The only reason I removed a star is because I had to wait a while for both of my appointments with them which isn't uncommon at medical providers but is still a frustration for patients/customers who might be operating on a tight timeline. The location is very convenient for anyone living in the neighborhood. The office was very clean. IMPORTANT: this is a note I'm sharing on every review I leave for medical providers regardless of my experience with them, as a PSA for others - it is NOT a reflection on the provider: ALWAYS confirm how a medical provider will 'code' a visit/procedure/service and understand how that relates to your insurance coverage BEFORE you schedule the visit/procedure/service. For example: will a preventative screening with a dermatologist be 'coded' in a way that'll compromise my insurance from covering a future preventative annual wellness check with my primary in the same calendar year? This is an extra step that can consume time but it is worth it.

Unlike those previous so called facials, Daniela wants to know all about your skincare, allergies, and meds. Her skincare workup reminded me of a doctor's exam. My answers provided her with a roadmap on how to treat my stressed, not loved enough skin. Her facial is excellent down the painful, much needed extractions. She talked with me through the process and asked about skincare issues. Daniela also informed me to stay away certain things to improve the care of my skin which were previously unknown to me. I didn't know that steam rooms were bad for me and could lead to permanently red skin. She also informed me how using too gentle a cleanser had a negative, build up effect on my face. I knew I had sensitive skin, but I was too sensitive with it. I certainly didn't know this beforehand!! After the facial, she provided samples and skincare regiment to heal my improperly cared for visage. I used her samples this morning and saw a dramatic difference already. I can honestly say that this is best facial that I've ever. Nothing compares to care and knowledge that went into getting me ready to be a glowing bride with a well cared for face. I know there is downtime with a peel and I had things going on that weekend that didn't allow for any last minute skincare changes. I felt like she might have been trying to upsell and was upset when I didn't take her recommendation. Anyways, I knew the hydrafacial was a little quicker than a "spa" facial but I feel like it was completely rushed! She didn't remove my make-up before the procedure which left me with mascara under my eyes during and after the procedure. The actual facial was maybe 10 minutes long with quick runs over just the larger areas on my face, no attention to detail like I had seen in all the videos I watched of hydrafacial reviews (from multiple spas). The results were lackluster. No shine, no bounce, no ultra-glow from this facial. My face looked and felt exactly the same as when I came in. That said, I'm not going back for that chemical peel if this is the level of service for a new, paying customer.
