good, and the smoothie was delicious (and prices were very reasonable too!). Now that I know how the ordering process works along with what options are on the juice menu, I'll be back the next time I am in the area. read more

I've been on my healthy vibe lately and this place was at the top of my list because of how much everyone likes it and it was time I gave my 2 cents. The spot looks small from the outside but it'll surprise you on the inside. It's so cute and refreshing to walk in here. There's a few plants hanging around and the set up is cute and hip. They have a few girls working since they're so busy all the time so that's good. They have a big selection of juices to pick from so it does tend to get overwhelming but OMG they all sound amazing. The salads are HUGE and you can tell by the crunch the veggies are fresh. We tried the J&J Salad with Chicken and the Mozzarella Caprese with grilled salmon. The salmon was huge and cooked perfectly. Very well paired with the cáprese salad. The J&J salad was good too. Huge mountain of greens with carrots, garbanzos, and sprouts with a home made dressing to top it off. Everything was delicious. We also had 2 juices which I can't remember the names of but those were one of the best juices I've ever had. So fresh and sweet yet so refreshing on a hot day in Miami. We were with Aubrey and they do have a kids menu but there aren't many options to choose from. She got some sort of cheese toast which consist of a tortilla with melted cheese on top. Eh.... I honestly think Juice and Java is more of a hype. Let's put it this way, J&J is not where you go for a cheap lunch while on your break. My friend ordered a split pea soup, I ordered a "lentil soup, and we split a falafel wrap. The crappy tasting soup was about $7, which I didn't eat because it honestly sucked. I can't remember how much the wrap was because my friend and I split the bill. We ordered two soups and one falafel wrap- all for the whopping price of $30. This seems a bit unreasonable to me considering the falafel wrap only had a couple tiny falafels inside with no hummus and no tahini. The service is subpar. We weren't even offered drinks, we had to wave down the server in order to get some water. When the server asked why I didn't eat my soup, I told her I did not like the soup. I explained it was just water with lentils and two pieces of sweet potato. She didn't even offer to comp the soup off my bill. I never ask for things to get taken off my bill, but normally any manager would come to address the customer and ask if there was anything they could do in order to better the customer's experience. Nope. Not at Juice and Java. I gave J&J 2 stars because the dressing they gave us for the wrap was pretty good. But that's it. I don't care to go back any time soon. My husband and I love Juice & Java for how fresh and healthy everything is. Our favorites are chicken melt sandwich, the sweet potato stuffed with chicken, vegan chocolate cake, any soup, Alex salad. Recently I decided to try the citrus salad it was great. My issue is the service. I tried ordering Uber eats this week it did take about an hr for a driver to pick it up but the restaurant had already closed without canceling the order (around 5). Last night I tried picking it up when I got home I looked at the salad and they hadn't added the $8 chicken I paid for and the fruit was in huge chunks that were annoying to cut up. Also when you go into the restaurant the service is veryyy slow. We just expect to spend over an hour. Also if you want to order lunch for pick up they rarely pick up the phone. One of the locals suggested this place as I was just visiting for 24hrs. He gave a disclaimer that the food was good but the service was extremely slow and he was accurate in terms of the service. Waited almost 15 minutes before being asked what we wanted to order. Since I was warned, I wasn't too worried about how long it took but I was expecting the food to be how he described and for me at least it didn't live up to the hype. I ordered the whites, turkey and cheese and the eggs were extremely runny to the point where I couldn't finish it. There are a few locations of Juice and Java and the Sunny Isle location is better. This place was a disappointment. The coffees took 20+ minutes to come out with heaps of cinnamon inside. The omelet came with non-melted cheese stuffed inside and upon request to reheat it, they "microwaved" it and returned it. The breakfast quesadilla was average. Overall, what a shame!
