I can't get home quick enough to meet up with the hubby again. Yayyyyyy! Dessert!!! THE TASTES: Heaven. Nirvana. Jack standing at the bow, arms stretched wide shouting, "I'm the king of the world!" That. That's what it's like. And I literally dissected and analyzed each lovely layer, mostly fluffy, decadent mousse, creamy, cheesy and rich. The crust bottoms. Holy smokes! I actually avoid graham cracker crusts but not this one. A-MAZING. Another slice had a crisp shortbread-like crust. Like, WHO DOES THAT?! Omg. I gorged until I regretted rushing in. After we finished lunch, we went, went over to the bakery side and started calling out things we wanted to try. I got a pistachio cream horn and a lemon bar. My son got a kolache and a loaf of the challa bread. Fortunately, for him, they had some in the freezer. You usually have to order three days earlier. My wife got some kind of little cookie for herself and some decorated cookies for Halloween to give to my other son and his wife. I was amazed at how low the total price was for everything. I was convinced they had made a mistake and forgotten to charge for something, but my wife went through it and said it was correct. I will go back there in the future for sure.
