My daughter was at rehearsal, so she couldn't go with me to try on the shoes. At Susan's suggestion, I brought one of my daughter's shoes with me to decide which size character shoe would fit her. Susan did a great job in helping me buy the right character sized shoe without my daughter's presence. There was another customer in as well who was shopping for her daughter who needed something last minute as well for an audition the next morning in NYC and Susan saved her as well!! Her daughter as well was not with her. Blue Dove Dance Boutique has everything you need in a great location and the store owner is welcoming, helpful and sweet. You will not be disappointed!!

The staff was so helpful and gentle with her little feet and made her first dance shoe experience so fun! They had full inventory and all sizes so we could actually leave with style and size we wanted without waiting for the dreaded ordering. Anyone with a toddler knows that placing an order is not what they want when they walk into a store! I was also so happy when I got home and looked up the items we had bought online and saw that the prices were exact MSRP with no boutique mark ups. We will be back probably once a week after dance class!

So I just had a very interesting experience at Echo. I'm here visiting from the city for my mini…read morevacation and kept hearing rave reviews about this place. The family I'm staying with also suggested I check it out. It's my last day here and I wanted to check it out before I left because I heard they have really cool old school toys (which I collect), cool clothes, and bras in my size! I waited until they were open but no one was there so I decided to walk around and come back a little later. Upon entering I was not greeted. Not a big deal though because I can be pretty shy and wanted to browse around. I soon felt uncomfortable; like I wasn't welcome but I brushed it off. It's a feeling POC unfortunately often feel when they're shopping in unfamiliar areas or shops. I wanted to give the woman at the register the benefit of the doubt. I found a cool harmonica that I wanted to gift my boyfriend but was being indecisive about what else to get I remembered the bras! I went to check them out and then I stumbled upon the sale section and that's when the woman at the register basically ran up on me. She said to let her know if I needed help with anything. It was completely bizarre because it was clear she came over just to see what I was doing. There were a few other people in there and she passed by them and didn't ask them if they needed anything. It was so clear in my mind that she thought I was trying to steal that dumb ass harmonica or anything from that janky store. The bras were overpriced, the clothes were honestly hideous and not for anyone under the age of 40. The toys and books were ok but nothing really jumped out at me. Except this woman. It was a very uncomfortable experience and when I went to pay for the items (yes I got the damn harmonicas) she gave me full on attitude. No smile, very condescending "you're welcome" after I thanked her. Just all around bad attitude as if she was the one being followed. I would beware if you are a POC. I didn't get the woman's name but she was probably a SWF, pudgy and had dark hair.

He said he'd pull one from the back and have it waiting up front. He also offered me still or sparkling water. I accepted since it was a scorching August day. Love my new mini pouch and can't wait to wear it! There was no savings off retail here but the selection of Le Pliage sizes and colors was vast. Also very friendly service!

Only store credit- hummm no sign on front door only small sign on counter and one hanging on wall behind counter that on would need a magnifying glass to even see if knew it was there. When busy you don't even make it up to the counter as they hover and take care of u from all sides. My suggestion would be to have a larger sign on front door or have one of your hovering employees who keep offering to take the stuff out of you hands before your really even sure if you like the item tell you about their only store credit policy I would have not bought to begin with my last purchase. Oh and to stay policy is on receipt. Wtf so it's rung up so no return. Interesting I saw on their website they take returns from online purchases?? I feel discriminated against because I came in. Wacky and bad business practice. Where I work we tell everyone about the extra charge if using a credit card before they actually use it and even tho it's a small thing knowing before hand is key. I shop here once a year for someone in particular so no loss. I'll just give my store credit issued card as a gift to someone else and let them know ahead of purchase the shitty return policy.
