Been coming to judy's for months now. This place is the best breakfast spot. A group of us that work at the hospital come here for breakfast after our night shift. The prices are unbeatable. The staff is so incredibly friendly. One of my fav breakfast burritos. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a quick but yummy breakfast!! read more

Judy's Kitchen - Dominican Near Me - New Brunswick, New Jersey

Judy's Kitchen has a mix of delicious Dominican food and even some Mexican staples! I usually only do takeout from here but the service is fast and my order is always right! I love the chipotle chicken wrap, the pork chop/chuleta, platanos maduros, and of course the rice and beans. Also the wrap tastes amazing with the jalapeno cholula sauce (if you own that at home, just a tip). The prices are also very fair, especially for breakfast! I can't wait for my next time picking up from Judy's! read more

Food was great !! Came as shown in the photos. They stapled the bag and food was still hot. I ordered off of Uber Eats it should have gotten to be sooner. Uber made multiple stops after picking up my food which was crazy because this place was only 10 mins from me. read more

MUST TRY spot if you're in the Rutgers area! My go-to choice is the Chicken Cutlet Club Sandwich- it's is only about $7 and it's such a simple yet delicious meal. It comes with choice of a side, salad, pasta, or fries. Overall, Judy's has a great value for their food (most of their items are less than $10) and will be sure to fill you up and satisfy your cravings. They have quick and friendly service! I ordered for delivery and food was delivered in less than 30 min. They have a huge variety of items. I'll definitely be going back try more of their menu! read more

Judy's Kitchen - Chicken Cutlet Club Sandwich (w/ side of salad) - Dominican Near Me - New Brunswick, New Jersey

Such a great place! The food and staff are 5 stars! I was in the ER for hours and got the house special, chicken and veggies with rice, tacos, and a milkshake. My doordash driver brought the wrong food and pretty much told me too bad and they had another delivery. I called up Judy's Kitchen and they apologized and made me a new meal and delivered it themselves. So thankful! I was there for almost 8 hours, they really helped! read more

I ordered and had it delivered today, and the bag was leaking oil. There were a few empanadas in one bag, and they were not labeled. They were also very dry. And I ordered a ham and cheese empanada, and idk what they sent, but there wasn't ham and some white stuff inside. Oh, and the rice was crunchy! An absolute waste of money! read more

Pancakes and chicken cutlet club sandwich was amazing. Prices and everything are perfect. 10/10 love this place. read more

Great customer service and super friendly staff. Wide range of food to choose from and all of it really good.

Amazing food!! Very cute little place to stop in for lunch. Large portions for cheap price and delicious food as well. Their Mexican food of all kinds are so good- I got the Hawaiian quesadilla and it was incredible. I haven't tried the empanadas yet but everyone says they're the best from Judy's. I will have to make a trip there soon to try it out!! Not sure who Judy is, only men work there and they don't know either so I guess we can add that to the list of mysteries about New Brunswick! Incredible food, must try!!! read more

Great little surprise when you need it the most. Very friendly staff. Food was excellent and nicely priced.

this place deserves all the love! amazing food, really cute interior too. lots of books to check out on the shelves. service was great as well. my favorite place to eat in new brunswick read more

Wanted to try this place out because of the good reviews and cheap prices. I wasn't disappointed! I got a chipotle chicken wrap and the chipotle sauce really made the wrap. It was the perfect amount of spicy. My only critique is that you can tell it's bad for you lol. By that I mean, it was a little heavy on the stomach. But hey, that's the whole point of cheap grease shops. Would come again. read more

Waited 20 mins for a wrap in an empty restaurant. Fries were undercooked, the lady behind the counter was extremely rude and attempted to give me 60 cents in pennys. Store was a mess, looked like no one had cleaned behind the counter in a month. Never going, back terribly run buisness read more

Definitely one of the best places to eat at Rutgers, and it kind of flies under a lot of people's radar too. The food is delicious and you get a lot for what you pay - for just $7 you can get a wrap loaded with chicken, guac, and an amazing Chipotle sauce. On top of that, you get a free side of salad or rice and beans. With so many other nearby places offering so little for what you have to pay, Judy's Kitchen is a great change of pace. read more

Nice, small Spanish food restaurant. I ordered the rice and beans, pernil (pork) and empanadas (beef and cheese).. everything was delicious. It's not expensive and the staff were friendly. I would recommend stopping by. read more

Authentic Mexican food. Small place, but that's all you need if the food is great, the staff is nice, and the variety is wide. I got al pastor tacos, which is pork w pineapple. I also got carne asada tacos, both tacos came with green sauce and pico de gallo. The homemade nachos w cheese and ground beef was awesome and perfect. I decided to try their Carne asada torta as a takeout after my meal and I didn't regret it. Just large portions of meat and they don't skimp on it. Worth the money. Would def go back again when I'm in the area. read more

Felt a bit sick after eating. Rice was overcooked and red beans tasted a bit like cardboard. The first bite of pasta salad wasn't bad, but even that managed to be unflavorful. Beef stew itself was standard but very inconsistent much better after adding additional seasoning. Tack on the already steep price and the tacky "want more pay more" sign inside the store and you've got yourself a loser. There are so many better options on Easton. read more

Good Spanish homemade food. Small shop with great prices and good comfort foods. They also have a little seating area in the back where you can go and sit down and have coffee or tea or your meal. The staff here is very friendly and loves customers coming in to try their foods. Since it is out of the way compared to most Easton Ave restaurants it isn't as well known but good food and worth the try. read more

Judy's Kitchen - Beef Stew, yellow rice, red beans & Pasta Sallad. Absolutely delicious! - Dominican Near Me - New Brunswick, New Jersey

Had the open fajita which was well worth the price of $10. in comparison to the quantity of food given. The best item I liked was the chicken cutlet club which comes with fries or salad. Just for your info they charge extra for using credit instead of cash. read more

Tried the chicken stew, carne asada, baked chicken, and roasted pork (pernil). They were all very good! Simple, but very satisfying. I hope they don't try to add more salt like some places do, as these dishes are already flavorful. All the hispanic food platters come with rice, beans and salad, and they are very generous with their portions. Would recommend this place to anyone nearby. read more

Ordered a chicken burrito, maduros, and tres leches. The tres leches here is by far the best tres leches I've ever had the pleasure of trying. The chicken burrito was dry, the rice wasn't fresh, and the beans, I'm assuming, came straight out of a can; my burrito tasted old. I would return for the tres leches. Today, Judy's Kitchen refused to deliver to my home because they demanded more $ than usual for their delivery. I've consistently ordered the same items for months now, and this is what they told me. Will not be returning. Shoutout to GrubHub for refunding me and giving me extra cash towards my next order, which will NOT be used towards Judy's Kitchen! read more

I had high hopes for this place but the order just did not show up. It's nearing two hours and I'm still waiting for the delivery. I called to question it about in hour in and was just told the food was already sent out. When I placed my order I was told it would take 45 min - 1 hour. Two hours is a bit ridiculous. I can't even review about the food because I don't have it. Perhaps it's better to eat in there but I wouldn't recommend ordering it for delivery. EDIT: Well, my food arrived. And they got the order wrong! Everything tasted fine and the portions are pretty big but would have been nice to get the correct food on time. read more

I got my food delivered. I ordered a cheeseburger, curly fRies, tres leches, moz sticks and platanos. The curly fries weren't even in the bag, the moz sticks were cold and didn't have any marinara sauce with them? The tres leche got everywhere and spilled all over the bag. The burger was ok, but kinda salty. Very upset about my lack of curly fries more than anything. read more

Authentic Hispanic food served here! Empanadas are great, as are the tacos. Prices are very fair and there is a fantastic menu selection. It's also very conveniently located for off-campus students! There's also a nice area to sit down inside if that's what you'd like to do. This establishment also houses an ATM. read more

The Mexican food scene on the Easton strip is getting competitive, but they still can't top the Mexican food you can get along the French Street corridor. Most students will never head down there, which is why Judy's is so special. You can find whatever you're looking for, whether it's smoothies and omelettes or empanadas and burritos like they make down on French Street. Delicious food, kind people, and one of the more agreeable price points in the area. Portions are large! read more

I've always liked the food here but the service is so terrible the food can't make up for it. When ever I place orders to be picked up it's not uncommon for them to just not take it down so when I walk in there I now have to wait 15min for them to cook my order after I already waited 25min before the pick up. I then switched to ordering online but when I walked in there they said the had no order for a "Nick", after waiting 10 min for them to make my order again I saw they already had my order ready but the owner didn't realize because the name on that order was "Nicholas". The combined IQ of the employees at Judy's is lower than my GPA. read more

I wish I could leave a good review as the food wasn't that bad from what I can remember. We ordered once and commented that we would order again to try some other items on the menu. We went to order delivery again one evening through Eat24 and our order was cancelled without any explanation, only an email. We actually didn't realize it was cancelled until we were sitting around, hungry, wondering where our food was. We decided to take another shot at it, despite the bad taste that was left in our mouths last time. As soon as I hit submit on the delivery order, I immediately got an email saying they were running behind schedule. Ok. A few minutes later, the phone rang to tell us that the main protein of the dish I ordered was not available and I was given other choices. I was barely given a few moments to make up my mind. 40 minutes after we placed the order, we get a phone call from Eat24 telling us we would need to pick up the order because they could not deliver it. We were already on the phone with the restaurant once. If they wanted us to pick it up, or could not accommodate the delivery, they should have asked us then while we were talking to them or made that adjustment in their system to show they were not delivering. We told Eat24 to cancel the order. This was absolutely ridiculous. We would have been paying a delivery fee AND tip to go and pick up the delivery order. How absurd?! The food may be good- again, I think we only ate it once, but we were left trying to come up with an alternate dinner plan at 9:30pm. We will not be ordering from Judy's Kitchen again. read more

The empanadas were empty. The quesadilla and buffalo chicken wrap smelled like burnt maple syrup. Trust me when I say this, save your money! The manager, Alfredo, was extremely defensive and confrontational when my boyfriend and I asked for something else that didn't have the strong maple syrup smell. He became aggressive and rude over the phone. I have such a bad taste in my mouth from both the food and the customer service. I'll never order from here again and neither should anyone else. It is that bad. Keep in mind, this is my first review ever but I felt prompted to warn others after the horrible experience. read more

I am an extremely picky eater and I have never once wrote a review about a single thing, but this place deserves it. The food is fantastic. I've only ordered delivery so I can only imagine that the food in house is even better. I would recommend this place tenfold. read more

I enjoyed this place more when I first started coming here. Some of the food on the menu is really good sometimes and other times isn't that good and the quality will be pretty bad. Some items on the menu are much better than others. Much of the food is extremely greasy and the pasta salad is really bland. Burritos and wraps will often give you diarrhea. Their breakfast is really good a lot of the time, however. The wait can at times be unbearably long and the service is really bad. One of the employees that is on the grill and takes the orders is extremely friendly, however the other one can be downright rude and arrogant and will absolutely overcharge you for anything he can, and doesn't understand how to operate a phone when taking orders. It's also quite peculiar that they run out of certain food on the menu fairly frequently. The sign inside that says "You want more you pay more!!!" is also quite ridiculous. A lot of the food is pretty overpriced for what it is and is really bad for you, and the service and wait can also be awful, but it's in an old dumpy neighborhood in New Brunswick so you really can't expect that much. That being said, I would still recommend to anyone to try this place since it is different and some of the items on the menu can be really good. Just don't be shocked if you get sick or have diarrhea the next day and don't come here too often or you will really start to be disappointed. read more
