We…read morecame up with a plan for replacing old cracked fillings and for a tooth that I hung onto for way too long. The hygienist was amazingly friendly and professional and so good at her craft. She put me on a shorter cleaning schedule so I could catch up from the neglect through Covid days. Didn't hurt a bit! After about a year and a half playing catch up, the work has begun. I'm well on my way to my teeth being fully restored! Also, after weighing all of my options about that darn tooth, I finally got rid of it and can smile again without being embarrassed. They provided me with choices and gave me time to make the right decision for myself. No pressure! I'm glad I chose here. I can see the difference in care from other places I have been. They work as a team. Dr. Seaback is amazing. Very skilled! She also worked with my insurance after a denial and they caved! She's amazing. This place has washed away my dental anxiety and I'm well on my way to a beautiful healthy smile again. I'm so grateful to them!

I have…read morestayed with this practice for 2 1/2 years because the previous providers were careful and neuro-affirming. Today was a complete failure of care. Clinical Safety & Professionalism: The new hygienist was incredibly rough, 'digging for gold' and causing me to bleed--something that has never happened here before. To make matters worse, they didn't even confirm my penicillin/amoxicillin allergies until AFTER the procedure was over and I was already bleeding. Judgmental Conduct: I felt deeply judged and stigmatized for taking Doxy-PreP. The hygienist knew nothing about it, had to look it up, and then treated me with an inappropriate, 'positive' bias. As a patient, I should not have to educate my provider on preventative care, nor should I be made to feel uncomfortable for my medical choices. The Office: There is a sign at checkout apologizing for a doctor and hygienist leaving, which explains the drop in quality. While the reception and checkout ladies are perfect and deserve 5 stars for their professionalism, the clinical side is currently unsafe and unprofessional. If you value your privacy, safety, and energy protection, I strongly suggest going elsewhere.

Ask questions (record) because once they extract those easy hundreds from your insurance for the 15 minute consult and panoramic/X-rays, you are STUCK! You will lose HUNDREDS when you want to change oral surgeons after you find out they suddenly demand the " highest" cash deposit .. or find out the office just made the network policy "change" to exclusively make things difficult for YOU! The delay waiting for the apt. and benefit grab of hundreds for that first appointment, makes it harder to switch to a better office like Cap District Oral Surgeons. BEFORE a CONSULT, and before you walk through that door, require they contact insurance for a prior auth and obtain a COPY. Actively involve insurance! DONT BE THE DESPERATE FOOL they profit from! Their shadiness cost pain, delay of care, and loss of 2k worth of an annual dental insurance benefit. After rep verified procedure was covered in full by insurance with no deductible, the manager changed it up to require a cash down payment for the surgery now stating the "surgery" was billed differently allowing them to demand cash also!!! All of it should have been with our insurance - with no deductible! How in the world can the X-rays and expensive 15 minute consult be in network and covered at 100 %, but the extractions also covered at 100% demand a huge CASH down payment at the highest estimated cost! I rarely wait 10 minutes past my appointment time to get in to see the hygienist (though I do usually come in the earlier mornings). The woman who cleans my teeth is extremely friendly and does a great job. I really dislike going to the dentist (who doesn't??) and I've had great experiences with her. I haven't spent a lot of time with the actual dentists in the office, since they come in and do a short exam, but I've had positive experiences mostly with them as well. Overall, if you're looking for a dentist in the area, give Dr. Clemente's office a try.

The tooth removal however did fix the the chronic pain I had been suffering for years. Oh, he offered to take care of my husband's teeth for half price, $2,000.00, if I paid in cash and came in on off hours. Pathetic.
