The lawn mowing and edging are generally good, but we were really disappointed to find that the trunks of our young perimeter shrubs had been damaged. It seems that because the mower couldn't fit, an edge trimmer was used around the trunks, but without enough care, resulting in deep nicks to the thin bark. One day I noticed my drip system was not working on all 4 stations even when selecting an…read moreindividual station. So, I texted Bob to let him know the problem and suggested that he check it out at his convenience. Within 2 days, he informed me that he had an opportunity to check my drip system. I have dealt with Bob & Mimmy for the last 10 years and have never been disappointed. In fact, since this particular problem was rather weird, I decided to watch every little thing he did but hidden so he wouldn't know I was watching. Upon initial survey he found that one of the station valves had failed and had to be replaced. He left and returned with the part in about 20 minutes. He then double checked the "Hunter" control unit for proper operation and voltage, finding that even the faulty station valve was receiving the proper operating signal. He then went about replacing the station valve. Watching him step by step (although he didn't see me watching) was absolutely fascinating. The man was methodical, conscientious and safety minded with respect to the various electrical connections required for operation of the new valve as well as proper and unhindered water flow through it. To me it was like watching Disney magic or a suspenseful detective movie even though I virtually knew everything he was doing except for the intricacies of the valve itself which I did not fathom. When finished he presented me with a very detailed invoice for a paltry, $152 for all the work he did and time he spent which altogether added up to about 4 hours.
