I explained to Wen that my gas service had been disconnected and that I was in a rush to have a primary heating system installed before it got cold out. After coming to an agreement on price, he asked for more money for the electrical work. When I asked for an explanation for the cost increase, Wen abruptly cancelled our agreement one business day before his electricians were scheduled to arrive and begin work. In hindsight, the additional $600 Wen was asking for was not a lot of money considering the total project cost was almost $24K, however, I believe he overreacted to my question. He ignored my calls and texts even after I offered to blindly pay him the $600 he was demanding. Be aware that while Wen may come off as professional and competent, he is anything but. He left me scrambling to find another contractor to do this work knowing I had a tight timeline.
